  1. Will you fix the ignition problem before sale?
  2. As per heading, I'm after a cheap R32 to start a new project. By cheap I mean something in the $3,000 - $7,000 range. Preferably manual and turbo but will accept both auto and N/A if cheap enough. I dont particularly care if it has issues. Located in melbourne but happy to purchase interstate if it's driveable. Please let me know if you have something suitable that you wanted to get rid of. Email : [email protected]
  3. I think it depends whether or not we have fvcken awesome blue neons.
  4. Across from 7/11?? if so then yeah it was me. I didnt catch you tho! p.s. they are machined silver, not chrome.. at least thats what i keep telling myself
  5. I'm going to suggest that the "holding down for 10 seconds" is false. On the skidpan day i didnt hold it down for 10 seconds. Simply turned it off. VDC didnt appear to do anything at all. At phillip island, with VDC on, i could feel it working on turn #1 and the light would flash. After i pressed the button, it totally stopped doing anything. However i didnt spin out so maybe it only activates in extreme circumstances with VDC off?
  6. I just checked to make sure it wasnt april fools day. Somebody should revoke your right to own such a nice car as the V35 coupe. But if you like them, then go for it. Most of us are guilty of something that "seemed like a good idea at the time".
  7. Mine has brembos, fitted with QFM A1RM pads, and i didnt notice any brake fade at all (doing sessions of 5 laps at a time at phillip island). My semi slicks on the other hand were noticeably less grippy on the 4th and 5th laps.
  8. Bump. Bike is in the shed doing nothing. Very interested in trades for an R32. I will add cash on top of course.
  9. Not a v35 but today at work im parked behind a really old merc with the plates that i wanted! CPV.035 in standard issue. I wonder if he would let them go..
  10. Thanks Rianto. Nope. Come to think of it i dont know if my compass ever worked? Perhaps i was driving in a south east direction every time i checked.
  11. So my compass doesnt work anymore.. not that i care, but yeah, any thoughts? Its pointing south east instead of west.
  12. No worries. As i said, the damage would be professionally repaired before sale. For anybody else who wants to see a pic of the damaged wheel, here you go: http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//worksFR.JPG
  13. I havent shopped for tyres in a while but expect $900ish for something cheap/nasty, or $1,500 for an alright set. I will p.m. pictures of the 2 rashed wheels shortly. Cost to fix them im expecting a few hundred in total but havent got an official quote. My suspension is nismo s-tune but with v35 RSR ti-2000 springs. Ride quality is too subjective. I will put it this way for you. If you are not comfortable in a lowered car then dont bother with 20s. These wheels on standard ride height make for a rediculous looking vehicle(IMO). I made the statement about wishing they were smaller because none of the tyres i want are available in 20".
  14. The reason for sale is that I dont need 20" rims. Tyres are still expensive unless you are happy with nankangs (im not). I'm going for a different look, something less VIP. I may just keep driving around on my factory 18s which are now painted black and wearing semis. As for trades I will consider anything of value. If we are talking wheels then they must be 18" or 19" and with very agressive offsets. Cheers. *edit* - my guards are not lipped.
  15. Most of the kits available are pretty bad taste (just my opinion). If I had to choose, it would either be the nismo kit or the KD burnout - http://www.burnout-web.com/SHOP/40120/48589/list.html here is an example, quick photoshop. i'm hoping to pick up the same soon.

  17. Folks, I'm looking at selling my wheels. They are WORK SC2s in "cut clear" (silver). http://www.work-wheels.net/products/wheel_...&Item_id=70 Fitment fairly ideal for a V35: Front 20x8.5 +11, tyres 245/30/20 tread still good maybe 50% left. Rear 20x9.5 +18, tyres 275/30/20 tread down to the markers. One of the fronts has a lot of gutter rash, which i will have professionally repaired before sale (hopefully within the next couple of weeks). Hence the EOI at this stage. There is also a little rash on one of the rears. Price: $3,200. If you dont need me to have the wheel repaired I'm happy to talk price. I will also consider trades + cash my way. http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//P5270062.jpg http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//works.JPG http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//skyboat.jpg http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//skyboatn.jpg
  18. I believe it will fit, but you are always better off trying them out to see how it looks first. You may not be happy with the offsets.. I am running 20x8.5 +11 front, and 20x9.5 +18 rear. No issues.
  19. Do you think he is ignorant or just talking shit? I'm going with talking shit.
  20. Actually, its not that great.. the "standard car" is painfully boring. Maybe I just need to invest in a steering wheel to make it more enjoyable? The guys at the top of the leaderboard are exceptionally good. Almost seems like a waste of time trying to get within even 5 seconds of them.
