Gt3582R 0.82 4Bolt
snozzle replied to snozzle's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
still for sale guys $1570 to your door -
if the problem is the ring lands or rings theres an extremely low chance of it being a simple replace the piston and put new rings on situation, the bore will be marked quite abit and the only way to remove them is to bore out the cylinders and fit oversized forged pistons if its a valve problem then u may get away with a hone and new rings onto the current pistons (assuming the pistons arent damaged)

it seals the gap between the throttle plate and the throttle body bore when closed shut, when you clean them the seal thats there which isnt mentioned in the nissan manuals gets removed in some spots and causes an internal air leak on idle it causes the engine to idle over 1000rpm depending on how bad the leak is even with the idle screw put all the way in. theres a pic in this thread that shows the air comming through which is where the extra air is comming in on idle causing it to idle high

Update time: 2 weeks ago i got a yellow sticker on the car as I drove past a few cops setup near my workshop that were checking the contents of commercial vans/utes and even big trucks and heres a pic of it as it went over the pits: List of things i had to do.. Fit stock suspension Fit 34R wheels with good tread Remove HIDS Remove LED park lights Secure Pod filters with brackets Fit child restraint brackets Remov PowerFC hand controller Fit a stock exhaust system with a stock(ish) cat Remove tint as its too dark <---most painful part And after all that it passed first go! So instead of bolting back on my old do-luck exhaust i actually sold it as I was getting sick of how loud it was and I bought a 5zigen system last week from a local shop called Styled to Race in O'connor. I must say, it is VERY quiet even with a decat which was what i was after but i didnt think it would be this quiet lol Performance is still quite similar even though its a 3.14" system compared to my old 3.5" system which is excellent and excuse the 4wd spec, rear end is still running standard shocks coz im too lazy to change them! also, the ground clearance on the center muffler is kinda iffy.. im scared to dump it now lol

R32 Gtr Rb26 Rb25 Nismo Defi
snozzle replied to Got One!'s topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
do all 4 gauges come with sensors and link cables? -
to my knowledge, the r34 gtr front pipe is bigger than the r33 gtr one and flows quite well, well, better than the 33 gtr one anyway, its a 10min job to change, why not?

Wastegate Of Choice For Rb26 Gt35 Setup?
snozzle replied to snozzle's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Well i called kyle today and he told me the 44mm is too small and will cause boost spiking, he said the 50mm turbosmart gate is what he would recommend, he said the 44mm may work if its located on the top housing but even then, its not gauranteed and is much more expensive to do. i think im set on a 50mm gate now which will be run off the manifold, i dont want to touch the rear housing of the turbo cheers for the input guys -

Wastegate Of Choice For Rb26 Gt35 Setup?
snozzle replied to snozzle's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Is that the wastegate your running Simon? -
Hey all Going for the old GT35 single conversion for my rb26 but the more and more i search up about wastegates, the more i am confused.. It seems the same size in different brands seem to flow differently What size and brand wastgate do people recommend for a gt35 0.82 running on a stock rb26 to net perfect boost control? Id like to run boost control without an EBC if possible

hey all as topic says let me know what you got, need it ASAP and i need to see pics of it too must be full stainless steel, not restrictive but relatively quiet cheers oz

snozzle replied to gdzlar1's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
interested in the TEIN castor rods, i see one of the rods is missing those silver spacer things, do you have them? -
does anyone know if these bolt straight onto a standard unopened r33 gtr rb26 ? or do you need to get a crank collar machined to suit it?
-
I can seal them for you mate..
