  1. I had a HKS Twin Plate. It was either IN or OUT... no play, so parking was annoying. I was told Twins are not good for daily driving because its purpose was to take hard launches or racing applications. True?
  2. Fastest in what? 0-100 Km/h? Quater mile? Couldn't tell you who's the fastest but from memory WHEELS and SPEED Magazine did an artical on the R32 GTR and they ran 0-100Km/h in 5.3 secs and 13.7sec down the quater mile. Car was stock. But there have been websites say the R32 GTR can run 0-100Km/h in 4.9 sec and a quater mile in 12.8 secs. Iam sure its posible but I will need some publication proof not some website made by GTR fans.
  3. Approx Fuel can easily get up to $80 per tank = per week, depending how heavy your foot is. Insurance = $1200 + $500 or so on rego = per year, I pay at the moment. Maintanace + Parts, depending what needs to be done, its gonna cost to get it fixed.
  4. LOL! Man this will cause a massive stir on the USA forums. There is one at the moment on www.Fast-Autos.net USA ppl = Z06 FTW and fight to the death to defend it.
  5. It's good how the engine is back in again. I remember when building my R34 GTR there was no engine and some ppl went to the effort of buy the R32 GTR just to take the engine out of that and put it into the R34. When I get mine I gonna put a V-Spec theme to it.
  6. LOL! Free oil eh! NICE! Ah well if its free then, hell yeah! Change it when you feel like it.
  7. Geez man looks nice. I would have thought the GT was the higher spec but you seem to get more out of the R1 engine... Seems the GT has a higher output and the R1 looks like a smoother curve in the long run as you pictured. I'll have to get my dad to translate the page for me to see if they do say anything about the GT's torque. Again, its ver nice!
  8. Are you friggin serious?! I love that engine! Or well any engine built by Nismo. Man just leave it as it is, no mods needed as it is already rebuit using top quality Nismo parts (I believe) There is S-Tune Sports Resetting S-Tune S1 R-Tune R1 F-Sport GT Z-Tune
  9. V-Spec II eh... Yeah still nice! Well done! Post them pics and guess you can save some money on the mods. Hehe!
  10. Mind you tommis85 you want your car lighty mod. So is your R33 GTR going to be for track or a street / daily as well. Cause one modification will lead to another. Haha! Then you probley want more power = mildly modded, then your addicted = heavily modded. But yeah anyway just keep in mind and will see how far you go.
  11. ^^ Ah yeah, you need good grip. Upgrade the wheels and get some nice, top quality rubber on them.
  12. Don't worry about the BOV, you won't need it. Standard will do. Just put an air pod on to get the nice and crisp "Choo" noise.
  13. Ah man! I want one! Did you get 2 of them? When I get mine Iam gonna paint it White and do a few alterations to the paint scheme and probley modify the exhaust with some metal pipes.
  14. Change it every 5000km's and the oil filter at the same time. I have also heard of ppl changing at 3000km's but thats just being pedantic LOL!
  15. You can buy the heat proof paint at auto barn for like $12. It can take up to like 650 degree C or whatever... Ppl paint exhaust mainfolds with them and it will be fine to paint you rocker cover. Clean down the surface / sand down and apply the paint. SAU member RSPEC painted his rocker cover and then I went and painted my Inlet Plenum. Looks nice.
  16. Easy to take advantage of the power of a RB26, just the usual Air filter / air pods full exhaust system boost controller to give it that safe few extra Psi. You gota strut brace? Upgrade the suspension to give a firmer / better cornering handling.
  17. So no need to remove anything else, just the bolts and nuts..?
  18. When you gota pod filter on, it will make that sucking noise. Its what a pod does. No point putting a boost controller in to lower the boost on your stock turbo. (BTW Your turbo is stock right?) I like have the sucking noise with my car, sounds great!
  19. Ah hell yeah! So where is the exhibition? In his garage... LOL!
  20. I see... Stealerships? Point I was getting at is, one time I took a car in for a service and they didn't change my oil filter, I knew cuz I dated it on the filter and after the service it was still there. No Change. = Lazy / don't bother / forgot to do it, whatever. So I take it to my local mechanic who does a lot better job and knows what he's doing.
  21. LOL! Is that your car?! Haha! Yeah not a fan of orange. Keep the car black like the spoiler.
  22. Sounds suspicious to me... No one will start a thread like this. Just to "Show me their car and explain all the good & bad bits. JDMST might be having a meet over Queens Birthday long weekend" ...
  23. There is nothing wrong with your Bayside Blue body colour, leave it as it is. I would preffer that IMO.
  24. I really like the S15's, such a nice car with a Origin / Vertex body kit but I am yet to drive one. Hopfully ask my friend to take his for a spin as he just got it back. They are 2 different cars, 2.5lt straight 6 turbo VS 2lt inline 4 turbo, I guess petrol wise the S15 would be nicer and parts would be cheaper. I say just test drive one yourself and notice the difference for yourself.
