  1. I have a huge weakness for Irish girls. I should lock myself up for the night
  2. Tap a thread into the housing and measure the back pressure
  3. What is going on at 4,750rpm?
  4. And on Monday we get to see Kimi on Top Gear. The leaked bits of footage look GOOD
  5. Why the change from Nistune to Vipec? I Interested to know what cams you are looking at as well. I would be tempted to stick with the std inelt cam and go baby 256 exhaust cam
  6. I guess I am flying back from Sydney this weekend rather than driving?
  7. Laser cutter? Like I mentioned earlier, if you laser cut the main plate, then what are effecively thick ass washers to match the thickness of your hub then those setups often cause vibrations in the pedal as tolerances are far easier to get wrong. Well thats been my experience at least with some R33s I have driven with that setup. Its just a note of caution as people have been able to get the setup to work fine.....but is another reason why I like the UAS one piece machined ones
  8. Which one and which dimension do you need?
  9. Simon's car is an animal and makes whatever power it does...its a big number because the thing runs 11 flat on the quarter and blitzes around race tracks. He has various dyno sheets from various shops where the car has been run. He runs a 50:50 E85 mix, so that helps with power, but still not a full E85 tune (is there much difference in outright power? I got no idea...but I know its helping his power over std 98) I think it was a dynapak that put it at 410rwkws. A dyno dynamics put it at 480rwhp (or 360rwkws)...so as BSA GTScoT and others have been saying...do your own research and look at other sources rather then just SAU. If you want 350rwkws from an RB25 I think you need to push a 25G based turbo.
  10. Is that a fair statement? An easy 350rwkws on 98? I suspect it would take 20-22psi on a well tuned RB25 to make that power....I still go by Dyno Dynamics numbers...I dont know if that makes a difference but I think you can say the T67 and TD06H-25G will both make an easy 310rwkws at 16-17psi. The "H" version may make in the vicinity of up to 10-15rwks more? I am not sure that going to a bigger exhaust housing will also give you significantly more power as the 10cm doesnt appear to be a restriction. Agree that if you went from a restrictive housing to a more free flowing housing you would bet results. I suppose I am a bit of a scratched record but think we should all be careful about throwing numbers around, especially numbers that may be a little high
  11. Cam gears , not cams! I have not heard of too many RB25s not responding well to cam gears on std cams. As for dyno sheets? Hell man, we are talking around 2004-2005 when he made a custom inlet cam gear that could be adjusted as part of all his trial and error. It was all for 0 anyway as the setup worked best set at 0 and the exhaust side retarded a little using his off the shelf HKS exhaust cam gear
  12. The McLaren in civies looks ok...but not amazing. But, FARK ME it isnt the horniest piece of kit when in its war paint
  13. Really? OK, I stand corrected. Everything I have ever read suggested that the RB26 and RB25 were the most responsive to cam gears, (a friend played with custom inlet cam gear on a NEO and got nothing from it...but an adjustable cam gear worked well on his exhaust side)...and RB20s respond well, but not as well as its bigger cc cousins. I have read that cam gears were a waste of time and money if you were running Poncams. But...can't say I have paid too much attention to it the last 5 years...it used to be a golden rule
  14. Get some cam gears on there. No RB should be without cam gears!
  15. Same but different ... very different
  16. So nobody else finds it interesting that Liuzzi is standing behind the car? He was pretty vocal when he lost his seat. Seems he is still in the wings and involved in one shape or form
  17. What is full boost? 15psi? Do you have cam gears?
  18. Does anyone else notice anything odd in the back of this pic? Its a good looking car
  19. If you have Z32 or R32 GTSt calipers, as std they run 280mm rotors. R33 GTS25T and R32 GTR calipers have longer lugs to suit the larger diam 296mm rotors so if you were to use those brackets with R32 GTR calipers then the fit would be an absolute abomination, like posted above they are more suited to a 337-340mm rotor
  20. Hi, need some advice on brands. My car had central locking that was working fine but they are now flogged out after being incorrectly re-installed after side intrusion bars were recently welded in. Well, at least thats what I think it was as they no longer have enough grunt to fully stroke open and closed. So what is the best brand of solenoid. I just want to be sure that they stroke well and I can safeyl turn my back on the car knowing the doors are locked (The car is an old Ford Sierra) For instance...are these any good? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-STRONG-UNIVERSAL-DOOR-ACTUATOR-MOTOR-CENTRAL-LOCKING-/170788799056?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27c3ce4250#ht_699wt_1037
  21. Just buy these.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/385995-fs-330mm-big-brake-kit/page__p__6260824__hl__brake__fromsearch__1#entry6260824 $350 is a steal. By the time you mess around with someone machining them up and finding out they don't fit correctly blah, blah, blah...if they bolt on with simple cutting of backing plate then its a good deal. Many of the cheaper R33 kits are 3 piece brackets and that in my eyes is pretty nasty compared to the one piece UAS ones
  22. Well, Vettel has had some work done over the off season. I hardly recognised him
  23. I hope nothing expensive happened on Lap 22
  24. So is there any difference in pressure or flow? Are Spool ones the same as what you are running?
  25. Well done Dezz...you just earnt yourself a punch in the cock
