Ferni, its exactly the same as the one above. As mentioned its hardly used - replaced with a Trust gearknob shortly after. Its black leather, my gearboot is a little rough so it may not be a good basis for comparison

Malcom: I will keep this extremely breif. While you raise some good valid points, I have to say the way in which you have come across in your above post and your overall tone sucks. As others said, this was not a concourse - this was simple show and shine day. We all realise and appreciate that there are several areas for improvement - at the end of the day everyone involved put in a huge effort to make it happen. While feedback is welcomed, your attitude as apparent in your post certainly isnt.

Moanie, please dont take this as a deliberate targeting of Colin because it most certainly isnt, nor is it a slagging on a "westsider". Several spectators reported a black 180sx which may or may not have been Colins going sideways on the grass. Now you dont just go sideways, as Merli said if you loose traction most people would immediatley take their foot of the gas. Myself and Jeremy also saw a car in your group of cars doing chirpys in the carpark as you were leaving. The problem being this could have a VERY damaging effect to SAU and understandably none of us are impressed. Those who left the marks in the grass know who they are and I hope they realise what they have done.

You idiot. Your comparision between racing in an industrial area and racing at a dedicated drag strip is missing a few minor details. Police are there to protect the publics safety, you cannot brand street racing in an industrial area as responsible, its still a public street. You also neglected the fact that at a drag strip there are facilities in place to deal with any unfortunate incidents that might occur with ambulance and other safety staff permanently onsite and ready to respond immediately if something happens. Now you tell me, what happens if someone has an accident while racing in one of your so called industrial areas without onsite medical attention? :slap:
