  8. When I sold my BsB VS2, it was a reasonable price at the time for a mint low Km specimen. 'twas about this time last year. It seems to have appreciated now like a few other models.
  9. I had a look at the link Dori. I'd still like to use the OEM end caps, so what would you use to safely shave off 5mm without mucking up the edge? Ta
  10. Betcha at home, his missus tells him always, "Clean it up!" In 6 weeks tell your G/f to take your precious car there and say, "Clean it up!" And guess what? He'll clean it up!
  11. Funny. Sometimes, it's who you know. I saw a friend at the WTAC Just Car desk. He asked me how often the car would be driven. He said that Just Car would insure my 'Line for 25% more Sum Insured and to pay 15% less Premium than a previous over-the-phone quote.
  12. Someone was asking on the forum what R34 GTR that one should buy with x-y-z in mind... My reply was to consider the V-Spec. I sincerely hope he sees this.
  13. PM'd If blade doesn't fit with standard endcaps, then I'll withdraw. I read your Post #81 in the link & understood that this does fit within the endcaps - hmmm hope so... Thanks dori
  14. As an apprentice painter at Nissan, if I'd created a slight blemish on "White" in the paint shop, the boss would go over it for sure in "Silica Breath". If I'd had a night out on the sake and wee'd on a "White" Nur, the boss would cover it up with "Bayside Blue" which is why the paint thickness is way up there. Now I'd never been sacked from Nissan, but the apprentice who was - well, all his Nurs ended up "Pearl Black" ...my dream...
  15. Can't the painter clean it up?
  16. Not much to do - to make her top notch!
  17. ...and ask them to spray a sample on a card, so you can take the card around each panel (incl roof) of your car to get the best match.
  18. It's "weekend cars" rather than "weekend drivers" Longz For a reasonable Sum Insured... Choice is between... * Shannon's * Just Car * Dawes (high end) * Lumleys SV * Piranha (is a broking firm)
  19. How about I buy this off David #1 now > sell it to David #2 for $180 when you've got the moolah? ...and after I've put 100hrs on her? Hehe...
  20. Have you PM'd w34ponGT David?
  21. ...and don't say, "Ssuck Ass" to anyone at the front of the room.
  22. And so David, did you take the original bonnet support off? Edit* Just noticed that its easily removable. Ok can I take these off your hands. Can you leave them on your car till I get there and I'll check the positioning visually before removal (- unless you've already taken them off) Ta Terry
  23. Actually, on 3rd thought, does this set weigh more or less than the metal bonnet prop? If it's less, I'll take them. If it's more I won't. My guess is; it weighs a fraction more. Being an N1, I'm anal about weight. Ta, Terry
