Couldn't we all!!!!!!!!!!

Spent an hour last night relocating (slightly) and refitting the handbrake assembly, for my modified manual console surround (grafted the Stagea auto surround and an R34 manual surround together). It all fits and now I just need to improve it cosmetically. Got some leather boots for the stick and handbrake with red stitching coming from ebay, and I'm also fibreglass puttying up the console to sand it back to a smooth finish.

Devasted! I've been suffering and hiding a training injury for the past week and its not improving enough for the road trip. I've just had to email Jess and inform her I'm out due to injury. Not happy. Crushed. I suffered a multiple broken shoulder 2 years ago due to a motorbike crash, and I had a training incident last week on Thursday which woke up the injury. Xrays confirmed no re-breaks to the shoulder (thank god), but there is some tissue damage which is painful as f**k! Rest over the past week hasn't made it good enough for the trip to NSW. You lads have fun. Sorry Jess.

I'll be selling my front rotors and calipers when I get my Wilwood upgrade ... in about 2 weeks!

My towbar required no cutting at all ... including with the rear lip. Custom made to fit at $329 too (rated to 1500kg)

Yesterday: Hacked up the CF-look centre console plastic to graft an R34 manual shift console onto. But 50% done. All cutting/trimming is done, now I just need to plastic weld it all together and bog up the gaps. Later it all gets covered with some real CF. Should be finished by early June. Touched up/puttied and resprayed my front Aero type M bar. While I had the bar off, refitted the electric fan in front of the a/c condenser. Had to remove the FMIC to refit the fan, so I also discovered a 10mm size hole in the intercooler, from a bolt on the chassis rubbing thru. Fixed it up, refitted and test drove it after. Bit more responsive now In the next fortnight, I'll be upgrading my brakes to a 325mm kit.

Excellent! Yep, I agree ... I've got some props too: compressor and spray painting gear, tool chest, mig welder etc etc. Who's got a stand-out brake package? We can jack their car up and show off the brakes.

What are you selling again? These will also fit RS4 stagea if you get the rear hats machined down from 115mm to 85mm (I think) for the mounting bolts.

Fixing up my front bar this weekend. Lucky I removed it ... found boost leak in intercooler. All fixed now Going outside now to spray front bar then refit it.

Pete, is it worthwhile starting a thread about bad experiences? No naming names of course, but saying (for example) "I had a bad experience at an exhaust shop" and leaving it open for members to PM only that member to enquire? People can leave the rant out, then if members want details they can do it via PM. Repeating their story over a few PMs might help get their anger out. I'm aware most members just want to know who they can trust ... rather than feel the need to flame businesses for no reason.

Spotted a 40-something year old toss-pot in a Porsche getting spanked by my MV Agusta Brutale ... twice! I don't normally give in to hoons wanting a race ... but it was an opportunity to put "Mr Compensating" and his Porsche in line. And he wasn't very happy about it
