  3. Eeerm, the only "camera" type thing I know of is an infra-red sensor that detects when the "customer" gets up off the seat, it flushes automatically...

  5. If you mean electronic as in: heated seat, remote control (like... a DVD remote!) bidet, air drying, flush, motorized seat open/close and am/fm radio contrlos... then, yes.
  6. I'm going to purchase a V35 Skyline Coupe in the new year sometime, and I just wanted to know what SAU thought of it? I realize you guys probably haven't seen one in the flesh, let alone drive one, but what do you think of it overall? A step in the right direction? I used to loathe this car, but since I made a few contacts in the car auction industry here (therefore opening up oportunities to seriously consider a V35), I really had good look at them, even having a ride in one yesterday. I didn't drive it myself (but thats cool because it was an AT anyway...) but from the passenger seat I could really see what Nissan are trying to do with the Skyline now... High Performance All-round GT perfection!!! Seriously, the ride, handling, seamless acceleration, and the fit/finish of the car is nothing short of awesome. It felt like a "big" coupe, but not in a bad way like some people say of the R33. The V35 is quality all the way. The guy who was driving took it to redline once or twice, and only stomped on the brakes once, but from that I can only conclude that this car is like the R34s GT-Ts big brother. Seriously. I WANT TO MODIFY ONE.
  7. Well done mate... Thats about all the info thats lying around on this car I think... theres precious little left to post about. I hope SAU members can kinda get the picture on how the Japanese mentality works through a thread like this, ie: The Zero R is gone, so why all the interest? (don't take that the wrong way, from a Jap point of view, thats what they think about Aussies getting interested in old(er)skool 'lines) It's an awesome car obviously, but even with the much bigger population in Japan compared to Australia or even the UK, theres about as many people interested in the Zero R in Japan as there are in Australia... read: bugger all. Sorry guys, it sounds like a negative post, but I just got slightly dissed by my mate Kazuya because he couldn't understand why I was interested in a relic from '91... the R34/V35 is where it's at now!!!

  10. I know that practically every part available in HKS's 1991 engine parts list was used for the Zero R, what those parts actually were however, I don't know. The whole "Zero R" idea came about because HKS wanted to compete in the '91 Tokyo Auto Salon "Complete Car Grand Prix"... a contest to see who can build the best car based on a stock-from-factory vehicle. Aparently the car was fully engineered to a 270km/h standard (read: safe), and was built for high speed cruising performance, durability, all wrapped up in a well behaved "mature" package. The development budget for the Zero R from idea to complete car was 100,000,000 yen.

  14. Yes, it's true... only the 260RS, the 2.5 25t RS FOUR S, and the Type B come in MT... all the rest are AT. It's all good though, because the 260RS and the 25t RS FOUR S are the only ones worth getting anyway.
  15. I agree 100% with you there... like, sure, it's just like a GT-R underneath, except it's got 4 pillarless doors and a big wagon body! GT-R 'tis not. Why even consider it?

The 25t RS FOUR S has: 17" rims with 215/50 rubber standard, the NEO Straight 6 engine, optional twin sunroofs, rear foglamps, and comes in Red, Dark blue, Yellow, Black, Green Pearl, and Silver. Went new for 3,260,000 yen. The Type-B has: None of the above, except it has 16" rims with 205/55 rubber and a non-NEO 6 RB25DET (same power as the NEO though... strangely quoted as 280ps). It's also strange to point out that the Type B doesn't seem to have a sound system available for it, not even a radio. At first I thought it might be like an "N1" version, but I think this might be a mistake. It's strange because all this info is taken direct from Nissan Color catalogues. Went new for 3,040,000 yen. This fully optioned one... ...is going for 1,880,000 yen from a dealer. It's aaaaaall good.
