  1. Sunday is forecasted to rain, Sat is meant to be sunny and good. The racing program looks crap on sunday too, more racing on sat arvo/night till 10pm. Qualifying on Sat means alot more cars will be there, going hard to try and make the cut.
  2. Argo I beam is 30 grams lighter than the Carrillo H beam. Carrillo I beam is +/-2 grams of the Argo. Funny enough they rate the Argo at more HP per rod than the Carrillo's, but any "rating" of a component should be taken with a very large grain of salt. If you are after revs without a real budget get aluminium or titanium rods.
  3. Micheal Jackson colored.... one white R33, one black R33.
  4. What model are the Apex'i 272's? How much lift?
  5. How did you find the SBC ID in your white car? Would have thought you got one of them for the GT-R!
  6. Nice stuff, you going to be putting the bleed valve back on now?
  7. Code of Ethnics? Where can I find that, bro?
  8. PowerFC has a password lock, but can only be access via the computer software - not handcontroller.
  9. You can't use it anyway. As they say, you'll need forged pistons and an aftermarket head gasket for more than 10PSI.
  10. I'm not sure who or what that comment is directed to, but if people post a claim then it would be foolish not to have to prove it. There's too much b.s. on alot of internet forums, one thing I like about the Skyline forums is because it's full of (relatively) intelligent people there's a very little fact-to-bullshit ratio, and anything out of the ordinary usually gets flogged with a "put up or shut up" type mentality. Don't think it's a bad thing, it helps keep the SAU forums honest.
  11. Some fun figures: ND injectors 16600-54C02, stock GT-R + GTi-R Flow rate / rail pressure / injector time 440cc / 2.55 bar 485cc / 3.05 bar 525cc / 3.55 bar Can estimate they flow 562cc @ 4.05 bar fuel pressure, although this was not valided in tests. So, assuming 3.55 bar fuel pressure, 95% peak duty, would flow 498cc per injector. With a BSFC of 0.6 (a bit rich) then the injectors would flow enough for approximately 490 horsepower/ 365kw at the flywheel. Hypothetically if it was bumped up to 4.05 bar fuel pressure it could flow enough fuel for around 525 flywheel horsepower with 0.6BSFC, leaning it out could get you 630 flywheel horsepower. This is assuming the fuel pump is up to the task and can flow enough lbs/min at the absolute rail pressure (base pressure + turbo boost).
  12. I have one, are you in Sydney? Can arrange pickup if you are, plz wear something nice.
  13. R34 = more expensive car= larger.... camshaft? Or do you call it a bumpstick still?
  14. Heh just ask wreckedhead! Controversial topic, Mr. Aggressor!
  15. Woa Mark, you upsized? I thought you were getting out of the whole skyline thing when you sold your GTS-t? How do you like the GT-R over the GTS-t?
  16. I've just posted up some Trust 618Z turbos for sale, or were you after something smaller?
  17. Hi guys, Have got a set of Trust 618Z turbos, 8cm turbine housing. They were on the car for less than 500k's, just long enough to get them rough tuned at 1 barand then pull them off for highmount turbos. They have 1bar acuators with them. Also included with the turbos are a set of HKS split dump pipes, were bought new with the turbos. Will not seperate. Asking $3700 for the setup.
  18. Yeah it would appear to be like that, circuit people have a good time and laugh at coming off the track:thumbsup:. I think one of the main reasons it that drag racing is professionally timed (well, there is some sort of standard) and that you can somewhat compare times done between two car's on tracks halfway around the world. No point in comparing lap times between Wakefield vs Phillip Island
  19. The housings are only available in .61 or .73. The internally gated ones have a .64 or .86 in T25 flange, you can get a .68 with the T3 flange - internally gated though. So what did you want again?
  20. Is it for a GT-R or GTS? I have a GT-R assembly here in Sydney.
  21. Nizpro! They know their stuff, and they know how to charge. But they have been one of the leading Nissan workshops for a very very long time, and are still in business. There's probably not much they haven't seen with GT-R's. Downside is they know this, and they charge for their expertise. But do you want to do things twice?
  22. Might want to keep in mind there might not be any more 15y.o. imports after the end of the year, so surely a car like that would then be even more expensive? Just garage it, at least you know you're going to have something you like this christmas!
  23. Dude the R34 RB25 engines are worth a fair bit, considering they come with RB26 rods and solid buckets. Really there isn't much difference internally apart from the VVT. That rebuild figure you intitially got is bullshit too, get a 2nd quote from another source - like a machine shop. They won't triple the price because you have a late model expensive car like tuning shops do...
  24. Hahaha suuure you will. I bet $10K you don't.
  25. Lay off the cheeseburgers, there's a 15kg weight saving in itself! I'd put my money on the single weighing less than the std cast manifolds, turbos, cast dumps.
