  2. Ok thanks, 700cc's it is! Still need some sort of direction on installing the map sensors for the dejetro without taking the plenum off.
  3. Yep, it spikes then falls over instantly then comes back up then slowly dies off again. Dont know the settings off the top of my head. Are you running a profec? Well that rules the 800cc's out then haha. Can anyone confirm the 700cc's are drop in? The cam gear shortcut is sounding abit risky, i will just do it properly.. lol Thanks for your help dude.
  4. Hey all, Planning a few mods for the gtr So i have a few questions for those who have been there done that already Firstly i plan on installing a Power fc DJ, a pair of adj cam gears and bigger injectors. aiming for around 320kw atw with my -7 turbos and stock camshafts. Does anyone have pictures of where they have successfuly got their vacuum feeds from for their 2 map sensors without removing the plenum etc? Has anyone gotten away with replacing cam gears by taking the top timing cover off only? if possible i want to avoid stripping the whole front end. Ive narrowed down my injector choice down to sard 700cc (black.blue) and sard 800cc (light green colour) Is it true that the 700cc injectors from sard are a true drop in item? no rewiring involved? has anyone used them before? What is the most effective way of holding a solid 1.2-1.3bar of boost? Ive had trouble with my profecb in the past, boost falls over at even 1 bar but it never used to do that when the standard boost solenoid was in there. Any advice is much appreciated! oz
  5. if the problem is present on idle just unplug the coilpacks 1 by 1, whichever is the one that doesnt make a difference to how it runs is obviously the dud one. swap that over to another cylinder and see if the problem has carried over to that cylinder. if it does then that means the coilpack is screwed. if the problem is still in that cylinder, that means your problem is elsewhere
  6. Hey all, Ive had these sitting around for a while, i was planning on buying sensors and wiring from visionr but i think im better off spending coin elsewhere gauges are: oil pressure oil temp coolant temp white face, the digits and lines light up green and the needle lights up red, they actually look pretty good $150 for all 3 Located in Perth but can pack them up nicely and do Express post for an extra $15 0401564822

  9. ok makes sense.. but is the difference in material a longetivity thing or do they operate differently due to the difference in material?

  14. Ive got a power fc so its really easy to do it, no need for a multi meter etc. I re-adjusted the tps so that it now reads 0.47v with throttle off (it actually flickers back and forth from 0.46 to 0.47..) and 4.22v at full throttle. I started the car up 5 times since then and the 4wd has worked every time! Thanks a million for the info, George, and also thanks to the topic starter.
  15. interesting, ive been having the random rwd mode problem too.. ill also check my minimum tps voltage thanks for the info edit: i just checked it out now, it reads 0.28v on idle and 3.98v on full throttle (engine not running)
