  1. Yes but that's just the half of it. * Another part is that viruses (& even bacteria, amoeba, parasites and fungi) are mutating at a faster rate than what the newest antibiotic/antiviral research can keep up * Another part is the advent of Genetically Modified crops * Another part (as a catalyst) is that people travel more broadly/frequently ...but you're on the right track Vera
  2. May I ask how many ??microns of paint thickness there were before the application of polish? Very nice btw
  3. JapLink offered SAU Members a 1st Fl Clubroom where we've had film nights, meetings etc Rick. Rent has been gratis thanks to CEOs Todd and Yumi. Generous of them eh? They offer discounts for servicing too (to SAU Members) by their Japanese mechanics. We're open to ideas on how utilise it to greater effect.
  4. Just weighing in here with a tangent, isn't it best to go digital?
  5. The theory that it was stolen by joyriders is still alive n well then. Poor car and maybe poor owner too.

  11. There's a set of R34 GT-R wheels with 70% Falken rubber (wearing evenly) in the F/S Section now. The rims seem to be in very good nick.
  12. ^ ^ ^ Perhaps the bike rider WAS the owner? Perhaps his GT-R was stolen by joyrider/s? > And owner was contacted by police to say that his car had been located?
  13. If the world was hit by a pandemic to-day, 99% of the world would panic > degrade into anarchy. Microbiologists say it's just a matter of time before a supercontagion evolves to breach our last lines of antibiotic defence. What plan would you implement for yourself and your family? 30 years ago, people considered the idea of building nuclear or bushfire bunkers; so would you reinforce your home's impregnability and how? What would your stockpile consist of? To what extent would you quarantine yourself? Would looters need to be fended off in the area you live - maybe no place is safe - but how would you be proactive (assuming the perimeter of your house is as passively protected as possible)? Remember: Being very afraid is not a solution.
  14. ...have to be careful when us asian drivers are around > even the footpath isn't safe !!

  20. True, and then the young'un might (but not always) get a step up to a better no claim bonus when they take on responsibility with their own stand-alone policy. The only (and personal) hitch is, what does the parent say when the insurer asks, "Now how often will the nominated driver be driving this vehicle?" Of course we tell the truth don't we? Or the 'truth'?
  21. My last two cars have been blue n white. Go change yours to purple lol
  22. ...and we'll be out at ANZ Stadium dressed in Blue n White
  23. ...meaning, "the installers knew your car had no security" I'm old too + suspicious.
