  1. Cool Basti Yeah I didn't bring the camera, but a few other ppl were taking pics. Mmmm... R34NRG's R34. All the goodies on that car LOL!
  2. Hey man we really wanted to see you Toyota Carolla, me and LEANBAC were telling few new members how it looked like a fully done up old skool late 70's GTR. HAHAHA!!! Ah yeah Lauz_90 was saying you were pumping, I don't know, someones guards. I thought you were all pump your guards Adam. Man how many sets of rims does Abu want? He has probley got a Showroom full of wheels now. LOL!
  3. Looks tuff, R34 GTR stock rims are one of my fav. R34's can look sweet without the spoiler and look just as well with it on. Just don't get that Nismo "Shopping Trolley" spoiler LOL! I would probley lower it too, just a bit cause I think you might need a bit of clearance so the tyres don't rub. But see how low you can get it. Good stuff!
  4. Thats probley a better idea, as in everything is there. All you need to do is take it to the track. Hey man! LOL! J's, I havent heard about them in years. There is a lot of Q's and usual K's but J's... If they are very cheap and if you can source a SR20DET, then again probley another cheaper option. If what you say about truck tyres is true, then thats a smaller hole in you wallet. LOL! I go for that. ALSO I was told that a CA18DET is a bit more stronger than a SR20DET... Appently the SR20DET is a "board out" CA18DET so the walls in the block are thiner, hence easier to crack if pushed too hard. CA18DET = thicker walls, hence stronger... But you gain a bit more torque with the 2lt as opposed to the 1.8lt... True? If so I guess save a bit more cash and get a CA18DET if cheaper, which I assume.
  5. Where we at the Pizza place in Kings Way Me and Basti got a bit lost too, just as well I met up with him in the service lane down Kings Way and I gave LEANBAC a call cuz he and Lauz_90 where at Dandenong FWY. Those 2 met us down Kings way and we all parked and went got pizza.
  6. Iam wanting to do this too. But money is the base of drift, unless your sponsered LOL! I was thinking just buy a Stock Nissan Silvia S13 K's, upgrade the suspension, Wheels / tyres, strut brace and brakes and start drifting, get use to the car and learn the drifting techniques then start upgrading the engine and push the limit a bit further.
  7. What a great meet up! East side was awesome with over 30 cars all crusing down. Thanks to dezz and LEANBAC you 2 did a great job organising and good to see R31Nismoid, Kaz180 and a few more of the excutive members. Sorry I didn't get your names. Pizza was great and some funny things can happen at night. We all had a good laught. Also would have been good to see a few more memebers abu Taxi33 adam-__- Revhed01 gtrzilla Dogknight (Yeah I know you were not up for it) So guys what were you all doing last night... LOL!
  8. Buddy, its FUN! Drove a R33 GTR with all the bolt on goodies. Cause it had low mount twin turbos, the response was there and a smooth rev from 3000 RPM to 7500 / 8000 RPM. Same with a V-Spec II Nur I drove as well, again tuned at about 300 awkw, VERY Refined.
  9. I see guess depends how hard you wanna take your car. I have driven cars with 303 awkw and the temps seems fine. Then you might aswell upgrade your radiator LOL!
  10. Going by Nengun's website, Oil Coolers range from HKS Type S = $479.79 HKS Type R = $644.77 BLITZ = $918.20 TRUST = $780.69 Unless for track work and / or moderate spirited runs like what jenkies does, I don't see the point for just normal street use but it doesn't hurt to have one I guess.
  11. +1 It frees up the exhaust flow allowing it flow quicker in resulting the car performing a lot smoother.
  12. Ah ok I thought you wanted to do a comparison like the ppl in Califonia USA... opps LOL!
  13. 'Cali-style'..? Like USA? I talk on Fast-autos.net and they do a lot of comparisons. What did you want to compare with you Skyline?
  14. LOL! Last 3 years... Garbage. Guess shes not getting a Mini again. POS! Try these guys, they could help her out... http://www.miniparts.com.au/ http://www.britcar.com.au/default.htm
  15. I have the N1 Slots, they look nice and it gives the car, kinda subtle at the same time tuff look. They also feed air to your intercooler.
  16. Yeah I'm going if Ferah's going too!!! LOL! Popular girl on SAU. And yeah I'm already there. Basti you still coming out?
  17. True that, hard to spot a TT Supra. Kamakaze has a TT Supra for $24,990 atm and N/A from $19 000 to $14 000.
  18. Nice man Tops it of really well. BTW is your exhaust a 'Nissan Factory Option' one? Like a exhaust upgrade but a Nissan one..?
  19. No boost on idle cause the turbine blades are not 'spooling'.
  20. Why do you want to change the springs if you already have adjustable shocks? Shouldn't the adjustable shocks have springs on it? Me and a friend changed his R32 GTR standard springs with Tein coil overs. It was quite good in fact. Had the nice smooth ride from the stock shocks with a lower ride height and kept a decent handling with the coil overs. Basically a good mixture of both.
  21. ^^I remember reading something like that. Think ssshonky is right.
  22. I think Prestige Motor Sport are just playing it safe, cause they know its a pretty thick Red Tape ATM with all the SEVS and what-not. So if you can get a cheap one like this, repair it and get it to Road use then thats friggin sweet! I would like to go for the V-Spec Model.
  23. Friggin sweet! Stretched tyre look too! Nice!
  24. If you change the core, you might aswell take you standard one off and sand blast the paint off or like Yawn said, get it paint stripped or thin light coat of silver paint. My one is like this too. Its black on the inside but on the front the privious owner either did one of the above. Your mechanic could probley do it for you.
