  1. Mint. Will have to work out a weekend where I can run my car on the Ace Dyno as I am real curious to compare our curves and outputs. And I am back in Melb soon so reality has just set in. I have two cars and no parking so may need to look at seeing if you have an empty spot at the Man Shed.
  2. The hosts must be frustrated as well. I mean the amount of breaks and rubbish they have to present. The are car nuts as well and bet their hands are tied. Its such a crock that they dont just do a 3min intro and then go to BBC or Sky coverage for the WHOLE event, pre and post race as well as practice and quali sessions. But Channel 10 are failing in all ratings and cant help but think a clown is calling the shots over there
  3. I have decided that Sky and Brundle miss having DC next to him. 3 GPs in and I think I amy revert to BBC coverage with Jake and DC
  4. Dan had a disappointing race. The decision to go 2 stop not paying off
  5. Who is taking bets? Will Webber be allowed to have a go at Vettel?
  6. COME ON WEBBER!!!
  7. Webber getting AIR...YEH BABY!!!
  8. Webber instantly into purple sectors
  9. Nice Mark...clear air and now GO!
  10. If Webber cant win I will be pretty happy with a Schuey win
  11. I really hope Kimi can get a result today. You have to think looking at the front row and the straight line speed of the Mercs, they will have a pack of cars behind them into the first stop and the likes of Webber will need to 3 stop to get soem free air and hammer. Has the potential of being a cracker!!!!
  12. Its no excuse but you have to remember you are paying 1/4cof the price of what Trust want. IF we are lucky thats mostly down to support/service and maybe the occassional quality probpm me your number. If my oil line will fit yours then you can have mine as i never plan on using them
  13. 3-0 Webber for quali. I wonder if Seb will throw his toys out of the pram anytime soon
  14. Yeh, RB30 crank/block, forged rods and pistons, Tomei/Nitto oil pump, aftermarket sump all for less money then even the cheapest RB28 stroker kit is hard to go past. OR you can just be a cheap skate and use an RB26 bottom end for the extra few ccs. If money isnt an option then may as well go an RB32...
  15. Nothing wrong with just buying the turbo you are after and running it on a well tuned RB25 on E85. If you grab something like a 3076 or T67 and throw E85 at it you will make 350rwkws safely and reliably. Sure a stroker will give you more bottom end, but meh... at what cost. If you are doing track work there is thousands to be spent on radiator, oil cooler etc before you worry about a built motor. Also if you are going down the road of a built motor then you need to really look at oil pump, sump etc which in themselves instantly add 2.5-3k to the price of an engine build. The secret to any RB that is going to see prolonged open throttle like you expect at the track is to go to a tuner with a proven track record with circuit cars. IF the engine fails then it will likely just spin a bearing which leaves you with a perfectly usable head and block etc to use for the stroker or RB25/30 build. But I suspect that once you have the std RB25 humming along at that power you wont be worried about building a stroker engine to make 30-60rwkws more at 4,000rpm which is a power band you never really se when you are up it and having a go.
  16. Oh god. Shop somewhere else. If they cant sell you a pad for an R34 GTT then odds are they are going to send you the wrong think even if you tell them the right information
  17. Just saw this now. Sexy boot. Car must be uber fast. Do dry call batteries require battery boxes?
  18. New or 2nd hand I am not fussed
  19. Does the brake master cylinder have 2 ports or 3? (ie is it an ABS or non ABS unit?)
  20. He had his chance. He struggled to match the results of his team mate in F3000. It would have been nice if his team mate wasn't Juan Pablo Montoya and it would have also helped if his engineers spoke english. He generally raced well and made positions, but the problem was Montoya would qualify at the front and his results hosed Lowndes on a whole. I would loved to have seen Power get a chance....he seems to have the gusto that may have meant he had a chance in F1
  21. Does it have the snorkel?
  22. LOL, I know, but the lil RB20 just keeps on rocking. Cant bring myself to replace it when with that money I can go on holidays, or say...buy more brake kits I can't wait to throw the 18G on and see how it compares to the 20G on the lil RB20
  23. But STILL cool! If you have any more old stuff then post then post up. If you happen to have the Gold Coast Sports Sedan support races for Indy then I would kill to see them. The one where Jane Scott puts his Sierra up against Carlins 300ZX
  24. Hey, if I had the option then thats the way I would go as I appreciate they do end up with a better result. I tend to look at the few people that have gone single scroll to twin scroll setup sand looked at the differences. Fair point about the EVOs but you need to factor in the boost differences from the factory, the turbo wheels themselves, the addition of MIVEC to some models, the developments in the heads and cams etc. I am no EVO nut, I leave all that techno fluff to my mate...but I think the engine and wheels the later models are running has more influence then the twin scroll. But I would take it if I could, expecially on a 6 cylinder where on paper it will have more merit then a 4 cylinder edit...if you can find a T3 twin scroll housing that will fit onto my TD06 then will throw it on my car with the HKS manifold. Pretty sure that manifold is going on my new cheater motor. But i think if the 73HTA works well then I will end up with a 76HTA FP twin scroll on my chook cooker
  25. The results I posted are not a GTX3076. LOL I hope he doesn't mind me posting pics. Dont really agree that the twin scroll makes up for a big difference. If anything its the 1:06 housing that makes a difference to what you would normally see as at 120km/t it made the same power as my car (we use different wheel sizes so that factors into it) .
