  1. wow, ive never seen them in such good condition before...... its like they have just been on a show room car for years good luck with the sale dude
  2. thanks man, i have a soft spot for r32 gtr's too dont worry! equally jelous Tu.6TT: are you talking about the intake snorkel that diverts are into the airbox? if so, thats a genuine item - ill be selling it as soon as i have my pod filters installed which will be in about 10 days
  3. no, the rolling circumference of the all 4 wheels is the same, thats all that matters i got the wheels off a widebody s13.5 that i bought which i stripped for parts - i kept the wheels
  4. haha those first set of pics show the tyres that came with the wheels when i bought them, they were 225 40's - took them off within a week as i was scared the tyre was going to pop off... WHICH IT DID luckily it happened on a cold night when i parked my car and not while i was driving..... i now have 245 40's on them and it seems to be perfect, although the front wheels rub on full lock with is annoying but i guess i have to put up with it lol rims are 18 x 10 -15 on the front and -2 on the rears i originally had the -15's on the rear and they stuck out ALOT and the -2's on the front just sat flush so i just swapped them over and now they have averaged out - i guess the front gaurds on the 33gtr are bigger than the rears haha yeah im planning on lowering the fronts some more but my coilover is at its lowest.... if i want to lower it anymore i need to change the springs
  5. only 12 in perth
  6. try bypassing the solenoid all together, put the pressure source directly to the actuators and that should be ur minimum boost level
  7. so its always ran 1.5bar and you want to lower it? maybe the actuators / restrictors / vac line setup wont allow the turbo to go below 1.5bar
  8. id bet its dead - has it ever been working? can ur car even handle -5's on1.5bar ? lol not sure on how to test it but another thing u can try is make sure all the vaccum lines involving boost control are in tact and theres nothing blocking them
  9. sounds like your actuators arent opening.. maybe the solenoid is dead and isnt letting any boost pressure go to the actuators
  10. hmmmmm i wasnt aware of this thread - it must have got accepted ages ago when i thought it didnt lol.. i may aswell post up my updates: Pics: I have been collecting a few parts Car is booked in for a tune on 2nd of feb hoping for 320kw
  11. well.. if its lasted 3 years and is still running sweet today, not burning oil etc, im sure its been built some sort of standard - but as said earlier, it could go bang 2moro or could go for another 5 years - too many variables!
  12. i dont understand why they arent that size to begin with.... damn nissan lol
  13. thanks for all the responses guys, i have decided to leave them as is cheers
  14. i have the intake snorkel but im in perth how much r u willing to pay?
  15. hey all im not sure if my manifolds have been port matched to the -7's i have installed so im thinking of removing them as i see its a common thing thats done on most twin setups. is it worth taking them off to do this before my tune in 2 weeks? im hoping to run 1.3 bar through them labour will be free but ofcourse ill have to use new gaskets so that will be the only cost has anyone done back to back testing with and without port matched manifolds? would it be a waste of time for my 320kw goal? thanks oz
  16. if you did a search on these forums for "mines ecu" you'll find alot of ppl bagging them even if u did get the car to run, thers only a slight chance the tune is going to be safe and im pretty sure those ecus dont even go into R and R if knock is detected - id choose a stock ecu over a mines ecu lol better luck next time!
  17. my afms have slightly different voltage to one another too - i think its normal
  18. does anyone have links to rb26 cam gear tuning threads/articles? I cannot find any?
  19. Received this today. Thanks mate.
  20. whats the best way to test actuators? what kind of tools do u actually use? my actuators are adjustable so i may aswell test them out to see if the person who installed them did a good job
  21. Aslong as they are trimmed down, there should be no difference, i have seen 420awkw made from these 700cc injectors (tangomatts r34 gtr nur) and thats more than ill ever be able to achieve so its got the head room i need too, especially if i want to use e85 later on even these are kind of small... Only 2 things i need to determine now is how im going to do my dejetro install and boost control and im set
  22. LO setting (hits 1.1bar when i floor it then bleeds down to 0.85bar then creeps back up to 0.95bar) -54% -gain: 13% -set gain 0.50 x 100kpa HI setting (hits 1.2 bar then bleeds down to 1bar then creeps back up to 1.15bar) -62% -gain: 13% -set gain 0.66 x 100kpa these are the settings i have done myself, the boost control was alot worse than this when i got it back from my tuner, it would hit 1.2bar on HI setting then bleed down to 1 bar. by increasing the duty cycle of the wastegate and lowering the set gain, i managed to improve the average boost level but it seems that my solenoid is just not setup correctly, making it hard to get the settings right. im thinking that if i can set it up properly, manipulating the settings should be this hard My solenoid was mounted in the stock boost solenoids position, the vacuum line at the very back of the plenum was pulled out, this was the line that went to my actuators, a vac line was then put onto that nipple and back to the actuator as a pressure source. this time round, im going to mount the solenoid on the turbo side of the engine with much shorter and equal length lines to the actuators or.. i can manipulate the stock boost solenoid to give me 1.3bar of boost or i can just buy hks actuators lol
  23. im glad i dont have to bother with that now .. sard 700cc's have been purchased does anyone know how to use restrictors with the stock boost solenoid so that i can run more than 1 bar? it seems its a better boost controller than my profec lol DVS32R can you explain how you have setup your solenoid? Last time my car got tuned, i left it up to the tuner to install the profec, thinking they know how to do it right but it seems there must be a better way.
  24. Thanks for the advice, ill follow up on that. A pair oh HKS actuators would do me pretty well right now.. Ill keep a look out for a pair
