I did what Simon (Husky) said when I bought a Euro car gulp* an Alfa.
I asked who held an "interest" in the Alfa and it was a finance company in Burwood.
I made out 2 bank cheques and with the seller present, I gave 1 to the finance institution and received a clearance letter in exchange.
I then gave the other cheque to the seller and he gave me a bill of sale.
It all happened on the same day Longz.
It gets really sticky if as Yo-Yo says, your friend is buying on finance himself.

Brett is giving your mate good advice; because without insurance and if he (whilst "at fault") writes off a new M5, he's up for $200,000 (even if he owns a Sh!tbox)!!!!!
You only need to obtain 2 quotes for repair.
If the "at fault" driver reneges paying, we already have a thread here in this NSW Subforum of traffic lawyers. Look up one of those & it won't cost much (on his letterhead) to send a "letter of demand"

PMd you James.
There'll be only one freight for 2 cartons, so all up cost is $93.45 into my account
...for 20x 90g Strawberry n Cream Musashi P20 low carb/high protein bars.
The order can take 2-4 weeks. I'll PM you again when they're in
Terry
Hi James,
That link of the P20 shows a 65g bar
But my wholesaler can only access a 90g bar, so...
90g x 10 = $39.71 + 10% + $6.05 (freight) = $49.75 for the carton of 10 strawberry n cream
That seems to work out better re 90g and cut them in half eh?
