  3. Wanted: stock RB25DET (Neo) in-rail fuel pressure regulator ASAP. Anything that will suit the Neo motor ... I assume any RB25DET will do. Anyone?
  4. But is the pressure meant to hit over 60psi on startup (for about 10-15 seconds) before it drops to about 25psi. I've had a fiddle adjusting it (taking note of how any +ve turns) and it makes no diff. Pressure won't go up over about 25psi. I'm just going to put the stock one back in ... but now I can't find it Mine is the silver top 1:1 fpr.
  5. Brand new? That engine looks used. For illustration purposes only???
  6. Yes. I'm aware I contacted two Lukes Damo you twit, it was your idea for Luke ENR so I PMed him PM sent Madaz I'm sure you have the same Qs Luke has, so I have copied my reply to some questions to you also. Think it over.

  8. I ROR'd
  9. One morning at a doctor's surgery a patient arrives complaining of serious back-pain. The doctor examines him and asks him "OK, what happened to your back?" The patient replies "You know that I work for a local night club? This morning I got home to my apartment early and heard a noise in my bedroom. On entering I knew someone had been with my wife and the balcony door was open. I rushed out the balcony door and did not find anyone. As I looked down from the balcony I saw a man running out and he was dressing himself. I grabbed the fridge and threw it at him,That's how I strained my back" The 2nd patient arrives looking as if he has been in a car wreck. The doctor said "My previous patient looked bad, but you look terrible. What happened to you?" He replied, "You know I have been unemployed for a while now. Today was the first day at my new job. I forgot to set my alarm and was running late. I was running out of the building, getting dressed at the same time, and you won't believe it but I was hit by a fridge." The 3rd patient arrives; he looks even worse than the other two patients do. The doctor is shocked. Again asks, "What happened to youuuuuu.....?" "Well I was sitting in a fridge & someone threw it from the 3rd floor"
  10. He's off and racing again Tangles, when am I test riding that kwaka of yours?
  11. +1 I agree with you on the "frustration" part of driving. With so many slow zones and road works across Adelaide, its little wonder some people are getting angry behind the wheel. But at the end of the day, thats still not an excuse. I'm not aware of Sydney drivers at all to make a comparison with Adelaide, but we've seen some frightful accidents here lately involving imports. Whilst alot of us are sensible drivers, it doesn't change the fact that the media splash these stories across town and joe public demands the hoons are stopped. It also doesn't help when traffic lights do not work in sequence with each other. How many times have you left a set of lights, only to catch the next lights on a red? ... regularly? Transport SA's job is to ensure the "free flow of traffic through effective traffic management", yet all I see is congestion due to poor traffic light planning. I'm also of the opinion that the house boom some years ago enticed many people to sell their cars due to purchasing a house (and some people are doing that even now). This of course resulted in car clubs having low numbers, and even some clubs pulling up stumps (SVD was one) and the lower number of car clubs and club members meant less for car enthusiasts to do. The push is on for a motorsport complex and it is moving forward ... slowly. I'm of the opinion that most people who want the complex, won't use it. Hence the reason why we should have it, to take the "we have nowhere to go" excuse away from the hoons. There will always be drivers hooning thru city streets and the hills, but at least they won't have an excuse for it. I do believe it will make a difference to driver courtesy, patience and the road toll. Give us a motorsport venue, and I'll sure be using it regularly. I miss drag racing (It kinda sucks when you build a turbo/nitros-oxide fed drag bike, and they close AIR during the build)
  12. PM sent Luke. Okay, so Heslo is the popular one to date. Are there any other nominations? Bear in mind you will have the full support of the Committee and SAU:SA members, so its not too hard a job. Experience in organising events is not essential as long as you have good organsiational skills and the passion for it.
  13. Then give me another one then I'm lazy!
  14. I get it all the time. I'm sure the gurus are working on it.
  15. +1 Keep the rubbish out of here thanks. This thread is for an Event Coordinator nomination, not events nominations. I'd like to hear some more nominations. I will be in contact with some members/nominees during the next week to discuss this position with them.
  16. SAU:SA is taking nominations for an Events Coordinator If you are interested or know of someone who would be great for the job please PM me with the nominations. The Executive Committee is meeting again on Monday 7th September, so we would envisage having selected an Events Coordinator at this time. PM me with nominations. Be aware the nominated person is required to become a paid members of the club. I would be more than happy to sit down with any persons interested in the position to discuss.
  17. Who is going to, or would like to go to, the V8 Supercars at Phillip Island 11th-13th September? It appears I'm going alone ... but would like to share the driving if someone else is trekking over. I might be able to get someone in on a guest pass, as I'm working there. Anyone?
  18. Yay! Back from Ballarat. 7 hours goes by quick ... not! On the way over, got pulled over for 'speeding' in Nhill. Officer was nice to let me go. I had apparently done 60kph in a 40kph school zone, but the zone is poorly signed and was only 4 minutes to go for the 4pm end of school zone, and we were looking for a Maccas at the time. He was forgiving and let me off. Saw LOTS of police both sides of the border. Guess they really are trying to reduce the country road toll. Also got a call from my pommy mate on Saturday ... he crashed my race bike at Mallala Apart from a few scratches and broken lever, the bike was alright. My mate was rightfully embarassed. Guess I'm getting some new bits for it then
  19. You're always busy when you get here But I'm sure they would just for you Jess Shame, I'll be in Ballarat by the time you arrive (heading out the door in half hour). We'll catch up again some other time soon eh? We still haven't compared 'race official' stories
  20. Right you lot ... I'm off to Ballarat today for a bit of R&R for the next 4 days. To all those who've given me their membership forms for SAU:SA, I processed them and organised your membership cards, and am just confirming your transfer with the bank. Your membership cards will be received by mail and I've given Ash a list of new members for the SA members forum. I'll chase up the status of all this and finish off the rest when I get back from my holidays on Monday.
  21. If you guys think modding a car is expensive, try modding a 250cc race bike: TYGA expansion chambers and SS cans (full GP race exhaust system) - $530 GBP from UK Cougar Red racing 3 piece power valves (set of 4) - $395 GBP from UK Cougar Red race cylinder heads (set of 2) - $395 GBP (both) from UK Spares: Cylinder heads (coated) - $287.10 GBP each (x2) from UK Thats $1,894.20 GBP = $3,759.88 AUD Thats not including delivery from the UK, or the dyno time to tune it all in. What have I gotten myself into? Thank God the bike's already had a complete engine rebuild, gearing kit and brake upgrade! Plus enough spares to crash the bike 2 times over Problem is we'd be realistically rebuilding the engine every 6 months, so that about $1,500 each year.
  22. Sinful
  23. I'll be doing the same ... but I'm sick of the recorders that shut off when mounted to a bike. Going to get myself a helmet cam
  24. I'm on my second (larger) cooler now in my Stagea and I've not had to come anywhere near cutting my reo bar. While my current one is 76mm thick, I'd have no probs with a 100mm thick cooler ... plus there's room for a separate trans oil cooler to be fitted shortly (fitting a 52mm alloy radiator in time for summer).
