  1. Puzzle solved - all's good
  2. It'll help Noel if you can find the rear view mirror
  3. It might depend on which poncams were installed Michael but... Can you and your mechanic do a comp test? > if required, check if your belt has slipped a tooth on the cam gear? > if so, what belt brand is it? n11smo has had his VS2 at a painter 2 weeks ago > it has Tomei poncams and cam gears > painter couldn't start (cold Penrith temp) > car got towed > inspection revealed that the belt had slipped big time > belt does not look like OEM or Nismo > all the valves down one side are bent > JapLink is "looking after" n11smo as an act of compassion Offender was the poncam on inlet? Or the belt (gates)? Or the painter starting the car who may have revved it whilst moving it? Don't know.
  4. Nismo Nuts scratch up easily eh? Wonder if wet 'n dry does much to help...
  5. Aaaah! Now we're touching on the... Definition of Sport:- * Smart enough to make the rules work for you, plus... * Dumb enough to think the game is important !!! Hehe... Oh well; having been a catamaran skipper, yeah well I've been a sucker to "get an edge" somehow - like anti-friction paint - lol
  6. Lol. They were desperately having a loan of various tools from JapLink Dave. They forgot to bring some of theirs.
  7. With next to no fuel,... Eastern Ck weigh station (if accurate)... V-Spec N1 = 1528Kg
  8. There's a Sh!tload of Advan A050s leftover from WTAC on the weekend. Most were replaced after just one heat cycle. I'd love to have them myself
  9. Dang asians David:- cant even park straight! ...so worried about asian drivers I stay off the footpath... Nah... Iron Chef Display Car whilst Kristian helped out JapLink
  10. His face in real life does not reveal any shred of a hint of dishonesty.
  11. So pleased and comforted to have met up with FineLine and others who 'looked' older than me... Hehe... But you young'uns count too
  12. Noel and all the young'uns at WTAC on Fri -Sat... Great to C Yas!!!
  13. Not one damn thing wrong with the R33. When you have three people in a room, two tend to pair off and it makes the other guy feel like the odd one out. Or there's always a scapeboat 'er scapegoat. To watch Kurosawa take his R33 around Nurburgring in 8'01" was poetry in motion.
  14. The Conversion Paint is easily brushed on with a quality long hair brush. It does not affect the colour of your existing paint, because it dries clear. Within an hour the difference is there before your eyes. The Fish Oil I have is in an aerosol can. This process stopped any more rusting of an Alfa Romeo in its tracks. Any automotive paint shop has it - but I don't know about Repco/Auto1/Supercheap
  15. Pete is very knowledgeable + TSI communication is very good. Recommended certainly for servicing!
  16. Good > feedback will be appreciated since I have a couple of cars in that same area.
  17. Step 1) Conversion paint that eats up ferric oxide and like that stuff in the above post robs the metal of oxygen Step 2) Fish oil spray
