Render? Jesus! That just reminds me of another job I got for the house! There are days when you'll regret home ownership dude I just realised I have a problem ... I buy bikes, and I mod them. I buy cars, and I mod them. I buy houses, and I mod them I bought a lawnmower and couldn't help but modify that! What sicko modifies a lawnmower?!? I can't leave anything alone

Congratulations. Get used to being broke

I live near the Ottoway police station. My Stagea has a bodykit, mags etc ... so its not subtle. I see cops all the time and they leave me alone.
-
Yep, Stagea is going in for a bit of fun.

That's why (depending on the purpose) I'll use a credit card with 12mths interest free terms. Zero interest and I can pay it out in less than 12 months with no BS payout fee.

I purchased both my stageas (97 series 1 and 2000 series 2) from Nagoya Motors too. Both were run thru Regency for an ID inspection. My series one had a turbo timer (I didn't know about) and a pod filter. Pod filter was secured and I had no problems getting the ID check done. Was only a week or so later I stumbled upon the TT, which Regency obviously didn't go looking for. Did you fly over and drive it back? I did with my black S2. Or did you get it delivered to you? In any case, remove the TT if you can and ensure the pod is secured. You should have no problems at all. Also, when you can, get a free flowing exhaust on it. For compliancing I noticed Nagoya took my Nismo system off and fitted some stock system with a very restrictive dump pipe to the cat. Coming out on the next Stagea Cruise then?

Get in contact with the police. I was ripped off a few grand for Ohlins coilovers a few years ago by a guy in QLD (I'm in SA). Contacted their Fraud Dept and thought I'd never see my money again. Some 9 months or so later, I get a call from this guy out of the blue wanting to set things straight. Cops had busted him and he was facing jail time. There were quite a few complaints made about this guy. Took 9 months, but I got my money back. I say start up a posse, get the cops onto him, and if that doesn't work ... pay the wanker a visit!

Kellie, I would play it out like this ... Do the interview and use the 12 week rule to not discuss your pregnancy. However, if they do raise the question (highly unlikely unless you ARE visibly pregnant) then you should be honest. If you get the job, then give it a fortnight, then ask to see your manager to announce your pregnancy. Assure them you want to retain your job and would like to work out a means to return to work asap. By the time you deliver, you should have some 2 weeks accrued annual leave and 1 week acrued personal leave. Before arranging an appointment to disclose your pregnancy after the 2 weeks of starting, do check their policy on pregnant employees, and take a long hard look at the Award for your position.
-
It comes down to the rule of: is there anything you need to disclose that will affect your ability to do the job? In this case, yes. Make it an open discussion with them. You never know your luck. Negotiate a few weeks off with your accrued leave (annual and personal leave) which you could accumulate 3 weeks of by the time of birth. What are the hours of work and nature of the work? See if you can negotiate operating from home for a short period. My 2c

This time of year alot of guys pack their bikes away for the winter. I know maybe one or two guys/girls with an R6, but which one do you want? Models from 2003-2005 are different to models from 2006-2009. Might even pay to "test ride" a used R6 from the dealer, whip around the corner before the exhaust heats up, and take your measurements that way? Sorry, but "cheap" and "free flowing" and "under 110dBA" don't go together. I've always gotten the upper end exhaust systems for my bikes. Lately I can't go past Yoshimura pipes ... they also come with baffles, so you get that nice note, but still keeps it relatively quiet and free flowing. Its one or the other, but Yoshimura do a compromise very well. Arrows are too loud and the packing burns out quickly. Micron and M4 are porn ... but hell loud. Akrapovic are porn too. Quieter than other makes at idle, but loud on mid-high revs. Staintune are rubbish. I hate the look and the tin-type exhaust note. Tho they are quiet, they strangle performance. Leo Vince are also excellent exhausts like Yoshimura! Had a full system on my race bike and it was awesome, but no baffle inserts. I reckon a Yoshimura TRS (triangle shape) or RS3 (oval shape) with baffle insert (removable) is the way to go. The carbon muffler would absorb a small amount of the noise too at idle. Personally, I like the titanium one (as I have a full twin titanium system on my TLR. But you'd be looking at $1300 for full system or around $700 for can only.

I'm starting up my own business on the side too. Business management consulting. $50 per hour (plus GST) to start until I build up a stronger client base. I help out a few mates with their businesses after hours ... figured it was about time I got paid for my services (tho I do get beer for my worries). Got a few qualifications in business management, bookkeeping, accounting (inc MYOB and BillQuick), drafting (AutoCAD and Illustrator), design & construction management. [end bragging]

Good luck with that. Statistics was the biggest 'wank' subject ... but somehow I aced it.

Freddy Got Fingered is a seriously disturbed movie! I needed therapy after watching it ... especially the elephant scene!

Sounds good Nigel. Of course, undoubtedly more snags will be required, but I'm certain there would be no objection to the Club purchasing extra where required. Seeing as the profits will be going back to the club anyways. Steve/Damo, I'm assuming you guys have taken the BBQ role. Get whatever snags you guys judge to be required for the day (cans of drinks also). Oh, and my Stagea is now 100% available for this display Nigel, should it be required.

Spotted mummy's boy in mummy's Magna last night wanting to race me thru traffic in the wet. Then watched him fail to stop at an intersection and plough into another car! Pulled over. Got out. ensured everyone was okay. Gave my details. Left them with the mess. Really annoyed me tho ... I was the only car out of over 20 that saw the crash who stopped. People just don't give a shit anymore
