  18. Just get some custom steel side mounts made that offset the seat forwards and then partner that with a steel base frame with two pre-drilled sets of holes so you just un do 4 nuts/bolts and move the whole thing forward. You may end up having to have two sets of locations on the side mounts as well
  19. I never drove the old layout. But if its worse then before it would have been out of this world. The instructor i had and a few Italians who flew over for the day all said they preferred the new layout to drive One thing i will understand when i watch races at Silverstone from now on is the cross wind. At times it was almost ripping my helmet off ...
  20. Actually, looking at the date and the cars on track, this was Sunday ? I was there yesterday with Gold Track on Monday. Looks as though there is about the same amount of traffic. And there was only one R33 GTR (+R35 GTR was also in attendance) attending my day. Bit surprised there were so few Nissans, EVOs, and STIs..any hard top for that matter. Way too many GT3, GT2s and Radicals etc
  21. LOL, no way. That was you? I saw your car, I was in a Caterham. Was going to come up and say hello "I am from Australia, where are all the Skylines? " Bugger!
  22. I tried a few different arrangments. And reviewing all the vids this morning you are right. The first run i did not use an external mic and just had the hand unit strapped to the passenger seat. It seems fine. Perhaps should ot have mounted it so close to the harnesses which just flap around at speed. Thats part of the noise i thought was wind noise. The run with the external mic up under the dash with no sock is far the worst. The run with my ipod headphone foam thinkgies on the mic seems to be maybe just better then the internal mic. So I guess thats what you get when trying to listen to a crappy laptop speaker at a track day with cars deafening you...maybe shoudl have jsut stuck with the internal mic.
  23. Well, I will post up the Radcam footage in a few days...and will post last years POV footage in a Caterham vs Radcam in a Caterham from today. Basically..Radcam kills it! Sound is a bit funny, took a while to get decent sound, the mic needs a sock for sure to drown out background noise
  24. Either you have a TD06 on an RB25DE and you dont realise you dont have an RB20...or its a type and you meant 4200rpm...or something else is going on. I know of a few TD06 setups getting around now and there is no way on earth most people are making 16-20psi at 3,400rpm and still making 270rwkws. Interesting for Femno and Russman to drive my car with a TD06-20G when i get back on October. The 2530 is a good thing, but i am still tempted to say the slightly laggier TD06-20G is worth living with for the wider power band and 30rwkws odd more power it can give you. I am making about 19psi at 4,400rpm or something. But really, it doesnt get its boogie on until about 4,600rpm, irrespective what the boost guage says Bu agree with URAS, combination of wheel sizes and housings mean its probably a turbo better off an RB25, not a lower compression, shorter stroke smaller cc RB20
  25. I had a big post of the silly adventures of its first night of use...but really. It didnt read well and didnt show me in good light ...and nobody cares....but basically. Radcam works well when sober. Makes sure you are familiar with its operation sober before piloting it drunk! But it arrived after paying the UK govt a bribe, i mean a tax and now all set for Monday!
