  1. I went to the 2010 one. It was superb! It just lacked the 240K then.
  2. I did what Simon (Husky) said when I bought a Euro car gulp* an Alfa. I asked who held an "interest" in the Alfa and it was a finance company in Burwood. I made out 2 bank cheques and with the seller present, I gave 1 to the finance institution and received a clearance letter in exchange. I then gave the other cheque to the seller and he gave me a bill of sale. It all happened on the same day Longz. It gets really sticky if as Yo-Yo says, your friend is buying on finance himself.
  3. Lol Have a good time. Your Mums say, "Be Careful!" I'm helping out another SAUer here at home today - legal issue I'm afraid.
  4. Thanks Nick They'd appreciate that!
  5. There aren't many around these days, but check out... Top Secret Imports Master Cars Northshore Prestige Extreme Imports (Guilford area) JapLink Motors ...by reputation and willingness to honour faults
  6. Only have a white car so-o-o, I could do the next best thing and see if spectacles can come with MP lenses can't I?
  7. Hahaa... Still waiting on a call James for a freight cost to Vic
  8. I can help you get off the stuff!!!
  9. Hi Umair, The banana 2.5Kg tub will cost $77.80 + freight (hopefully just over $6). Regards, Terry
  10. I'm glad you got some sanity back into your thread in the end eg kawasakirider's post above you.
  11. I've referred 2 ladies to come along in their white V35. Please make them welcome? They've never been on an SAU event before. Cheers
  12. Nope. PN-Mad is correct CTP Green slip covers people Third Party Property covers property (but not your own) Comprehensive covers your property and others
  13. Stupidity is not one of my qualities Luke Another thought... If one of us wins this, it needs to be brought down to Texi for a run through the cones backwards Reece? Dave?
  14. Is that number marked or stamped somewhere Dean? I wasn't aware of numbered plates for instance except on Z-Tunes. Pic?
  15. Brett is giving your mate good advice; because without insurance and if he (whilst "at fault") writes off a new M5, he's up for $200,000 (even if he owns a Sh!tbox)!!!!!
  16. FR33ZN ! Here we are...
  17. You only need to obtain 2 quotes for repair. If the "at fault" driver reneges paying, we already have a thread here in this NSW Subforum of traffic lawyers. Look up one of those & it won't cost much (on his letterhead) to send a "letter of demand" A former SAU.NSW President works in that capacity & is on that list! > Abo Bob
  18. Think of it this way... Many thieves wouldn't be caught dead (in the act of) stealing it
  19. Ash's right. Suncorp owns AAMI, Just Car, Shannon's, Aust Alliance & Aust Pensioners' Insurance. Wesfarmers owns Lumleys SV, Bunnings, Coles, Target Edit* I just saw sydking's post
  20. Sounds better than preserving one's mother-in-law in formalin and putting her on the mantlepiece.
  21. I honestly don't know what to say.
  22. What's worse Ian; a liar or a thief? Lol
  23. So if you're the one who wins it; would you sell it?
  24. PMd you James. There'll be only one freight for 2 cartons, so all up cost is $93.45 into my account ...for 20x 90g Strawberry n Cream Musashi P20 low carb/high protein bars. The order can take 2-4 weeks. I'll PM you again when they're in Terry
  25. Hi James, That link of the P20 shows a 65g bar But my wholesaler can only access a 90g bar, so... 90g x 10 = $39.71 + 10% + $6.05 (freight) = $49.75 for the carton of 10 strawberry n cream That seems to work out better re 90g and cut them in half eh?
