I've put my name down to work at the hillclimb event at Collingrove. I've been on the phone to the event organiser and they are low of numbers for Marshalls. Is anyone keen to give it a go? I was at the Mt Alma hillclimb event weekend before last and it was awesome. The event is held at Hill Climb Rd, Mt McKenzie South Australia 5353, throw that address into your Google Maps. Krishy, yes its was an L2S licence you need to apply for. I'll let you know what he forwards onto me.

Shane also has a current L2S CAMS license (not the recreational license issued on the day) which would have gotten him some brownie points with the CAMS reps on the day.

Brush up on what the job description entails. Know the job like you've worked there for years ... they'll pick up on the confidence. Got the job description? Know anyone else in the job who you can talk to? Be able to give examples of previous experiences (working, studies or not) to demonstrate skills in key areas. Demonstrate a willingness to learn in the areas you know are your weakest. Be able to identify (in relation to the job) your SWOTs (strength, weaknesses, opportunities, threats). These are the things I look for. I could go on, but keep it simple: know the job, prepare for questions, relax.

If at any stage during the interview, it looks like you're not going to get the job ... do NOT punch them in the face!

Try not to use the "F" word Kellie. I know its hard, but concentrate okay! Try to anticipate the type of questions they are likely to ask. Keep answers short and easy ... and relax. Good luck with the interview.

The Volvos had to leave early I was there ... with the little lady and the lad too. Had to shoot off about 1.30pm to sort out a mechanical issue with Tracy's car back home. But I did my part ... I think

Thanks for those who made the event an awesome day out. Got plenty of pics ... but my PC at home is having a spaz ... so I'll post them up from work tomorrow.

Was awesome to witness the GTR in action. I've got pics and vids to post up after the track day at Mallala today fellas. Martin, coulda sworn you made the top 12. Bugger! Oh well, next year then? Stay tuned.
