  1. i have one of those, but my friend is fixing one of the end tanks on it for me.. its 600x300x80. very good cooler but don't know when he is going to finish it. if you are interested pm me.
  2. don't know about the 33 gearbox fitting into a 32, might need a different x member. anyway a friend and i did my conversion. it would be abit harder because mine is 4WD and the box is about 2x heavier. parts - clutch pedal, brake pedal clutch master and slave cylinders gearbox, clutch, flywheel ( need the manual flywheel bolts aswell ) manual spiggot bearing manual x member i think the tail shaft will fit ( mine did ) manual loom off gearbox gearstick, console part that goes around the gear bit you'll also need to cut a hole into the floor for the gearstick to come through. i think thats about it. i would just stick the 32 box in then find out how much the 33 box costs to fit cos the 33 box costs alot more than the 32 one.
  3. SEARCH is your friend.. its been covered alot. have fun with it - i did it and it was the best thing i have done to the car.
  4. ok i just found the book with my 2 lastest specs on it.. BEOFRE front LEFT RIGHT toe in/out +.9 -1.2 Camber -2* -2* Caster +2 +1.4* AFTER LEFT RIGHT TOE in/out +.5 +.5 got line through last two figures. BEFORE REAR LEFT RIGHT toe in/out +.2 +.6 Camber -2* -2* AFTER REAR LEFT RIGHT +1.2 +1.2 had line through it again. thrust angle Before After -.01* 0 ok sydneykid.. whats the go you reckon?
  5. ok, firstly find where the fill bolt and the drain bolt is and try and undo them alittle just to make sure you can get them off. then get yourself 5L of gearbox oil ( depends on howmuch you want to spend ) you could try that nulon gearbox treatment stuff, its meant to help with gear changes. drop the oil and fil it back up with the new stuff and the treatment and see how you go.
  6. i got 138rwkw in my GTS-4 with turbo back exhaust, filter, stock cooler and turbo 13psi, 80% blocked radiator ( fixed now ), on a 38 degree day.
  7. its a little sensor on the front of the fan infront of the a/c radiator. little black thing, has wires going to the middle where the horns are and connects there. have fun.
  8. well i tested this.. i bled my boost to 14psi last night and i had no cut at all. zip, nutin... don't know what the go is. i think you should reset your ecu, check the plugs on your knock senors, clean out your AFM and filter, check plugs and test coil packs and this should fix your problem and make your car run alot smoother.
  9. it runs off a cable.. so no i don't think it would be that. is the cable for the auto or the manual? dont know if there is a difference, worth a try.
  10. at what rpm does it do it??? i had one knock senor dissconnected and it hit a wall at about 5 grand. would still go to 7 but just very slowly. if its the knock sensor it will just retard the timing heaps.
  11. well.... it turned out it was a piece of pipe that was only 3 inch's long and had a hole in it.. took 4 hrs to get the bastard out and get new piece of hose and new hose clamps. its all good now, so thanks for you guys help.
  12. i'll update tomorrow.. see how i go
  13. do you think i will be able to get the pipe at like supercheap or somewhere like that??
  14. ok driving down the warrago highway towards brisbane and suddenly noticed the temp gauge doing up, pulled over and coolant was leaking out from under the inlet manifold area... there are i few hoses going through there. does anyone know what hose has split around there? car is a R32 GTS4. fixing it tonight so any help would be helpful. Thanks guys!
  15. i think they are the same as gtr ones.. not sure. you can always put in a gtr as it would just bolt up.
  16. you can adjust the lazer voltage that can make it read things a bit easier. if you open up the ps2 the adjustments are at the top of the board. there is one for dvd and one for games. otherwise you can get a microfibre cloth and use some metho on the laser to clean it.
  17. you don't have to disconnect the brake line. i hate spring compressors when you don't have a air tool to use
  18. if i had $200 i would take them in a second.. damn
  19. it's really quite simple.. 1 - jack the car up 2 - take wheel off 3 - loosen top bolts in engine bay ( for front pair, rear ones or in the boot ) 4 - take off bolt on the bottom of the strut 5 - take the bolts off the top completly 6 - bob's your uncle its off. 7 - with the rear they take abit of movement/hitting to get them off the bottom support thing. hope that helps ya
  20. sounds like a good idea. anyone?
  21. i used a hose that was meant for a commodore for the top radiator hose and it works fine. don't know about heater hoses. sorry dude
  22. where can you buy the JIC filters from?
  23. cool. its just that i kit a curb awhile ago and the high didn't change then it was after i changed the upper camber bushes from adjustable ones to standard ones. i have replaced ball joints, top section of hub, pretty much everything except the sway bar linkage that joints onto the back of the hub. BTW the front left sits about 10mm higher than the right side.
  24. where did you guys mount your horns??? i can't put it back in the same position.
  25. can a swaybar get bent out of place? if the link bushes are stufed can that effect the height? what are the difference's ( if any) between a gts4 and a gtr? thnaks guys
