  1. Might be the same Skyline each time
  2. Ha! Thats why I bugged out on the cruise some weeks ago. Spotted them a mile away. I've been riding about 19 years now and I suss out each car without having to think too hard about it. Served me well, because I've never been booked for anything on a bike. Not to say that I don't misbehave ... I just chose carefully when I want to. But I have been pulled over by an unmarked car quite a few times for "rego and licence checks".
  3. Wow, you guys moved quick on installing this kit to Adam's car! Take pics and let me know how the end result looks
  4. Admit it ... I'd like to be a cop in a car like that. Win the drag race, light 'em up and book 'em. Lose the drag race, light 'em up and book 'em anyway!
  5. Was the F-word blue? If it was, then its the same unmarked car that tried tempting me to race it at lunchtime today. And no I didn't fall for it.
  6. I've got a whip ... the real thing too I remember being able to do the Man From Snowy River thing ... crackin a whip on horseback. Wonder if I can still do it? * humming theme to "Man From Snowy River" in head *
  7. A bit late in replying, but spotted a member's stock but very low corolla at Villis last Thursday night 24th (before Anzac day) with an R32 in the car park. I was with my biker mates that night on the Rizla Suzuki. Cops turned up just as we were leaving ... so my mate does a wheelie down the road
  8. No, you're wrong. I have plenty of time to play with my toys ... all of them. Got the dirt bike for weekends with the mates Got the race bike for track days (1-2 per month) Got the MV for general commuting and Friday night rides Got the TLR for weekend rides in the hills Got the S1 Stag for work commuting Got the S2 Stag to share work commutes and weekend cruises ... But yeah, I need one more vehicle ... ... does the GF Liana count?
  9. Had to run home during my lunch break to pick up something. 2 Common-whore and 1 Falcon wanted to race in 3 different instances. I just ignored the f**kers! Afterwards at the next set of lights, one of the Common-whore driver told me my car was slow ... I told him that he was just stupid.
  10. Got my HKS timing belt and new waterpump today!
  11. You can collect from the boys at Autobarn
  12. Meh ... there will always be another one ... won't there be?
  13. I didn't want to say the name. But it appears its obvious Autobarn have bad service and stock levels. I don't think any of the guys take their jobs seriously ... with the exception of one bloke who I use to track day with. The guys are there to look at boobs and pretend they know what they're doing.
  14. My last squeeze was 24! ... the new GF is 33 ... damn, I just aged 9 years quickly
  15. I studied at Uni and worked hard for years building up capital. Now I earn a higher enough salary and have plenty of assets to finance anything I want I've got a house, two RS4s, 4 motorcycles (MV Agusta, GSXR race bike, TLR1000, dirt bike) and I own the lot ... no loans ... totally debt free, no credit cards even. I'm now looking for my next house and all my salary is mine to spend. See young lads, hard work does pay off! Thats why I take pride in my toys.
  16. Welcome delichef! At this stage I'm going to organise the cruise for the Saturday 10 May 2008 Same time details as above.
  17. I doubt you got good at everything ... but its good to see you learning. Just keep a straight head when driving. you doing the log book system I hope. Taking lessons from a qualified instructor?
  18. I like the idea where your hand is severed if you're caught stealing! Make the punishment a "punishment". These so called "prisons" have better accomodation and facilities than most hotels/motels!
  19. Would have looked better for me if I coulda voted in an age bracket like 25-35yo
  20. Problem is this one auto shop in Mile End is consistently bad! I only keep going back because its close to work and MAYBE they'd have what I want (including good service .. bah!) True. I often get told BS. I think they wanna sound like they know what they're talking about ... when they don't
  21. I love donuts, but I don't drink coffee ... so I guess I've balanced my workload out
  22. I'm getting tired of shopping at these so-called auto shops, who tend to stock more non-auto gear than BigW or Target. For example, one 'popular' auto shop booked me in to fit an alarm they don't even stock, despite advertising it being in stock. Then they wanted to sell me an even more expensive alarm, but wait, they don't have that one in stock either for another week! They have no masking tape, caliper paint, RB25 specific plugs, oil drain pan, etc etc. Last time I actually almost bought something they had in stock, the sales guy (seeing me waiting for counter service for nearly 3 minutes) serves some bimbo blonde first who just walked right thru the door. Yes, I made a fuss. "No thats fine, you sell this rude cow that $9 tube of polish. I'll just leave these items here (about $90 worth of stuff) and take my money elsewhere turd". Then I go to Supercheap and find everything I want there, at about 20% cheaper! I know where I'm shopping now. Am I the only one who finds these bling-bling, (non-)auto shops aren't what they use to be? *end rant*
  23. I think Sled is trying to get across the "grind your teeth" moments. When things are stil fresh in your mind, they affect your actions subconsciously sometimes! Thats why they have coffee and donuts to calm down
  24. Yeah ... good tip! And keep a baby rattle handy for beating them with! C'mon, no crook will admit to being assaulted with a baby's rattle As for restraining them. Done that too. There's a few wrist/arm locks that can be used with very little effort ... leaves no bruising or evidence of injury. I'll show you guys a few sometime, for those who'd like to know (and brave enough to get close enough). But its purely for restraint/self defence only. As long as its clearly a "controlled restraint" and you're now intentionally inflicting injury upon them, then its cool. If the wrist/arm lock doesn't hurt them as long as they do not resist, and only hurts them if they struggle or try to get free, then your within the boundaries of the law. The same wrist/arm locks I'm referring to are taught to the police anyway ... I should know
