  1. Probably not the best market to try and get 10grand for plates that would only interest a few people. Maybe try sell them to an R35 GTR dealership or something if you want a quick sale.
  2. It's an R35 GT-R, I know the guy and he is obviously loaded.
  3. It's a HKS fuel cut chipped ECU, would of removed the 180km/h speed limiter and probably made things run a little richer.
  4. While I was importing cars Rezz helped me out alot sourcing some rare parts and even doing a bit of translation, I had a Cima and a GTR and he was invaluable for some hard to come by information, especially the Cima. He was a Japan forum regular and was starting up his own business exporting parts to Australia, does anybody know what happened? I haven't heard from him in over 2 years.
  5. Just so you know my last delivery from nengun took almost 3 months.
  6. I'd drive it. However I made the mistake of driving a RX7 with no more than 50mm of clearance from Townsville to Brisbane in a single night, needless to say pretty much all my suspension bushes were f**ked and I had to purchase a brand new coilover kit.
  7. Doesn't surprise me, so many skyline drivers up here who drive it like it's got the handling of an open wheeler.
  8. Disconnect the negative terminal on your battery before you f**k around with the ECU.
  9. I used to own a Y31 Cima, it was white
  10. If people did die you will see a police release come up in the next day or so http://www.police.qld.gov.au/News+and+Alerts/Media+Releases/
  11. Gavin Woods Auto Tech on the Gold Coast, I believe he has serviced a few R35 GTR's and has been around for years working on the 32's - 34's, 350Z's etc...
  12. There is a dyno in Nambour, Barnes High Performance but I wouldn't go there unless you had a V8.

    Good plates for an RX7
  14. From my understanding they don't have a dyno and subcontract with people in the brisbane area when cars need to be tuned.
  15. Engine management? Power FC? Also a good engineer to mod plate all that stuff especially the high mount turbo.
  16. GTR system is definately not a sequential turbo setup. Easy way to check how your boost is going is go buy a $40 boost gauge and see whats happening, you could have a vac leak or one of your actuators playing up or even worse a turbo problem. If you need to replace them get some HKS 2510/30/40's great turbos.
  17. Some of the best tunes I had on my GT-R were no more than $600 for a power FC. That included dyno printout etc... Never had any problems, this was a couple years ago, don't know if prices have doubled, $1000+ for just a tune on a piggyback like a power FC is a little excessive, it's not a MoTeC.
  18. I had no idea an RB25 sump could handle 8 litres, thats almost double what it should be.
  19. Glad to see you found it, notice a large crack on passenger side windscreen, hopefully one of the scum wasn't wearing their seatbelts and got a good knock to the head.
  20. It depends on how you drive it. Like all cars. The 13B Renesis in the RX8 is very detuned, mainly for emissions so they could sell them in California, US. To be honest though my RX7 makes my old GTR feel like a pig in the corners.
  21. Cops still everywhere, random roadblocks at the Alex/Mooloolaba Hill are quite common (Usually RBT's), car scene here is pretty terrible. Cops seem to love targetting the skylines. I drive a car thats much louder than my GT-R now, and I don't get pulled over, go figure.
