  1. Really great tough looking car and welcome! Have you got in touch with Andrew yet ? Also from London and again with an R33, he's known around here at SAU as "Torques" > nice guy
  2. ...better not park this next to Shell's R34 > turn your back for 1 minute > you'll be left with her car and your number plates on it
  3. Can't you ask your mechanic to rectify this?
  4. 'Tis indeed!!! Credit to you Chris
  5. ^ ^ ^ Looks like you've had your ECU issues sorted out by Yavuz (- so far - so good). Really nice bunch of guys there from NSCC including a few SAUers who are members of both clubs haha...
  6. If I can get it done in one big chart (rather than a farkin jigsaw puzzle), I'll send it off to you in a tube Paul. > ...off to Officeworks on Monday PM me your addy
  7. ...am in the area.
  8. Very Impressive Jarryd
  9. In the meantime Paul I'll try to ascertain who can copy these chart-sized diagrams ok?
  10. I'll tell you where I bought these manuals (including the hardcopy workshop manual); and that's from the Autobookworld Bookshop at Rushcutters Bay. Ph (02) 8354.1999 If they have any remaining Paul, they can send it to you in SA.
  11. Do you have a grandparent, a pensioner, who doesn't drive anymore? That person is still legally able to own a car and thus register it for free. The limit is one car under RMS rules. A green slip is still required though. And then it's your call as to whether or not to insure the car and put yourself down as a nominated driver. The grandparent would be best to will that car to you in the process or pre-sign the 'Notice of Disposal' with you as the 'Buyer'
  12. Looks like we have a "group buy" of 3 so far, to see DVS JEZ Any more takers?
  13. That's upsidedown lol Where are you situated? I can take my wiring diag. book down to my friends at JapLink and ask Yumiko to perhaps translate that page for you (whilst you're on the phone with them simultaneously)? Their Ph# 02-9716.0857. They may even have this book already there. They help out SAUers from time to time. I've just asked my wife to translate parts of that page, but she's not familiar with sections of the car.
  14. Nick's a good lad! (yeah, Ricky too )
  15. I feel for you, but 2 points arouse my suspicions... 1) If your GTR had been comprehensively insured, you should have been paid out by March or April 2010 should you not? 2) Assuming that your GTR was then not insured, (and it's hard to understand why a person wouldn't insure such a car), the police have confiscated your car as evidence to build their case in a criminal matter perhaps? For some finite closure, methinks you need a lawyer after all this time! After 2+ years even the fuel will be pretty stale!
  16. stopwatch in the hands of 'Envyman'
  17. Nepean Valley Smash Repairs fitted the NACA Duct to my aluminium bonnet > resprayed. They used a resin between the duct and the aluminium so that no expansion/contraction cracks would eventuate. Long way from Berowra though.
  18. If you need to dispute a photograph that wrongly implicates you to be at fault of an infringement whether it be relating to .. a) speed b) parking c) accident ...you can contact this guy to have the photograph forensically assessed. 19. PM'd you Grant
  20. See! More fruit! ^ ^ ^ I remember when I was so privileged to have my Non-V-Spec '95 R33 GT-R let alone the V-Spec II in Bayside Blue (BTW - classy fuse box cover Shaun). I'm old enough to be your Dad and yet I'm still thinkin' "Why can't all cars be made like this?" ...ever since my 1st car in 1970 v v v...
  21. Lots of lovely fruit on this here thread. Thanks guys
  22. Every time I come up for Rego-check at one of my rear number plate lights are dead. Two weeks ago it was both. I asked why they're so fragile and the mechanic said, a) it's the way you put your tailgate down (since it doesn't seem to happen on my GTR) b) the filaments are more delicate than they used to be (coming from such n such a place)
  23. Also disagree. I paid earlier this year $2,800 for a second hand set of 18" without rubber. All the best with sale OP
  24. Much appreciated Anthony & David PFC D-Jetro bypasses AFM yeah...
