  1. Nice to catch up with you James. Good meeting you Rod + your friend Mike in the Soarer and the other 2 in the Silvia. Yeah Andrew, nice to meet you too! LOL! @ GTR buddies.
  2. Is it a manual this time, Juliette?
  3. Like the very end of Bourke St. Yeah... Might get some pics too!
  4. Hehe! My name Jamie So is it basically behind Etihad Stadium?
  5. ^^ Thanks Tom. Maybe we should make my post a 'Sticky'... Save me typing it again.
  6. Sound good. So just a meet up to chat and catch up? Might as well come on down.
  7. OMG BBQ FTW! Yeah that be cool!
  8. Whoo! New windscreen! At least I can drive it.
  9. A standard R34 GTR is the base model. R34 GTR V-Spec = Standard R34 GTR but came with ATTESA E-TS Pro system and an Active LSD at the rear. Had harder suspension and lower ride height. A plastic front air diffuser (covering the underside of the engine) and also a rear carbon fiber air diffuser, designed to keep air flowing smoothly under the car. The Multifunction Display (MFD) had two extra features to the display: Intake and Exhaust Temperatures. Ceramic twin turbo's. R34 GTR V-Spec II = As above + an increase of hardness to the suspension and larger disk brakes on the rear. OEM carbon fiber bonnet with an NACA Air Duct to vent air to the turbo side of the engine. Iridium center console and aluminium pedals. (Just for looks) Seat interior colour were black rather then gray, which was used on previous R34 GT-R models. Indicator lenses were replaced with white / clear instead of amber / orange. Ceramic twin turbo's. R34 GTR V-Spec II N1 = As above but RB26DETT was refined. The water cooling channels in the block were enhanced to increase flow. The block and internal components were strengthened. The pistons have 1.2 mm (0.047 in) top rings but otherwise as standard. The connecting rods and the crankshaft are standard but balanced, crankshaft was further refined as to the R33 GTR N1. The specifications of the camshafts were also improved for power and further refined as to the R33 GTR N1. The N1 had an upgraded oil and water pump, to improve the cooling and lubrication. N1 Twin Turbo's = Steel internals with ball bearings, more responsive and a factory boost increase of 1.2 Bar (17.4 Psi) as opposed to the standard R34 GTR's / V-Spec's / V-Spec II's, which is about +0.7 (10.1 Psi) / +0.8 Bar (11.6 Psi). ABS, air conditioning, radio / cd, rear wiper and carpet in the boot were all removed to save weight. Very rare R34 GTR. R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur = As above but WITH ABS, air conditioning, radio / cd, rear wiper and carpet in the boot. Different colour stitching on the interior trim as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h. Was released in a Millennium Jade colour along with the Cam / Rocker / Engine cover as opposed to the Other R34 GTR's with a Red colour. Also released in other colours as well. As for power differences in between all the R34 GTR's, they were all claimed to be 206 kW's from factory but realistically the R34 GTR N1's and Nur's would be higher then the standard R34 GTR / V-Spec / V-Spec II's, due to the refinement of the RB26DETT and the boost increase. R34 GTR M-Spec = R34 GTR V-Spec but with "Ripple control" dampers to soften the suspension for a more comfortable ride. Leather interior with heated front seats. R34 GTR M-Spec Nur = R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur + with "Ripple control" dampers to soften the suspension for a more comfortable ride. Leather interior with heated front seats. R34 GTR M-Spec and the M-Spec Nur were both quite rare and was also released in a specific colour called Champagne Gold + Millennium Jade.
  10. You have a point there "Mr. RH9". BTW didn't you use to be Dirt Garage? To the OP, if you ask the CA18 enthusiast, CA18 = RB26 of the Silvia world. 1 tuff engine. Having said that, I don't mind a SR20 either.
  11. Munkyb0y the bosozoku GTR looks sic!
  12. ^^ The FD RX7 is nice! Tommi Kaira ZZII
  13. Hah! Will see when I take it to the panel beaters. I counted about 7 but there is about 8 x 20c sized dents on it. It's a matter of how server the dents are, either they pop'em out or panel beaters work their way on it or if it is better off changing the bonnet. Will let you know after I get back from the panel beaters. New windscreen tomorrow, 1st thing in the morning... At least I can drive it.
  14. I know yeah! Thanks for your PM! I will look into it.
  15. Thank fuck insurance is paying up! Just gota get the windscreen fixed, pay for it, Just Cars will Re-enburst the cost. Got my Claim Number just then, now need a quote on the panel damage from any panel beater, Just Cars will give the Go Ahead and all I have to pay is $500 excess. A 2nd hand bonnet alone would have cost $500+
  16. ^^ Good post there Jimmy! But it is actually called the Nismo Sideskirt / Bodykit as opposed to N1. The kit you posted under N1 was released on the R32 GTR Nismo Editions. R32 GTR N1's may or maynot have came out with the Nismo Kit.
  17. Cheers! But I called just before and they are also open tomorrow. Let you know how it goes.
  18. I think your insurance will cover for a windscreen. http://www.dentaway.com.au/prices.html PRICING ESTIMATES Small dent or crease: (size of 10 cent to 20 cent piece) $100 inc GST Medium dent or crease: (size of 20 cent to 50cent piece) $140 inc GST I got about 7 dents on my bonnet... 7 Dents = $700! 3 Dents on the Roof = $300 1 Dent on the Front Left Guard = $140 TOTAL = $1140 Might as well buy a decent 2nd bonnet / guard.
  19. Hope all is good for you man!
  20. ^^ Paintless Dent Removal ppl, would be the first to call up, I guess. Just do a internet search and see how you go.
  21. Yeah right... How did your car go?
  22. Will have to call Just Cars on Tuesday and see how I go.
