  1. I vote for this to be on the front cover of NRMA's Open Road magazine!
  2. Pollen filter's birthday is real soon. < Celebrations are in order!
  3. With a metal panel, using a paint thickness gauge is vital when restoring. Even between GT-Rs, one has 323 microns to play with on a Bayside Blue VS2... ...compared with only about 80 microns on an N1 - Compliments of Eugene aka JDM_Performance here on SAU Many thanks for sharing a labour of love on a rare Ferrari
  4. If you're using a 28mm bar, I'm already thinking that Heavy Duty links are required too. I used HD links on a Whiteline RSB and one of the D brackets broke - and that's a Whiteline one! I replaced them with Pedders D brackets and haven't had a problem despite hairpin bends at E Blaxland and Hawkesbury Hts. $20.
  5. LUV IT!!! hehe...
  6. JapLink Motors used to do "consignment" for a set fee before their move to Rydalmere. If some other dealer will do that for you and not screw you with scaled percentages - preceded by a detailing fee - just choose someone trustworthy. And keep up your insurance!
  7. If you're a paid up SAU member, ask them for the usual discount
  8. No need for a 2nd opinion if the mechanic is trustworthy as Nick mentioned. How many Kms are you doing/yr? And how many Kms has your car done in total? These answers will indicate whether or not you should attend to the above at the next major service or even before.
  9. And Pedders has a whole range of D brackets (& D bushes too) albeit sold in pairs.
  10. Huh? Oh, it's "than" - not "then"
  11. COR has a lot to answer for. One could lose one's life - not just a car. I'd be interested in a report by a metal fatigue engineer - metalurgist.
  12. I noticed in an old stored Top Gear episode how whilst filming the 007 film Casino Royale, the stuntmen were having trouble unsettling the Aston enough to flip it. They fitted Ziex Lol
  13. Very nice car Very nice stance
  14. Congratulations to you and a really nice R33! Tis good of you and Jason at PI to give SAU a decent mention! Did Eric Tang do your shots? Remember to get an extra copy for your Grandmum
  15. My Urologist had his E46 M3 SMG for 4 weeks before he put it up on the market. Roadfly or BMW Drivers' Club has info on SMG issues...
  16. Good choices > but it's best to get the M3 Manual (due to faults with SMG)
  17. They've started to move now. Paperwork/files were being boxed on the weekend. So I think it best to contact Todd when required and then ascertain where he'll need you to come. Their phone number will be "as per usual" for some time yet.
  18. I Envy !!!
  19. One Of God's Li'l Creations congrats to all
  20. Tried Nanno Maria's last night. Three of us. Not much to write home about except for one exceptional 'dish' who's been here from Milan for only a month.
  21. PM'd you a short list Simon
  22. That's cutting it fine x2 Paul
  23. The XT is a great balance between utility vehicle and performance eh Marko, so long as suspension 'n swaybar components are upgraded. PM'd about prospective vehicle Another pic from Camden last weekend for the masses...
