  1. If your budget isn't huge, you could always get a cat-back system made up by your local muffler bloke. Otherwise, have a chat to one of the many places who import parts via japan. I got my fujitsubo exhaust via http://www.rmsmotorparts.com.au . Cheaper than nengun and only a couple weeks for delivery. Here is a japanese option: http://www.nengun.com/kakimoto-racing/full-mega-n1
  2. Ok, sorry everyone, slight mistake on my part. Two of the tyres are good and two of them are just on the markers and probably not roadworthy. Pics are below. Excuse the four years worth of dust and spider webs If anyone wants to pick them up, im free after 7pm any day this week. Preferably p.m. me and we'll organise a time otherwise msg to 0434 463 181 if you prefer.
  3. Yes, all four corners. A couple people from melbourne are interested, and i have a very strong preference to sell it to one of them instead. Worst case scenario i will post it, but will probably have to be via courier. Expect $50 or so.
  4. Yep, i'm in sunshine (10 minutes from footscray). had a couple people interested. let me get them out of the shed and take some proper photos tonight.
  5. Heres a photo of the last time the wheels were used. They look the same now, but covered in dust. http://users.tpg.com.au/xscape23//mr2%20001.jpg
  6. Folks I've got for sale a set of factory R33 gts-t wheels with roadworthy tyres. Good for skids, thats probably about it. They've been sprayed gloss black, quite badly, and have been sitting in the back of the shed since 2006. One of the wheels has very deep scratches across the face of the rim, but i drove around on it like that for years so id suggest that it is still structurally sound. Can take pics for anyone interested. $100 pick up from western suburbs of melbourne.
  7. Ok, so i've had a few offers of $400 pick up now (which is the lowest price) but so far nobody has actually turned up. First person to come here with cash can have them. Located in western suburbs of melbourne (sunshine), but I can deliver to the doncaster area free of charge this saturday morning only.
  8. I did my plugs over the weekend. 5 of the wells were clean a whistle, but sure enough the hole closest to the passenger seat had a little oil in it. I can't see how it would cause any issues.. it was a very small amount, perhaps 5 or 10ml, and it wouldn't be leaking into the combustion chamber, nor any exposed electrical components. Don't think i'm gonna bother fixing this, unless somebody can enlighten me of a good reason to?
  9. A few points. - If you are importing yourself, you save money because you are wearing the risk. - If you want some sort of warranty, you have to buy a car from one of your local dealers. You will pay more for it, and perhaps even end up with a car that has had its clock wound back (especially since you are in sydney...). - Even if you do get a warranty, pay close attention to it, because in many cases they are not worth the paper that they are written on. - These cars, at this young age, are fairly reliable. You might run into power window or dock lock issues, but these are rather cheaply fixed. Perhaps cheaper than what a warranty would cost you. - I have imported a car with a log book, and another with a partial service history. They don't tell you very much (unless you read japanese), and it is no guarantee of anything. p.s., what was average about the car you looked at today?
  10. Yes, $400 was the minimum I had in mind. Vcool, if you still want them please P.M. me the postal address and I'll reply with my bank details. Can also do paypal if you prefer. Just let me know either way.
  11. Good times Definitely recommended for anyone who is thinking of doing one of these days in the future.
  12. Any more takers? Happy to provide more photos, etc, if required. Will throw them it on ebay if i don't get any more bites on here.
  13. Oops.. over-estimated adjustment on the coilovers
  14. I only found a couple coins and a wierd air freshener under each seat in the V35. In the aristo i found what appeared to be a happy meal toy. But best of all was my first import many years ago. In the MR2 I found a c0ck ring, brand new still in packet. I thought it was some sort of gummy lolly at first. Needless to say I soon steam cleaned the seats.
  15. Yep, Nankang NS-II are horrible. I couldn't wait to get rid of the set that was on my car. Ended up with kumho KU19s on the rear, $300 each for 275/30/20. Pretty good value, i think. No problems with the grip levels (for a street tyre) and they are a fair bit quieter than the nankangs. The only issue may be tyre wear but we'll see how it goes.
  16. I'm not sure, sorry.. but if I had to guess, I'd say probably not. It could fit but might not be so suitable.
  17. They dont appear on the SEVS register. So to answer your question, at the moment, no. http://www.raws.com.au/SEVSReg.asp I always thought that the 8 series was sold brand new in australia, at least at one point in time. Could well be wrong though!
  18. I've always kept the tyres, in fact, i've gone through compliance and registration with them more than once.
  19. Weekend bump. Why spend your money on drugs and hookers when you could buy these instead!
  20. Sorry for the delay guys, forgot about this. A photo is below (1 front and 1 rear). To save you some research, here are the details on the struts: http://www.nengun.com/nismo/s-tune-suspension-kit And the springs: http://www.nengun.com/rs-r/ti2000 I believe that they are still in good working condition and i couldnt find any signs of leaks. There are some stone chips and small scratches on the struts, partly thanks to my frustrated efforts in removing them from the car. Somebody who wants a little bit of low and a slightly sportier ride for a daily driver would be happy with this purchase. Pick up is very much preferred, but im happy to personally deliver anywhere across melbourne if i have some spare time. Interstate shipping via courier can also be organised at the buyer's expense.
