  1. If someone buys my BBS RG-R rims, I'd be very tempted. The Stag would look nice with that dish.
  2. Krishy's shouting drinks at the Tapp!
  3. OUCH! http://www.bannedontv.com/watch.php?vid=838
  4. If anyone wants a cheap GPS unit, Super Cheap (at Port Adelaide, not sure about the other stores) are selling the Nuvi 260 for $49!!!. Cash Cons are still flogging off these for $175 second hand I paid like $300 for mine (twice ... yes I had two thanks for thieves) some 18 months ago. They're a good unit, so I've bought another one
  5. Your workshop tonight then?
  6. Yeah I know. Like I said, no money was lost in the end. Which is why I'll leave it at ebay. If they take it no further I'm not going to sook about it
  7. Shane and I will be there too.
  8. Actually, about 4 years ago my prized TLR got defected for its indicators (which were stock), despite the fact I had a full race exhaust system on it When I took it to Regency to clear the defect, I took it on the trailer. They asked me to unload it ... but refused to help me unload it, despite seeing I had a leg injury at the time. There was no way they would let me drive the car with trailer and bike into the station, the bike had to come off. All my other encounters, they'd been happy to inspect the bikes on the trailer or help me unload them where necessary. I had some strangers help me with unloading the TLR that time. Small thing, but it annoyed me at the time.
  9. Some years ago, I took my Kawasaki GPZ750 turbo to the Sturt inspection station (yes, there are factory turbo motorbikes too) when I bought it from interstate. The inspector had a hard time finding the engine number, until I pointed out how obvious it was. Then he asked where my engineers certificate was for the turbo modification. I told him it was the turbo model from factory. He didn't believe me, blatantly refused to believe that, so I told him to go look it up. Looked it up on his system and got proven wrong. Then proceeded to ask a few questions about my 200B which I towed the bike there with. The 200B was fitted with an SR20DE engine and SC14 supercharger. However, the whole thing was engineered and regency approved ... much to the inspectors disappointment. He was certainly looking for something that day to redeem himself with.
  10. Thankfully I hadn't paid the $96 for it ... so there is no real loss. I had thought about a QLD holiday, if I HAD paid the $96. But right now I'm just amused at how 'fragile' this guy's temper is. Negative feedback obviously is rated up there with declaring war for this guy. I'll play nice and go thru the ebay avenues to get him a slap on the wrist for whatever its worth.
  11. Wow! Copping some abuse from an Ebay keyboard warrior I bid and won a crank and rods for my RS250 racebike so I could start the rebuild. I organise to bid on a piston kit he has and he agrees to wait until bidding on the next item has finished so I can take them both as the one package. Before the auction ends (3 days after winning the crank) I get an abusive email from him, saying pay now because he has other people offering mroe money for it. I promptly inform him that I am the winning bidder and we had an agreement on a combined payment for other items still at auction. He ignores me and sells the items to another buyer. Money hungry wanker. He only got 1/4 of what the crank could have gone for, but he must honour the auction. I've reported him to ebay and given negative feedback. Now he's sending abusive emails like this ... Dear **************, your a f**kn puff the crank sold for less ,you are a week little boy hid,n behind your computer , do the world a favour and f**k off - 6321kris End time:06-May-10 19:09:29 AESTSeller: Listing Status:This message was sent while the listing was closed. I've copied the email to Ebay. See what they do with the guy now. My response to him was that if he was going to send abusive emails, he should at least learn grammar and some spelling first.
  12. You should have it by now. Let me go thru the paperwork again and see where its at. Chances are I might have to reissue you another ... the odd one goes missing. Thanks Aust Post. EDIT: PM sent Craig
  13. Oh poo ... guess I won't try the trial fit then
  14. I'll also be making up some A2 sized signs with images of events we've had to date. Like the track day, cruises, dyno days, kart nights etc. So the judges can see what the club gets up to outside of car shows ... to really emphasise the club atmosphere we really do have and our involvement together.
  15. That reminds me ... I've got to sit a test tonight to upgrade my Officials Licence.
  16. Not necessarily. Shane got his L2NS to compete in the rally for Clipsal. But I'm going straight for my L2S licence to compete in the AWD challenge (Time attacks and hillclimb events). A L2NS licence entitles the competitor to compete in events such as observed section trials, touring assemblies, non-timed road events, motorkhanas, khanacross and drifting events up to International level. A L2S licence entitles the holder to compete in L2NS events plus regularity trials up to National Championship level, single and multi-car speed events (not racing) up to International level, and touring road events that do not run over closed road sections. L2S licences are the most popular CAMS licence to hold. More info here: http://www.cams.com.au/Development/Get%20I...ce%20Types.aspx
  17. Too late. He's going to see all the nasty stuff you said about him now L2NS is $55 per year for CAMS Affiliated club member L2S is $100 per year for CAMS Affiliated club member I just signed up for my L2S licence. Will be competing in the 2010 AWD Challenge.
  18. PM sent Adrian.
  19. True. Anyone got a spare RB motor for the display? Luke, if I can get an engine hoist, can we show off your RB?
  20. Don't think Andrew is all there today
  21. PM sent. Waiting for a reply.
