  1. that is definitely wrong then, your wastegate flaps must not have enough preload on them or arent shutting properly
  2. how does it drive when u remove the vac hose from the actuators ?
  3. And the power curve is still rising as u hit limiter.. awesome turbo man
  4. 1L per 1000kms for a standard engine? that's ridiculous!
  5. how often was that driven on that kind of power marko?
  6. my gtr is running on a base map atm with barely any timing in it and its still building over a bar of boost before 4300rpm lol i doubt its your tune, good luck finding your issue
  7. Damn Simon, that is a very impressive result! You have quite some faith in that 25!
  8. Thanks eric. Not sure why you think my current radiator is going to blow up? I even got it pressure tested it yesterday and they said its perfect. I have never had over heating issues either even with that fat 100mm intercooler in the way!
  9. FYI: i have seen them make 415awkw - i dont see why they cant support up to 450kw ?
  10. Well I fired her up and shes running SWEET! Quite happy with how well it runs. Thanks to the help of a friend who has a bit of experience with datalogit, we Reset the power fc to standard settings and then trimmed the injectors down and changed a few other settings aswell. Even took it for a spin and its running awesome, lacking some top end power because we took some timing out and put 5% extra fuel just as a bit of safety till the tune day Here are some pics i took today: I modified a bracket i found to mount the map sensors, sits pretty good! pics of the engine bay - all its missing is the strut brace but other than that is now complete
  11. My tuner told me that pod filters may aid in fixing my boost curve falling over so thats why ive gone this route. + its cheaper to do this rather than to get adaptors to eliminate the afms believe it or not I do know of a few jap built r34 gtr's running the stock airbox with a bigger intake snorkel making much much power than i am though so thats some food for thought
  12. I didnt have much time to work on it today but still managed to get a few little things done. I managed to find some 3A pods for 30 bucks each I ended up drilling another nipple into the bottom of twin turbo pipe just above the turbos and getting my pressure source for the solenoid from there. Installed the filters. I'm not sure why they look pink, probably due to the flash from the camera, but in person they are dark red and look sweet I also got my radiator cleaned and pressure tested by natrad. All i need to do now is install the radiator, fill her up with some coolant and water, install the cas, mount the map sensors and get the map sensor loom through the firewall, install the ecu and wire in the 2 wires into the afm signal pins on the ecu loom, tweak a few settings on the power-fc and shes ready to start!
  13. Re-tuned, but i doubt id would need much re-tuning anyway
  14. Results: SR20DET fitted with a GTX3076 .82 tuned with BP98 Fuel - 408hp @ 1.5bar Well the GTX3076r looks to be identical to the GT3082r ! (both turbos were using the same rear housing) Below is the Power and torque readings @ 1.5bar The boost actually starts off at 1.4bar and creeps to 1.5bar toward redline Thick line is Hi boost setting, Thin line Lo boost setting It had almost the exact same power delivery Below is a graph of both turbos Thick line is the GT3082r which made 409hp at the same boost and 445nm of torque - Thin line is the GTX3076r - 408hp and 437nm of torque Interesting..
  15. why dont you remove the butterflys?
  16. an old r33 gtst of mine had a broken stud and didnt leak from the cylhead/manifold gasket at all for the 5-6 months i had it guess i was lucky
  17. awesome! love the chrome is it just me or does that engine sit really low? the clearance at the bottom seems to be perfect still, the r31 must have a tall engine bay or something
  18. finally.. the goods have arrived throttle bodies cleaned with tooth brush and solvents throttles installed after a couple hours of swearing at the f**ker the plenum was finally installed too... new o-rings, rubber spacers transferred onto the injectors and then they were installed into the rail with the help of a little grease shes getting there....
