  1. I was joking, I have no idea where any of this stuff is made.
  2. Will be interesting to see the difference. I only have road speed graphs which normally look ok ithrough the mid due to the shorter gearing and 17" wheels. This is my current one, running Plazmaman, 6boost and the difference is 98 and ARC cooler vs 100 and R34 GTR cooler. This gives you an idea of how much I lost with the Plazmaman and 6boost manifold LOL, so looking at the above graph you may start to understand why sometimes I seem like an argumentative bastard with looking to quantify results or asking questions. I have spent about 2k on manifold changes only to lose power and response and make the car more sensitive to ignition and detonation
  3. Will be interesting to see what it makes at 18psi vs 20psi vs 22psi. (hint, hint )
  4. Ok predictions! My 2c. From fastest to slowest teams for quali. RBR > McLaren > Lotus > Mercedes > Fezz > FI > Sauber. My prediction for top 3 in Quali : Vettel, Button & Webber Top 3 Race : Webber, Button & Kimi And of course real interested to see if Diso Dan hands it to the young Frog
  5. They should line them up for a 5 lap race! That would be a spectacle. The Superlap thing can be quali But agree, with regards to entry the event certainly isnt for everyone. But as a punter it will be a good weekend/spectacle. I just hope the local lads can get some meaningful kms on their cars during the year and take it to the blow ins
  6. Yeh, I will have trouble supporting Rick but I dont mind Tod and I have to say Greg Murphy is probably the only guy along with Lowndes currently running around that I like. So for the sake of Murphy I hope the Nissan move for Kelly Racing is a good thing
  7. ARC...now made in China so we can actually turn a profit and keep the doors open
  8. Maraussia...if it didnt have such a shit paint job it would actually be one of the better looking cars. I wonder if its front end has anything to do with their technical tie up with McLaren?
  9. Was meant to pick up my car last weekend. Instead its still lounging around Sydney so going to miss this day as well
  10. Meh, the RB20 couldnt spin the 25G compressor wheel let alone its rear wheels Must be something about being a white R33 and packing T51 grunt
  11. LOL, I wish it had a brutal hit The car that I drove years ago that made me go TD06-20G was an 180SX Jap Drift car and it did come on harder then the RB20...but wasnt as brutal as say an RB25 with HKS 3040...that came on HARD! Re the low boost Honda. As a rough guide my thing makes 180rwks at 8psi. 225rwkws at 14psi and 260rwkws at 19psi...roughly. So they work ok at lower pressure ratios giving you a decent gain per psi even at low boost
  12. I seriously hope they release it with a different name. What in the hell are they thinking with a name like that
  13. Ok, then she may let me eat the cheese of her taco but I would still be fortunate for any return service.
  14. OH MY! I all of a sudden want tyre baking goodness
  15. So, are you going to give me the goss on tight ass billet oil pump gears? This new turbo of mine is meant to be effecient at 1.8bar (on Evos anyway) so think I may throw an oil pump on the old girl before I give her E85, and 28-30psi I cant have the Ford running more boost than my Nissan
  16. Great event. Cars struggled with conditions though... Promo girls struggled with the weather.
  17. If I knew it was heading to the strip club I would have jumped in. So is this going to be another E85 missile or more a 98 build? Good to see you were able to save the alloy RB20 race block!
  18. So entry, tyres, fuel, accom etc or another OS car holiday? Hmmmm, I doubt my car would make it throught he fashion police requirement anyway I have only attended the first Oran Park event so would love to spectate and barrack for Russ in his cheater spec GTSt
  19. Diffence in opinion I will add what quantity do you think these are getting made in? I hear what you are saying, but it is likely to be quantities less then 10. Most shops would try and minimise the amount of dollars they have caught up in inventory. Anyway, its a mute point. My perspective is if you are a business then you price a product to what the market will pay. And the average punter wont be able to do it much cheaper. Hell most punters wont be able to install the kit let along fabricate their own. The beauty of forums are that you can learn so much and follow the DIY path. If you think its a rip and can do it cheaper then go for it. There is a guy (too much boost) selling a kit like this from SBS at the moment for a song at $500 inc rotors, calipers and mounts. just go buy that and sell your current calipers to an S13 owner. My thoughts are the 280mm kit is superior to the 296 kit anyways.
  20. Nice post but wrong thread
  21. Who gives a shit. They have been ugly for years now. If my boy Mark has a cracker of a season with 3 or 4 GP wins than I am happy. For the first time ever I am interested to hear what Vetool calls his car this year. Ugly Ursula?
  22. I'd give it a nudge. I am no oil painting so all things considered I would be honoured if she stooped so low
  23. Interesting to see the results. Good work on giving it a go. I would think you could get away with milling out all the centre/bridge and drilling and tapping an additional bolt hole for mounting a big bellmouth dump pipe. Or are you going to try and split the the gate and turbine gases?
  24. What, a petulant ignoramis that runs people off the road? I get what you are saying about braking 100%/as hard as you can, but its an ideal and impossible to achieve. But a good consideration when you are going around and around that you should try and minimise the time spent free wheeling around the track. Maximise the amount of time on the loud pedal and minimise the amount of time on the middle pedal
  25. I recommend people ring a few machine shops and get some hourly rates from them. Unless you have a mate with the tools required who will do it for a case of beer, you will be in for a rude shock. $350 is pretty good value. I will guess and break it down. $100 in material inc wastage which you have to pay for. That leaves $250 for labour, which is $125 each. So you think it can be done in less then an hour each...inc anodising? Sure they are not cheap, but they are reasonably priced and having done these adaptors loads of time myself....you will be hard pressed to do it cheaper and get a known end result. My opinion only
