  2. If you are looking for a CAMS affiliated club have a look at the Holden club of SE QLD. Craig from Hornibrook Motorsport recommended them to me. Apparently there are a heap of different makes/models including holdens in the club so it is really only a holden club by name.
  3. Needs a retune, cam baffles and a couple of other bits and pieces. Running out of time to get the suspension sorted so not sure if it will be done. Worst case I'll spend all day short shifting again but at least it will be consistent.
  4. It's the last test'n'tune before mini jam so I'll probably be there. It will be a busy day/night.
  5. Moving house, want these gone. $250 pickup.
  6. I believe shootout mode was created to remove differences between dynos and conditions at different workshops on different days. Whether shootout mode reads high or low is irrelevant as it should always be consistent.
  7. Do a search for Hornibrook Motorsport in the QLD section. I was looking at Dunlop, Advan, Bridgestone or Kumho. In order from least expensive to most expensive: Bridgestone RE55 Kumho V70A Dunlop DZ02G Advan A048 I was told at the time finding Bridgestone RE55s in Australia was difficult due to Bridgestone's F1 commitments.
  8. Deposit paid. Running Kumho V70As. There better be a wooden spoon prize
  9. PM me your email address. Make sure it can accept 10mb attachments.
  10. Wishful thinking there The cars at the pointy are not only quickest, but better setup, more consistent and more reliable. While I think the dial-in and least spread events would have been won by these guys anyway, at least the rest of the field had a chance. From my point of view I have zero chance of winning anything and will get more track time in the morning so I'm debating which event to participate in. For the guys at the front of the field and from a spectator point of view I'm sure they want to see the fastest car win. Of course this is just my opinion and open to debate.
  11. No more "dial-in" and least spread events? Fastest cars win and we all know who that is going to be. Maybe Russell and Cam have to compete on space savers to even things up?
  12. Been there, done that. Didn't see a problem?
  13. I assume this is staying in western hotels? Would staying in ryokans be cheaper? And also give that authentic japanese feel?
  14. As the topic states, chasing a titanium exhaust to suit a BNR34 V-Spec II. Be specific about brand/model and condition and provide pics where possible. zilla34 at gmail.com
  15. No more trades, both rims and a Forester have been found.
  16. Car is back up for sale. Apparently the buyer had a change of heart. I have the car booked in for a road-worthy on Monday. If you are intersted in the car please call me today or tomorrow on 0402 845 739 as I won't be online again until Sunday night. If I do not get any calls I will be cancelling the road-worthy until a buyer is found. Brisbane buyers will be given preference at this point.
  17. Just noise. Changing to some good gearbox oil makes it almost unnoticeable. Located near the CBD. Has rego until March. But it may be sold pending a mechanical inspection tomorrow.
  18. 1989 S13 Silvia CA18DE (non turbo) 140,000kms Manual Black Stock standard except Sparco rims. 2 point immobiliser fitted. Small rust patches around sun roof, a bit of noise in 3rd gear synchros, otherwise good condition. Just completed oil and filter change and gearbox oil change, both using Motul oils. Registered and sold with road worthy certificate. Sold pending payment. PM or email zilla34 (at) gmail.com Willo.
  19. As per this thread. Willo.
  20. Rims must be light weight (preferably forged) 18x9 minimum up to 18x10.5 with an offset between +20 and +10 depending on width. Being for a GTR they must be the same size all round. Tyres must be semi-slick track rubber (eg. A048, RE55 etc.) with at least 50% tread and at least 255 wide. Be specific about what you have, include size, offset, brand, model, tyres, condition and close up pictures if you have them. Pm or email zilla34@gmail.com
  21. Is there an echo in here?? I think he gets the message.
  22. Sorry, I'm not pulling drive shafts to run at a dyno day. There are enough workshops around with AWD dynos, some of which are, have been, or have offered sponsorship to SAU QLD. I'll just wait for one of those.
