  1. PM sent with a proposed map. If you're happy with this, I can print a few.
  2. My PC keeps crashing everytime I try mapping out a route. I think thats a sign!
  3. Hey Adam, given that its a long weekend, the cops will be out patrolling mroe than usual. Driving on common roads of course is hard to avoid, but we should try not to drive a long length of it. I'll PM you a route I think will be enjoyable. See what you think, and the final decided route/map can be handed out at IKEA, instead of posting it up here for anyone (cops) to read - given that people have a paranioa that cops have nothing better to do.
  4. Hmm, I got one of them.
  5. There's no replacement for displacement
  6. Break it! Those Hyundai's have them and they shit me to bits.
  7. I agree. THANK YOU!
  8. Gimme that chinese fugly from the SBS news report anyday j/k
  9. Hmmm ... Why do I have a "Warn: (0%) -----" thing at the bottom of my avatar, but I can't see anyone else with one? Or does everyone have one, but you can only see your own?
  10. And pics MUST be taken. We gotta take pics of each and every Stag
  11. Well I gotta be at the Pier by 9.30-10.00. There is beer and women! People normally stand around for an hour before cruising, so that'd give me less than 30 mins before I'd have to drive to Glenelg. If we can keep it timely, say start the cruise at 8.30. I can come along for sure. I'll be out cruising tomorrow night on the TLR
  12. What? You mean you'll switch the radio from AM for FM? But wouldn't that drown out the sound of the unadjusted tappets rattling away?
  13. I'll come to the meet at IKEA, but can't do the cruise 'cause I gotta go to the Pier after that to meet friends. Drinking must be done!
  14. Welcome ... ... enjoy!
  15. Spacers under the bonnet hinge will get ya big kw too ... and the chance to have your head lobbed off in a head-on crash, thats totally sick! A missing wheel nut from each rim will save you weight and add kw too Save more weight ... replace licence plates with cardboard and scribble rego number on it.
  16. Nice avatar.
  17. Don't forget the mandantory LED lights for the windscreen washer squirters! Thats another 2-3rwkw Oh ... and have a 'fake' roll cage made up with exhaust bends!
  18. Yes, definately! Assessors are lazy ass fools. Thats where the hold up (7 weeks!!!) was with my claim. Get onto them immediately.
  19. I can't help with the lift, but I should be there myself. Don't think Grim will be there with his Stag ... he's still on his honeymoon!
  20. On a similar note, I crashed my MV Agusta F4 Brutale (bloody long name) motorcycle early February and the shop had my bike 7 weeks before the assessor approved the repairs ... but that was only because I went into their head office and screamed blue-bloody-murder! Its been 10 weeks since the crash and I still have no bike. I've been nagging these bastards for weeks, and its the only reason they're moving forward with my repairs. Granted, parts had to be ordered from Italy, but thats a 3 week wait ... not 10 weeks! My broken shoulder has healed quicker than the time its taken them to even start work on my bike. I didn't pay over $20K on a bike just to have it sit in someone else's premises for 10 weeks. I'm praying they're going to stick with their timeline and I'll have my bike back in 2 weeks. In the meantime, I just re-registered my Suzuki TLR yesterday, as the itch to go riding is getting too much.
  21. It depends on what shop your car is going into as to the time it will take to repair. Your best bet is to "pester" them ... they're use to it trust me. Just enquire about a timeline for the repairs and when you can get the car back. They may even have a loan car for you, being a single mum and all. Just ask ...
  22. Buy a factory ECU then piggy back it. Negotiate price to free up cash to include this stuff.
  23. Urgh, not Autobarn! Sorry, I have endless problems with them. Even went there yesterday for pads for Nissan 4 pots. The salesman was very vague on where to start looking for them.
