Hey Aaron, got any pics of them on the car? Might help with the sale bud.

Tow Bar For C34 Stagea
RubyRS4 replied to chef_stagea's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
If you're that worried, hit up Salisbury Towbars. This mob did mine and they worked around my rear bar so there would be no cutting or trimming of dolphin kit. Cost me all of $320 making me a happy chappy. -

So ... my bike was stolen and recovered today!
-
The car sits behind a gate, is alarmed, insured, immobilised, and a few other little tricks I'll not discuss ... plus the home is getting a few more surveillance cameras to protect the garage and another angle on the front yard. Apparently the new system I'm looking at will also tap into my home alarm system. So when the alarm is 'on' and the motion sensors pick up movement up the driveway (or anywhere within our property), the security system will sms my mobile, so I can go online and monitor who is on my property ... whilst this is all being recorded. Now I'll just need to get my hands on some remote mounted machine guns.

Hi all, I know we get endless thread on stolen vehicles ... but I'm compelled to post up my bad luck, and good luck, this morning. My motorbike was stolen and recovered this morning. Witnessed a very suspect commodore leaving the neighbourhood ... a maroon VR or VS with silver/grey on the lower doors/bumpers. Asian occupants in the Woodville North/Regency area. Can people keep their eyes out for this? Basically, I left for work at 4.20am this morning and my bike was still parked in the driveway in front of Tracy's car. I thought it was odd that a chair I had close to my bike the day before had been moved away from my bike. But the bike was still there. Went to work, and got a call from the wife at about 10am that my bike missing. Ended up that it was hidden in the nextdoor neighbours yard!?!?! Turns out after a failed attempt to break the steering lock on the bike, or remove the ignition barrel, they thieves tried dragging the bike away .... with the steering lock still on! Obviously they hid it nextdoor behind a tree and behind some bins. I bolted home and recovered the bike. Its now safe back in the garage, with some added security on it. Still not happy that my pride and joy, my baby of 10 years has been molested. I've had this bike longer than my first marriage lasted Cops have just left, so they could sight the bike and report it as being recovered. But I'm just itching to get my hands on the wannabe thieves.

I've experienced a 10 second bike! Actually, I still ride it frequently ... does that count? Built a turboed 9 second bike, but that scared the shit outta me, so I guess I'm still not quite a 'man' yet Fords I can put up with. But if we start venturing into Commonwhore discussions, oh there'll be hell to pay
-
Don't you have your own forum to discuss Fords I'd also like to say a big thank you to Matt Sherlock, Nightcrawler, Matty T, and Vu for coming over today to move some f**kin big H beams for my floor ... and drinking my beer and eating pizza!

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
RubyRS4 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
RubyRS4 replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Washed and detailed the Stagea on friday, and she's looking show worthy. Going outside to swap the sway bars over ... now! -
I did say I knew too many people ... not one particular person. I used your comment to reinforce that statement, not single you out. If you've taken it personal, then so have 100 others I'm referring to. Take it anyway you want. People must know their limitations. If you want to DIY then research it, don't just dive into it. The fact is, people have ruined engines with guesswork. I've never destroyed an engine that wasn't on the race track. Having said that, I've learnt alot over the years both researching it, and wrecking it. So ... going back to addressing the OP ... take it to a pro. Before it becomes more costly than necessary.

Nissan Stagea Series 1 & 2 Parts
RubyRS4 replied to 21AZI's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Got pics of the front hubs for series 2? -
I've known too many people who've destroyed their own engines because they don't have a clue. Don't become an RB murderer. I do most of my own work, because I have the knowledge and the tools. But the tuning I leave with the pros.

That pic did the rounds in the Stagea section a year or so ago, and many people were ill, suffering nausea, panic attacks, or just plain hatred to such a cruel act.

Just to clarify, "lane splitting" is when a motorcycle travels between lanes of moving cars, and "lane filtering" is when a motorcycle travels between lanes stationary cars (stopped at lights etc). Now, I don't condone lane splitting (moving traffic), but sometimes I consider it necessary when two cars are driving side by side at 40kph in a 60 zone. Lane filtering (between stationary cars) is not illegal, but not entirely legal either. I had a motorcycle cop watch me do this one day and actually pulled me over to add some points on how the police (or at least him) wouldn't have a problem with it. The tip is, treat is like an overtaking manoeuvre, start in the left lane and indicate right to pass the stationary cars, by filtering between the lanes. If you reach moving traffic before you're in front, then merge back into the left lane as early and safely as possible. But I agree, there are too many newer/inexperienced riders taking way too many risks.

Well done Andrew. That car's certainly a mean package. Look forward to seeing it again ripping past me

That was ... ... please don't post that again.

Any blokes who can help with some lifting and positioning of floor frames at my place say 2pm tomorrow in the Mansfield Park area? There's beer involved. 3 weekends now getting family/friends to come around and help with no results. Ready just to lift the f**king things myself and do my back in.
