its a nissan! haha. if you want to look to see if your ecu has been chipped open it up and the chip should have some sort of sticker on it. with the misfire - check plugs, coil packs, vacum leak something along those lines

mine was auto, does that count lol.. i have a rb20det in my gts4 thats done 191,000k's with pod + CAI, 3" turbo back exhaust, apexi bov, 13psi on stock turbo stock cooler, 500hp fel pump. it made 136rwkw on a 40degree day with the a/f ratio in the 9's. not cool.. recently i have disconected the stock return pipe from the bov and the car seems to go ALOT harder. also the timing is set at standard ( i think ).

How do you turn the front wheels off on a R32 GTS-T 4WD
Mr GTS4 replied to meep's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
its the 2nd fuse in on the bottom row in the fuse box under the bonnet. you will see ontop of the box it will be the one saying 4wd/heater or something like that. have the car off and remove the fuse, turn car on and 4wd light will come on.. ( only take out and refit the fuse when car is off ) -
stock bov pipe unblocked = faster car??
Mr GTS4 replied to Mr GTS4's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
what about sticking a little air filter thing over the pipe, the smaller ones you see people using ontop of there engine??? cul202 - i don't get any weird idle problems either... must be a freak thing -
stock bov pipe unblocked = faster car??
Mr GTS4 replied to Mr GTS4's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i noticed this after the dyno.. so the a/f ratio's would be alittle leaner than that now. -
i only noticed this the other day.. i have a apexi bov in the standard position and the pipe that comes up beside to recirculate the air back into the system. i put a coke lid in there when i put the bov on, now the other day it come out ( i didn't know ) and the car went alot faster than normal on 10psi. the last dyno i had so on a 40 degree day with the coke lid in there and the A/F ratio's went down into the 9's at high rpm. is it possible that the car is sucking air in through that pipe and leaning out the mixture? the car isn't pinging so it's all good. the car just feels a Shite load quicker. this morning i turned the boost upto 13 and holy crap... i think i forgot what boost felt like lol

my wish list consists of - the front of the car sitting at the same height instead of one side higher than the other set of 18inch ROH fury rims RB30DET conversion t04e turbo power fc sard 550cc injectors full coil over suspension paint fixed up new dash ( tacho doesn't work!!! ) GTR front bar and bonnet ( no grill cos it looks fully sik ) .... thats about it really - if i had about $10 - 12g's it would all be done.

Mr GTS4 replied to Mr GTS4's topic in General Automotive Discussion
cool.. if i would go a vg30dett would there be abit more room than it in a 300zx??? -
took my camber bushes off awhile ago and the rubbers on them were shagged so i thought i would call fulcrom to see how much it would cost to get new bushes on them... they want $530 to take off the old ones and put new rubber things on each side of the bratchet thing... can you do this yourself or where else in brissy can it be done for cheap?? they also wanted $250 just for the bushes.

nissan terrano 4WD - rb20det conversion??
Mr GTS4 replied to Mr GTS4's topic in General Automotive Discussion
just sounded like a good idea.. would be funny to see a club full of skyline powered 4WD's going ona cruise!!! LOL -
i was thinking the other day about doing a rb20det conversion in one of those nissan terrano 4WD's.. cause i want to put a RB30DET into my GTS4 so i would have a rb20 sitting around, and i'm thinking of getting a 4wd next year. just wondering if it was possible to do it... use the terrano gearbox and get a custom bell housing for that. what do you think? p.s. my friend has a hilux 4 runner with a 1G-GTE with a S14 bb turbo, gtir front mount, 37" mud tires, 16 pound boost and 203 hp at the wheels. so going 4wding with him is quite fun.

1. would it be better using a Apexi SAFC 2 than using a remapped ECU? 2. do you know of anywhere to get the sump adapter? 3. once the motor has been run in what would you expect out of it with std injectors, rb25T turbo, std afm, 500hp fuel pump, k+n filter, 3" turbo back zorst, FMIC, and about 12psi boost, and SAFC 2? at a 4 wheels

i've been waiting for a game like this for about 8 years!!!!! free roaming around a city, full customising of your car.. everything.. i can't wait for it. also the drift is alittle different to get used to but i'll get it. i love the way they have changed the engine nosies. Q1 - you can race against a 180sx or 240sx - could you swap the car folders so that you can drive the 180sx???
-
well i went through the first 12 pages and gave up.. thanks for your input

i heard about this conversion not too long ago and was wondering if you guys could answer some questions for me. this is what i would like to do with it. RB30E motor - compression tested and in good nic - $200 RB25DE head - $700 gaskets - $300 RB25 Turbo - $500 GTR injectors plus resistor pack - $320 ( could you use the RB20 fuel rail on the rb25 head? ) Apexi SAFC - $350 ( would this be ok on the standard R32 computer? ) also was wondering if the GTR plenum would bolt upto the RB25DE head? if not just use the standard RB25 plenum. use RB20 exhaust manifold ( would like to get maybe R33/4 turbo's and bolt on later on down the track ) what head gasket would you use? what mods would you have to do to make the 4WD sump bolt onto the RB30? can you still use the rb20 afm and sensors? anything else that i have missed?

Steering, Alignment, Camber Kits?
Mr GTS4 replied to geno8r's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
.......thats F**KED!!! i'm so sorry man. i know how it feels to have your pride and joy banged up.... -
car - R32 GTS4 with GTR shocks and lowered king springs. the other day i noticed that my front left shock wasn't moving down properly with the rest of the car. when you push down on the right side looking from the top ( engine bay ) down at it, the whole assembly would move down with the rest of the car. unlike the right side the left side what hapenns is when you push down the shock shaft ( middle shaft with the bolt ontop to hold it together ) doesn't move but the rest of the assembly moves with the car... have i done something wrong when putting the spring back onto the shock with bushs?? also the left side sits about 10mm higher than the right. everything is stock underneath the wheel except i have adjustable caster rods. i used to have adjustable camber but the bushs were stuffed so i went back to standard items. anyone know whats going on.
