  1. Aftermarket alarm/immobiliser is often the culprit that drains... Got one?
  2. David Jones Food Hall is the ultimate classic! Entry downstairs from Market St (between Castlereagh and Pitt) About 10 choices.
  3. Adam, ^^^ I'd contact MaTBoY here on SAU or through his site www.autocult.net ...and ask him when his next photoshoot is on? He's doing a photoshoot for the OzFoz car club this Sun > rolling shots
  4. ...haven't heard from you for a month, but there's a Mr O'Donnell at Haberfield who's very very good
  5. Ta I've told Maria about it and she'd like to try! Apparently this style of cooking is in S-W China near Tibet she says. Wanna be 'the other woman'?
  6. Yup. I believe that because of periodic rule changes, elderly folk should go through retests more frequently as they get on in years. Even retesting at 50 wouldn't go astray; then 60, 70, 75, 78, 81, 84, 86, 88, 90, 91, 92...... Dementia testing and hearing tests should also be prerequisites after 70; not just sight tests. I'm 63 and I live in a township where quite a few oldies are on 10Km radius licences (negating the requirement to be examined). I believe that's wrong - in fact I know it's wrong. My jaw drops when I see what looks to be a woman over 80 going around a roundabout anticlockwise! My wife had seen oldies reverse parking into other cars including her own because their arthritic necks don't permit proper head checks! Ever tried driving by sound rather than sight? Then they get out of their cars and think there's not much damage, because their sight has also become defective. Dear oh dear!!!
  7. Noel and I are old enough to remember the awesome motoring performances of... * Prince * Hakosuka * Fairlady * 1600 * 240Z * R32 GTR ...that shook the earth in rallying, tracks, slaloms and targas. Euro cars tried to ignore them, condescend them and spurn them. In the end, they were forced to admire them. Why? Well for starters, Nissan Motor Co. car design and quality control was second to none. Did you know that the 1600 has a reinforced firewall; that in a front end collision, the engine will be pushed below the car? That its rallying prowess can be credited in part to its rear independent suspension with semi-trailing arms? So ultimately, as you consider buying a GTR as many of us aspire to, remember that there is pedigree there which most car companies around the globe are envious of.
  8. 'Twas a nice but not so spectacular 840i
  9. My son took pics tonight with a DSLR + tripod + remote flash. I've PM'd you with regard to accessing his email addy Let's see how this goes hehe...
  10. Look it up. I'm hungry. And it's dinner time! Tapas Union Union Lane Penrith was good on Sat night. Three of us enjoyed 6 dishes. Essentially, it's Spanish, Portugese with a variety of smallgoods + meat dishes > tasty.
  11. Matt my son has a DSLR, so I won't contemplate a cost at this stage Paul. Thanks for being patient. I'll ask him about digital and a friend "jiffo" has mentioned to me already on your behalf.
  12. Hehe... I baulked when I first sighted it Dale. And when I brought the car back, I had to remind the owner to let ourselves to sign off. Hmmm, apparently a car of his got pinched before; and perhaps the thief arrived in an already stolen car of lesser quality. He's an architect; not a lawyer - but I don't know where he got this drawn up. It had a few holes in it - and it still does; but it's the best I can do at the moment. I know for instance that you can't get a 17 year old or at the other end of the scale, an Alzheimer's sufferer to sign such a document.
  13. I signed something similar to this 2 days ago whilst doing a test drive > I've upgraded it. Essentially, it's a 'You break it - you pay for it' contract. If you are selling a vehicle and find this document useful, go for it!

  16. Brett is a naughty boy then... Lol
  17. If you're in Sydney Mike, perhaps you can obtain a 'discard' 285/25/20 & ask Matt if that can be fitted to a rim (albeit very carefully through Matt's contact tyrefitter) > try it on your GT-R?
  18. Well, "forensic" examination it is! If they catch them, the law should bring back the stocks and restrain them in the town square. And after a week of this, they need to earn $$ to pay back every last penny! Thanks for the follow-up find.
  19. Many thanks indeed in advance for... BCNR33-007898
  20. Holistic approach... 1) Body - you might have have a mitral valve dysfunction or it could even be ventricular fibrillation > cardiologist knows. Right now, stay fit - play sport (as Darko alluded to). 2) Mind - you might need to fill up your day with full 'to do' list (as Ash alluded to) and then before bed, make up tomorrow's 'to do' list (as Nick alluded to) 3) Genetics/Biochem - you might optimise you melatonin pathway (as Birds alluded to) with Vit B3 + Taurine + Tryptophan > serotonin > melatonin 4) Spirit - talk to God Q. Wow, have I left anything out? A. Actually, heaps!!!
  21. Propylene Glycol - isn't that stuff in the radiator? Exported from Hiroshima - wasn't that place in the news 67 years ago?
  22. There are a couple of very nice ones under For Sale > Business Traders > JDMAutoLink > Midori & Cusco
