Woah, Sunday the 11th is Mothers Day? Bummer. Might need to rethink that one! Would saturday, for this cruise only, suit everyone better?

How about a cruise on the 2nd Sunday of each month? Makes it accommodating for those who miss out on a cruise for one reason or another! Have a different member organising each cruise, so we take it in turns. I'm going to start another thread right now for the Stag cruise on the 11th May. Okay. The first Stagea cruise organised by Adam was a raving success. But we did hear alot of attendees talk about the need for a daytime cruise ... so here it is. Meet at Castle Plaza car park on the Sunday 11th May at 10.00am. We roll at 10.30am on the dot. Ensure you have fuel for the trip, or at least fuel to get to Victor (first stop). Cruise will leave from Castle Plaza and work its way to Victor Harbor via Delamere. Lunch/beer at Victor and then cruise up to Strathalbyn and back to Castle Plaza via Clarendon then South Road. A map of the exact route will be handed out on the Sunday morning. Any input and recommendations will be considered for the route/stops. This is a Stagea only cruise. By this I mean we have all Stags up the front for the cruise. Tag alongs at the back. If we got other cars mixing it in, then it just becomes an everyday car cruise. Our last cruise really turned heads with the number of Stags driving down Jetty Road, and we want to turn more heads again! So who's in?

Well I missed out. Didn't get the acceptance until Saturday (dated Friday, but got it Saturday). Didn't think I was in so I had already made plans for the Sunday to go to the airport for Grim flying back from QLD. Oh well.

My neighbour and I caught 4 young punks trying to steal my Kawasaki some years ago. I had it chained to a post "for sale" around the corner from my house. Caught them by surprise and our intent was to scare them off ... you know run and yell at them. Well all 4 put their fists up and none wanted to run. ... too bad. If you catch anyone trying to steal or break into your car, and they don't back down, then its game on! I don't care what people think. Maybe y'all think I'm just a tough talker, keyboard warrior, whatever. I'm me, and I hate disrespectful people. I've grown up very much most of my life under discipline and respect, and if someone disses you or your property, you can do something about it ... but think about it before you act. Peace

Yeah been there done that. There are a few bad ones for sure! I've got family/friends who are cops, and they like and dislike the job. Good info anyway. As far as the property protection issue goes, been there done that too. As Sled says, be sure there is a "challenge" there if you're going to get physical. Whilst hitting a crook from behind is fun, the law provides more protection for them than us.

Well, lets plan for Sunday 11th May for the next Stag cruise. Meet at Castle Plaza at 10.00am. Make sure you have your fuel, or enough to get to VH. We roll by 10.30am to head to Victor Harbor via Delamere. Get to VH by lunchtime. Eat (and get fuel) then return to Adelaide via Strathalbyn. I've already got a route mapped out, but suggestions are more than welcome. Maps will be provided on the day. How does the start time suit people? We had 13 Stags for Adam's cruise ... lets try and beat that!

So what was the final count ... 13 Stags? Good night it was. I enjoyed seeing so many Stags in one place. And looking in my rear view and see Stag after Stag coming around each corner was bliss It was good to have a tight-lipped cruise and no cops in sight. And I peronsally loved being one of the three stags side-by-side down Greenhill Road holding the Skylines back May I suggest a day time cruise to Victor one day via Delamere? And lunch at one of the hotels? We might need to get numbers and make a booking! I can run with this one if everyone can agree on a suitable day/date ... say Sunday after next (2 weeks time) depending on the weather.

Sorry to hear about your car dude! Yeah, I say give them 'the treatment' when/if you catch them. I know a few cops are they're decent people, but a majority of them are wankers. There for the badge and the easy jobs, easy money. And I fully support protecting your property no matter what it takes. Who cares what the cops say: if I'm breaking into your car, will you call your colleagues, or do something yourself copper? Nuff said. Protect your property. I've trained most of my life and I've trained and competed overseas too, so I know a thing or two about ending the matter quickly and painfully for the thief. I pity the fool.

I just downloaded the extra files I need for my GPS unit. No speed cameras to worry about for me ... not that we'd be speeding on a "cruise" anyway Oh, and my plans for the catch up after the cruise have changed, so I shouldn't be leaving early.
