  1. I think the gods are telling me to restore a C110. This one is just a shell and had front left damage. Couldn't get a really good look at it, but if anyones interested I can let you know where it is and you can have a talk to the owner.
  2. Car has been picked up. On the way home I took a backstreet in Seymour I've never been down and came across another 240K coupe shell sitting in someones yard. I took a couple of pics that I'll try and upload later today.

inb4 10 pages of horny male shitstorm edit: also, spamming to get to 10 posts is a ban hammer offence.
  4. So what sort of money would you need to spend for the slips? Are disks/pads, tyres, windscreen roadworthy? Considering how cheap 33's are at the moment you might be better off parting it out. General prices I've found for a quickish sale are: $350 for calipers $300 for hubs $300 for headlights $1200 for gearbox $1500 to $2000 for complete engine $200 for diff (if its lsd) Body panels - bonnet, doors, dront bar etc I'm not sure about. I'd say another $1000-$1500 for them? Then there are plenty of small bits you'll get $100 for on ebay. Instrument cluster, electric window motors, radiator, seats, boot trim and so on. After its stripped you can sell the complianced shell. It will probably take a few months, but could be worth it financially in the end.
  5. I believe we need a "grammar nazi" image uploaded as soon as possible
  6. I kept my R33 after it was written off. I was offered $650 for the wreck by the insurance assessor contacts. I've probably made $2000 off it so far and it still has the diff, gearbox and head. Thats been about 4 months. Considering the condition my car was in, I'd say if you have a fairly complete car you could make more stripping it than selling as a whole. Post up a couple of pictures and give us a general idea of condition. It will help people give you a better response.

  11. The kind gentleman who owned my car in Japan coloured the letters in with nail polish. Looked good from a few feet back, but up close was a different story. This is the only pic I had of it:
  12. Listed on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...T#ht_500wt_1182 Comes with all valves, springs and lifters.
  13. Are Hyosung selling scooters in Australia yet? Might want to look in to them Eps. Decent quality and their bikes are pretty cheap.
  14. Read that and wondered what sort of punishment he'll get. There was another article where a guy was caught "hooning" on the day he got his license. Had it suspended for a year. I saw two p-platers in R31s last night dragging each other up and down Dorset Rd in Croydon. Two of the slowest cars I've ever seen. I would have called the cops if it wasn't so hilarious.
  15. What would you need to modify on the postie bike? They're auto, plenty of storage space (just ad a milk crate to the pack rack ) and for less than $1000 they're a decent bike. Lots of spare parts around and they even have a racing series for them in NSW i believe. Talking myself in to wanting a postie bike now... Funkymonkey, is the Across the one with storage under the tank?
  16. You could get a cheap flight up there on one of the budget carriers and drive it back. If its not what you're looking for you could fly back.
  17. Many years ago one of my dads mates was a truck driver. He turned up one day asking if my dad wanted to go for a drive in one of the cars he was transporting. My dad declined knowing the guy was a bit of a dickhead and not wanting to get involved. Got a call the next day saying how he rolled the car and was in deep shit. Lost his job for that one. Deserved a good ass kicking really.
  18. A person offered $500 if I put it up for buy it now. Seemed like a fair amount so I took it.
  19. You can get auto clutches for motorbikes. Put a pack rack and tank bag on and you have plenty of storage space. You can also wear a backpack. So buy a 250cc roadtrail bike, put in an auto clutch and a pack rack and you have a pretty good package. Edit: Also postie bike.
  20. Noticed an R30 4 door hatchback at pick-a-part in Kilsyth if anyone is after parts. The head was gone but it looked fairly complete, although I didn't have a close look.
  21. Ah yes, this is my listing. I've already had a couple of abusive emails on Ebay from people due to the state of the car... These people seem to assume that I wanted the car to be vandalised and destroyed. Got to love people who hide behind the anonymity of the internet! Looks like I have a buyer. Hopefully the person will restore it.
  22. Motorbikes (and I imagine scooters) fall under the same rules as importing cars. So you would need to find a workshop to compliance them if they were deemed eligible for import. Or you could buy a pre 1989 model, but scooters of the kind you're looking at weren't around then from what I know.
  23. Now listed on Ebay. Link below for anyone who's interested: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...5#ht_500wt_1182
