  2. All items for sale, including race seat, cas, fuel pump, etc no longer for sale. Sick of being dicked around.
  3. BUMP! Items are still for sale. I need to finish work on my car, so if they're not sold, then I'll just hack them up to do what I need to do.
  4. "Mommy, the car next to us has a tshirt driving it. ... oh hang on I saw a smile!"
  5. Plus Pirtek were great with making the lines there and then. Walked in, explained what I wanted, 15 minutes later I walked out. Took the turbo in tho, and the banjo bolts that screw into the block. Used coathanger wire to 'template' the length I needed for each.
  6. +1 Same here. Pirtek did a complete set for me (1 oil, 2 coolant) for just under $300 from memory. Best decision in my opinion. They look fantastic too.
  7. I've already lodged a complaint report against the seller. He's countered by marking me down as an unpaid buyer. Ebay won't do shit ... this has happened before, and they don't care. Now I gotta source parts for my race bike all over again.
  8. We barely see you at all as it is
  9. I have a sudden urge to want to go bowling NSFW http://www.break.com/index/worlds-hottest-bowler.html
  10. "You never had me ... you never had your car!" Some toss-bag on Ebay has just relisted an item I won on Friday! Won a replacement crank and rods for my RS250 race engine (which I've blown up). Claimed there was no communication, despite the fact I sent him mail saying I was bidding on his barrels and rods also, and his reply was "Great, I've got them boxed up ready to go. Let me know how you go." 2 days later, and before the bidding ends on the other items, he's reslisted them. Makes it more suss when he sent me mail today asking if I was paying soon, as there are other buyers willing to pay more for the crank. Wanker.
  11. Yeah, some of the people with "slammed to the ground" standards obviously don't have steep-ish driveways Considering I need to get my car from my driveway to the driveway at work, and back again, on a daily basis, I love how it sits right now.
  12. Steve, give me a call back and I'll detail my thoughts on this. Perhaps get in contact with them anyway (Steve or Penny) and see what they can do with regards to a group buy. Like Steve said, they're a sponsor already with a 10% and I'm sure they'll look after us. Lets not also forget that we've had a long term relationship with Auto Perfection long before they supported the club, as many people have been happy with their work and pricing ... so we're not recommending them based on their sponsorship alone. Food for thought. Having said that now, I'll put my money where my mouth is ... I like to get the front windows (except windshield) tinted a little heavier now we have these new laws on tinting.
  13. One day I'll get my consulting business off the ground properly. I can help you with your business ... bookkeeping/advice/payroll ... almost all aspects of business. Already got my ABN and business name ... just need to register the business name and start building up clientele.
  14. Looks clean and tidy ... winnar!
  15. Another point to make ... I've lost a very close friends as a result of speeding cars, and I've lost family due to speeding cars also. I make no association with their deaths and this Autobahn high speed topic. So why do you garetb16? This is a totally different environment to Australian roads, Australian road rules and Australian laws. The roads are brilliant for high speeds, the Porsche is built for fast speeds ... and its the f**king Autobahn Bayslideblue, we are all envious mate I was amazed at how good their traffic management and road maintenance is in Europe (with the exception of London and Paris) compared to Australia. I'll be going to the IOMTT next year, and if I get a chance to blast around a section of the track during my stay there, I'll certainly be doing it. Things like that are once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
  16. Awesome! Sorry but I've been on the Autobahn too. Went to Europe years ago and caught up with some Belgium mates. They lent me one of their bikes and we went over to Germany. I managed 255kph on the Autobahn on a worked Suzuki TL1000R. Was the most awesome feeling. Its one of the few places in the world where you can do it legally ... so why not if you're there! Its legal and as long as you do it within your limits, I see no harm done. I own a TL1000R (for the past 9 years) and I helped with some work on this particular TL1000R whilst in Belgium ... so I'm very familiar with this model. I'm also no stranger to a race track, having done track days for 8 years and raced 1 and a bit seasons (before a crash ended one season early). Doing 255 in a straight line is alot safer than 220 at Mallala or 245 at Phillip Island. I say good on ya mate. Its legal and its one of those boxes you can tick off in your life. So long as you're sensible whilst doing it.
  17. Earlier SMS replied. When did you want to pick it up. I have it in the back of the Stagea ... so can hold it at work (Eastwood) or home (Regency Park area) or can be at Vilis? Ruby
  18. If the builder put this engine together for you, isn't it the engine builder's problem? The builder should stand by his work. I can't see how a fresh new engine can lunch a bearing ... unless he recycled the old ones?
  19. Another person with too much money and not enough brains.
  20. I thought with was a well sought after item? $70 is a bargain ... seen them selling for $100 and more.
  21. The seat has "universal rails" so it will fit with a small bit of fiddling (ie there are holes already there for bolting into). I've made no attempt to fit this to my Stagea yet, but by simply measuring it up it convinces me it will fit.
  22. Pic of the centre console bit, just so you get the idea of what it looks like ... other bits are currently in car. Also got other bits for sale: race seat, CAS, cargo net, new water pump, Monza bov.
  23. For Sale : RS4 Stagea cargo net. I never use this cargo net, so its up for grabs for quick sale. Asking $70 pick up. Can post at buyers expense. No promises, no discussion about it. First with cash gets it. RS4 carbon fibre look centre console plastics Got CF look panels from auto stick surround up to the air vents (inc ash tray). Asking $50 plus your plain stock bits to swap. Got to make up something for my manual conversion now, and don't feel like butchering the CF look ones. PM me.
