Well when the controller hangs it doesnt capture that vid so that supports your experiences Snowie. Oh well, will just have to go back next year and do it again (maybe sooner)

The quality of the Radcam footage is great, but mine seems to be hanging from time to time and there are some files that whilst recorded wont play. I get an error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." I supsect its related to the hanging, but when it hangs it does not seem to be related to the files that dont view?!?! Som will play with it a little more and speak to the supplier when i get home. Was gutted that the file from the only session i got on semis in the Lotus does not play. But, as Count says, it just means I can talk up all the cars I was hammering by...but it was the best 10 laps of my life, living bumper to bumper with Gallardos, Scuderias, GT3RS etc in a little gripped up Lotus with more corner speed then them would have made for some pretty cool footage

What is it with people or technology trying to fark me in the ass. Trust me when i say I was awsome at the Ring and Spa....shame only about 1/2 the footage was captured So its nothing more then my usual Hot Air talk I am drunk and crook so cancelling the last few days of my holidays and heading back to UK for some R&R. But, I am MEGA pissed off that other peoples bad organisation, OR technical glitches with my cameras compounded what little running we got with the fact that we didnt get any footage of it

How does your Speads bus compare to say a Juno, Westfield XTR-2 etc ...you have already hinted that its better then a Radical?

Everything is way too expensive in Australia. I was shocked last year when i looked at what the local distributer is trying to charge for an R400 Caterham. No wonder hey never sell any...ditto Radicals....mark up seems huge, its either that or taxes. How is your crazy race car coming along?

See, lol that's why I am so envious of all UK guys. They have the coolest tracks, live next door to them...they have a huge motorsport industry with a booming track day market based on the amount of Caterhams, Atoms etc that are sold every year. Based on past open pit lane days I thought there is no better way to run a track day. With a frustrating amount of the day spent like this.... or red flagged after only 2 laps or so....it was hard to be patient when this is the only chance in the near term I will have of driving the place

But they dont sound as good as the Ferrari V12s of the early 90s...V10s of recent....inline fours wsith turbos are going to sound angry but lame in comparison

Chuckie...I was told by one of the instructors that if you are in a top tier racing category then the new Silverstone layout isnt as good. But for 80% of the racing there the new layout is more involving and better to race at. I am thinking of doing Snetterton next week as well but have to see how I go with making plans with some friends who are trying to free up time to do some travel in Croatia etc with me And forget being jealous....nobody wanted to swap positions with me when I was working in India for 2 years

I cant see there being any difference but your setup is not CP5555, they are the 6 pots as DJ posted. Yours are 4 pot, perhaps they are CP5200

Look on the bright side. Within 3 years of the turbos return to F1 can you imagine the aerodynamics of the turbos we can buy. Imagine variable geometry, twin scroll titanium wheeled turbos that make my RB20 grunt like a 3L

Instruction booklet? One question....does the camera had a max time record setting? I came in one session and the camera was already stopped. I thought i may have hot the remote in my pocket by accident...bit far fetches but could not explain it....maybe find the instruction booklet

Ring is a Sirocco on Friday, then sharing Barons M3 on Satuday. Then Spa in an Exige 240 on Tuesday after the Italian GP. I am meant to be in Germany today but still resting up as its going to be a busy 5 days!
