  1. http://sau.ferni.net/DECA/0915_Aug09/DECA15_8_09ES.pdf That should give you a good idea.
  2. Do it. We were all bitching last time about how S15 drivers are too scared to scratch their paint.
  3. I booked there too. If you see a lonely kid (I'm not, just look young) wandering around come say hi.
  4. Paid! Will fax details tomorrow.
  5. Yes! It's all about having fun.
  6. Good to see that you're not deterred!
  7. Yeah, it's real easy. Just fill the form out before the day itself.
  8. What he said. Woop!
  9. People staying: Fri & Sat Bec Ryan Mick Tim Kieran Robinson Chris McColgan Gary Swift Colin Clark Chuck us four in the same room if you can please, might be difficult considering none of us want to sleep in the same bed. Definitely doing skittle bombs! Its the least we can do considering all the effort you go to for us.
  10. Pick a place I'll book there too, whichever is cheaper
  11. Any news on the accomodation? I've got to work the Sunday so I'll only be staying the Friday night, I'll stick around for a bit afterwards though. Anyone looking for a room mate on the Friday night? Promise I don't snore!
  12. Hey guys, I'm about to take my car to get the wheels realigned, just wondering how long does it normally take? Is it a quick job that I can sit around and wait for or should I get someone to come with me so they can drive me home? Sorry for the noob question. Cheers.
  13. The lock button on my (only) remote for the car is dying. I've pulled the thing a part dozens of times, replaced the batteries, everything. The guy at the battery shop took a good look at it too and he reckons there's a crack in the circuit board somewhere. I'm pretty sure this alarm came with the car from Japan. The remote itself is very old, and I can't see any sort of brand anywhere on the remote or the unit itself. So my question is: are there any universal remotes that can somehow be programed to match my system's frequency and code, or am I doomed to buy a new one? Cheers.
  14. Just go the 12". I had one in my 33 (with the Alpine ported box that you can buy with it) and it fitted neatly in my boot. Took up about one half exactly. They're an excellent sub, I wouldn't worry about them not being as "tight" as others are saying, they're still a quality sub. Although if it were me, I'd buy a JL Audio one. Only about $100 more, same RMS and literally punches twice as hard.
  15. So what's the plan afterwards? Similar to DECA, i.e ridiculous amounts of alcohol mixed with a twist of soggy popcorn? Trying to workout whether or not I should stay the night or drive back. My mate isn't coming this time so I won't really know anyone. You guys won't try and take advantage of me will you?
  16. This is the reason I won't drive with a large vehicle behind me. I'll cruise behind a truck happily, even if I can't see shit, but I hate having them behind me.
  17. iPods are the devil. Was driving to Geelong late one night (like 2-3am) on the M1 and was trying to find a particular song. I swear I only glanced down for a second, but you can very quickly become distracted even if it is for only a moment longer. Looked up and I was literally about 1meter from the left hand side of the road, which is pretty bad considering I was driving in the right lane. Was an a 30% angle too, doing 100kph. Scared the crap out of me.
  18. I getting my full system (extractors through to muffler) done by fastfit. IMO exhausts really aren't that difficult nor do they pose any great risk to your car if they're not installed correctly. Just get any "brand name" muffler joint to do it.
  19. Photos help.
  20. Alright, forms filled, sent and paid. Feeling less nervous and more excited this time than I did at DECA!
  21. Oh man. I tried that once, the big nasty crack on the left hand side of the front bar is from me misjudging and rolling the car off the blocks and the blocks then catching the car by the bar itself. I'm not fussed to be honest, I doubt it'll make a huge difference on my NA beast, but it'd be fun to make those fireballs
  22. Yeah of course. I've heard it's some ridiculous fine for not have a cat. I might actually need help, I have a jack and stands but it cant lift the car high enough (with the bloody kit on it) to get under there. Although this stupid front bar will be definitely be gone by then. Whether or not it's yellow or black still is another story. Alright, you've convinced me. I'm in. Driver Training and Novice class right?
  23. So you reckon my 2.5" straight exhaust with extractors and decat pipe (great idea btw ) will pass?
  24. How loud is 95dB at 30meters? Quite loud? I can't imagine many WRXs or other imports for that matter passing that test.
  25. Damn. So wait. 26 = 4 rotor. 26*2.5 = 65 = 10 rotor. So it's a 65C (don't ask me where I got 90 from before, lol). No going by the earlier theory that a 13B is really a 3.9L piston equivalent. This means that the 6.5L rotary is really a 19.5L engine. Now if you could actually fit a 19.5L engine into a car, tell me it wouldn't annihilate everything.
