Red means no turbo, even something small like an astra turbo is prohibited. Under the old laws i thought that r32 was legal (power to weight), but yer its only recently been inforced i think properly. Had my 33 for 2 yrs and only now got fined.

I Has Been Defected Last Night, Get Few Questions
PIOTREK replied to Skyline ER34's topic in Victoria
i think its depending on wat the defect is for, i would not recommend driving it though. What area was the defect given in? As for the above question- if its a major its a full rwc otherwise for a minor just the items picked -
The Cops Are Ramping It Up - Leave The Skyline At Home!
PIOTREK replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
I DEFINATELY THINK THERE IS A CRACK DOWN!!! Below is link to my thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ri...ld-t300680.html And another one is the eastern suburbs: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Av...rn-t300726.html I got pinned for the power to weight ratio, in 2yrs never copped a ticket in my 33 and been pulled over once. My car is sitting the garage for a while now I would advise moderators not to close this thread as it may help a few VIC SAU member to avoid the extra christmas present -
Knox is disaster, i think they are really trying to crack down now!

Infringement Notice: “Drive high powered vehicle” Penalty: $234 Points: 3 Location: Knox- stay away from here! Lesson for all i hope My question is this possible for a green P-plater? And does anyone have the law around this. Story: Decided to remove this contents as this is a open public forum and no doubt the police reguarly search it, still have respect to police although words can't describe how pissed off i am! happy to pm anyone that want the full story but honestly very disappionted with the above and the circumstance and dialog that was exchanged. for my defence i was in no way shape or form was "a typical p-plater hoon in a skyline" or rude and was complement seriously about my good attitude

Car Still Missfiring After Change Of Coilpacks
PIOTREK replied to Jay_stylz's topic in General Maintenance
i would look at the plugs as you have to change them sooner or later anyways. then there is a tut on how to clean the AFM also which will be handy! Then as a last resort i would look at the loom. Not sure if you changed all the coils, but there is also a tut on how to seal your coils. Its a temp fix but at least you will no what i wrong with your beast -
i had a simular issue a while back, changed the tie rods and caster rod bushes and once i put new tyres, went in for an allignment and now its sweet!

i went to computer align in mitcham/ nunna, my mate always get his done there. firstly the bloke that works there is really good and more importantly he is honest. their methodology is that put pads on the car (quater pannels) to keep it stiff so it doesn't move, then they do the allignment while the car's wheels are actually rolling. last time i took my car there i got an fantastic result! i think that its only 90 odd dollars too. it is off whitehorse rd, the street before bunnings i think (or the same)

mate i know that the ku36 are pretty cheap but they are rated very low in terms of life. they are budget sticky tire and as a daily driver you won't be able to get many km out of them. i put ku31 on my car as i regularly track it and its a daily(was running ventus k104 before) and find that they are doing fine. i found a bloke that does the ku series tyres in richmond and paid 150 i corner (r17 234/45) and he was the cheapest i could find. about 70 bucks cheaper each! i think its advanced tyres next to ikea, pm me if you need the exact details and i will fish through my reciept book

simple solution- say your fb got hacked and you don't no anything about. And once you say that is is bullying he will have to back off twice as hard. Not been a d*ck either my posting the above, but there needs to be tangible evidence against to make a case, there is no way in hell fb is tangible. Secondly once it is on the record that he is bullying then they will have to be very careful abouting sacking, especially if you have the union on your side. And thirdly dw doing dumb posts on FB haha good luck

dude if u r red Pz don't bother with a skyline that is turbo! even on green Pz an r33 turbz will be to powerful! having said that i got an r33 for 2 yrs now and never had a cop pick me up or said anything (2 months to go!). i think that police pulling over every skyline is really overated- if it sits 1cm off the groud then yer u will have troblems! do date (touch wood) never had any police issue where i had to negotiate my way out of defect and done have mods done to it. i have ensured that everything on the car is legal or at least attempted to I would definately considering getting an N/A skyline as they are extremely fun cars and reasonable reliable. Steer away from commys etc although i feel your pain about not been able to drive a turbo, cause i probably won't bother with an N/A skyz. Personally even if i had the cash i wouldn't NEVER buy a cheap GTR. they are cheap for a reason and not sure wat kind of job u got, but i reckon that u don't need that kind of head aches. stick to a single turbz and be happy, u will find that there more second hand parts for a tubo then for GTR and N/A, skylines getting wrecked cause other p-plater "trying" to drift all the time so just enjoy the benfits If u get a skyline (tubz), don't mod it for at least 9 Months cause i reckon about 90% for us young guys can't handle the power of a stock skyz around a track/ corners anyway. Any tom dick and harry an flog a car down the straight! even my younger bro on his Lz enjoys doing it!

can you please PM a price for the coil pack and loom.

welcome to sau! refer to the link below for common issues with r32s (rust spots etc) There are a few things to look for in any car- make sure the machanics are running fine, check if it has been hit hard (most have), Km (anything under 150km is bs, so make sure estimate wat they actually are), bushes are really common to stuffed but most are rwc items (and expensive) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fa...nce-t35442.html Good luck mate, i'm sure u will love it! although i think u will have alot more fun in a manual!

Wrecking R33 Gtst 1994
PIOTREK replied to skylinemadd's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
hey wat do you want for the coil packs? and the loom? -
mate its not a tune issue, have a look at your engine bay, i reckon that you have a fuel leak somewhere. this is serious! i would say take it to your local machanic at least and get them to have a look at it if u are not too handy. Personally i wouldn't be driving it anywhere till i got this sorted. you are getting race track style km!

yer it was in the clip from the coil to the loom. Thats wat i done and to date its fine! no more miss fire- its amazing wat something like a coil can do to the car performance. wanted to make sure- cause that plastic is B*tch to take off and on thank you to everyone and once again thank for your input.
