  1. Hey, Gary just wanted to know if they were ever made in the last century, I helped him out with the car name. But yes they are rare.
  2. Mazda Luce 1969-1972 13A two 655 cc rotors. Clutching at straws maybe but they were indeed used in a mass produced FWD car.
  3. Have you noticed a change in your fuel pressure at all?
  4. Ok, So the OP wants 600kw (flywheel or atw we don't know) for a track car. That's just excessive. You'll be breaking traction on RE55's all the way, take the power down a little and work on something that is going to benefit your track car, like canards / diffusers / or even a hollinger, if you have the money for it.
  5. 20B is 11.7 litres and a 2 stroke, Now I've heard it all. I wanted your opinion because you seem knowledgeable but honestly you're just taking the piss now.
  6. Sydneykid, I'd like your opinion on why NOBODY has been able to get an RB series motor into the 6 second bracket or or even close to a 200mph trap speed. While 2JZ, 13B and 20B powered cars seem to dominate the ANDRA Pro-Turbo class.
  7. I'm so glad I sold my GT-R and bought an FD Series 8. It really is a fun car to drive, oh but you won't have ATTESSA to pull you out of those hairy situations, you actually have to drive the car. Oh and you need to know how to change the oil regulary. Apart from that rotary development is still ongoing, PAC recently broke the world record 6.7 @ 200mph+ in the quarter with even MAZDA issuing a press release. http://www.mazda.com.au/About%20Mazda/News...%20Fastest.aspx Ever notice the ANDRA PRO-TURBO class mostly consists of Rotarys and 2JZ's? Where are the RB engines? They're not going to be in the 6's anytime soon, meanwhile Puerto Ricans get 13B's to run 6 second quarters.
  8. It is not stupid it's a solution that I know of several drag cars running 800-900rwhp at only 20psi. Remember the OP never stated what he wanted so much power for. Does he want a responsive track car? a dyno queen? highway warrior? something that runs 10's? More information needs to be posted. All we receieved was an ebay link and an "I want this much power" How long is a piece of string? etc...
  9. Those turbos are tiny for the power you want, A/R .64? Please. For 600kw at the wheels you're looking at some serious horsepower, and a built engine, you'll have to fortify the top end with various JUN / Tomei / Whatever parts and maybe even the bottom end depending on what you're going to be using all that power for. Remember you have an RB26 not a 2JZ lol. Secondly I wouldn't buy my turbos off ebay, I'd buy from a registered Garret dealer where you have things like warranty. If I wanted 600awkw from an RB26 I'd get 2 GT35R's with .82 rear housings from a registered Garret dealer, like Horsepower In A Box. Then I'd find a workshop willing to tune such an animal and an ECU that would be reliable at that level of power, you're going to need a custom fuel setup, at least a 2.5L surge using something like a Carter Gold lifter pump and 2 x Bosch 044's with return lines. I wouldn't bother trying to bore out your engine to a massive 2.8L, is that even possible? Instead you could purchase a stroker kit. This is all going to cost big dollars, I wouldn't undergo this project unless you had at least $25k and a workshop that you could trust.
  10. Had a second hand set of SARD injectors flow tested and cleaned by Mercury Motorsport a while back, don't remember the price but they did a good service on them as they came out good on the tune.
  11. You're 100 right, I got my pressure and temps mixed up, sorry. But yes a sandwich plate will be less accurate for TEMPS not pressure, again must of been drunk when i posted that
  12. Sandwich plate to the oil filter are terrible. If you want an accurate reading mount it in the sump.
  13. Run no BOV, problem solved. Don't get me started on compressor surge, you're not dealing with a 10,000HP rolls royce turbine.
  14. Be prepared to deal with a complicated car that is 20 years old, most of the KM's on the odometers you'll find are not genuine.
  15. Bogancruise, prepare to have the "You're missing a couple of cylinders" thrown at ya.
  16. Get a Bosch 023 or and 040, Bosch 044's are not meant for in-tank setups. Personally I run an 023 lifter to a 3L surge and then two 044's. Walbro I would not touch with a 20 foot pole.
  17. If you're serious about a methanol injection system then you speak with the best, Joe Signorelli.
  18. Was a great day, the PAC MX6, Titan Motorsports and Gas Motorsports all ran 6's... just for qualifying. Look forward to see what they post up for the finals.
  19. Yes the 2JZ powered cars are closing in on the times that V8 doorslammers make, rotarys not that far behind still in the 6 second bracket but need to do some serious catching up. Unfortunately the RB series motor isn't favoured for these quick times.
  20. Street signs are what you're after, I'm not condoning anything illegal though
  21. I blew my stock turbos by accident, way back had an 89 GTR and an old Greddy Profec with the dials, was mucking around with them with no boost guage and left it on some crazy setting for a couple of days, got my power FC hooked up later that week and realised i'd been running almost 2 bar of boost. The turbos died soon after even winding them down to 10psi, I was lucky not to have blown my head gasket. Ah well, when the turbos died it gave me an excuse to get some top end work done and replaced with some brand new HKS 2510's, tiny suckers but I managed to squeez 300awkw out of them.
  22. I use a magnaflow 3 1/2" cat, deals with the heat extremely well, not concerned about emission's because my car would fail anyway.
