  1. Benm, your soft! Get your arse out to Oran park and Cheer on the 3 boys from SAU... crowd support is a major part of the scoring in drift... and it is D1 style, so it will be great to watch after lunch!
  2. I would love to come adrian, but have team commitments which I am probably saying no to and that would also mean 3 weekends of racing in a row... might not get married after all
  3. easy tosh... find the M4, head towards Katoomba/penrith. keep going AAAALLLLLL the way to the northen road, turn left (away from penrith) and then stay on that road till you get there... Or go through cambeltown I think coming along the M5?
  4. How did you get that info Sonic... can you confirm? Gee, that would be huge if SAU got coverage again from SPEED... do you know if it is the same bloke covering this event as the SnS?
  5. come out for a look Hawkes... should be a good chance of an SAU boy making top 4 if not winning the day... fingers crossed!
  6. yeah I know... niether do skylines
  7. thanks dude. So who else is entering... and who is just coming to watch?
  8. Don't forget that spare rubber toshi... other wise I might have to withdraw after the qualifying!
  9. I'd say your probably not trying hard enough... come up to Oran Park on Sat and I'll demonstrate how to kill a few sets!
  10. Kinks you have done well my son... I see that you have mastered the art of dis-re-spect to da tyre! So you coming for a swing in the drift comp this Saturday (22nd)? Sounds like a very nice day... shame I couldn't make it. Next time I'm there! Dan.
  11. ok guys, looks like $130 a car, no passengers allowed, spectators $10 I have entry for if anyone wants one. need to let me know by thursday arvo so that I can book you in though.
  12. /steps into ring, quickly says following. Given the question I would buy a GTS-t... why, with $26k of mods it would turn a decent outing at all the three dissaplines, and beat the GT-R at each. although I have not driven a GT-R, I haven't driven a GTS-t with $26k of mods on it either... so I base my descision on what I'm able to learn through others... (Might add that a R32 GT-R would really shake things up abit... especially with that wonderful fuse!) /jumps out of ring and runs for door trying to evade all angry braws occuring in the crowds!
  13. Firstly. Guys, please no more refferences to illigal street drifting. Would be nice if you maybe removed that from your post too guys And back to the question. I would consider that seems to be most shagged, if your diff is only spinning one wheel, then your still gonna find it a pig to drift with decent suspension in. however if your diff is still spinning two wheels then it is really your choice. I would probably just put a diff ahead of suspension, but not by much. A very good and reasonably cheap suspension kit for a beginer is the whiteline kit (which just happens to be going for $2055 in a group buy with a years Membership to SAU-NSW included, $2k for members) anyway... hope that helps a bit. Dan.
