Firstly ... sorry Dave Secondly ... sounds like it indeed was a bit of a disorganised day. Wish I was working there today to see first hand ... and hopefully have made a difference. 3pm close to the day? It rained alot on the Saturday and the competition was crash-free (but made for some awesome power-slides) I'll shot off an email tomorrow and see what I can find.

Craig, give me the numbers (not names) of those who were not happy. I'll get back in touch with the organisers and give them some feedback. I worked there on the saturday and saw a few 'problems' I want to share with them. I know they were trying out a new timing system today. I'll find out if delays were a result from this, or whatever.

Did they inform you of the likely number of runs you'd get for the day? I would have thought they'd give you some idea how many runs you'd get (like track days). I know the competitors who paid something like $190 on Saturday only got 6 runs. I'm guessing too that the $90 included the $25 day licence? Saturday was funny. Some guy in a 180B did his burnout at the warm up area in preparation for his first timed run, and all I smelt was clutch. Poor guy couldn't get up the first section to the first turn. Rolled down the high backwards and failed trying again. Surely, he must have known his clutch was gone before he entered on the day. And he blew $190 odd. At least you made it up the hill to the finish line 5 times for $90.

HKS 2530 @ 10psi + Nistune + 3" high flow exhaust + fmic = 184awkw for me (with a boost leak too). So a better tune (boost leak now fixed) and 11psi will see over 200awkw with the above combo.

Forgot to mention ... Spotted MISS VQ in her shitbox Commonwhore last weekend ... sitting up my arse down Main North Road. Then almost hitting my Stagea trying to run up the inside of me on a 2 lane into 1 merge section of road. THEN almost hitting me whilst tailgating me again when I had to turn down a mate's street. BUt clearly she's tough, having given me the finger after she was safely up the road and I couldn't turn around. Stupid thing to do when the owner sticks that thing in car shows regularly. Kellie, I have a spare tent for my bike trips. I think its only like a 2-3 man tent. I usually keep it as my back-up on camps when not in use on motorbike road trips, so I'll have it with me at Collingrove.

Correct. The hillclimb event is on Saturday and the 'come and try' is on the monday (Anzac Day being sunday).

Yes, for the saturday night. We'll be driving up on the saturday morning. I'll sign on before 8.30am (I'm assuming from that its a 9.00am start). While I'm working, Tracy and Cam will try to put the tent up. When I finish working, I will correct their poor attempt at putting the tent up Joking! Then we camp the night. On the sunday morning we pack up and go home. There is also a 'come and try' hill climb day on the monday, which they are also looking for volunteers for.
