  10. Well i finally got my ass down to the drags.   12. if it touched for a split second there shouldnt be any damage but at worst im pretty sure it will just blow a fuse or two.. check them

  17. stupid question here but are you sure the engine was running when you noticed the lack of oil pressure and engine oil check light? from your post it sounds like you noticed it after the engine stalled? Just because it was running yesterday doesnt meet it will run fine forever you should check oil on any car you drive which the history is unknown! especially in a high performance car check all the fuses
  18. i forgot to post my results in here: Unopened RB26DETT Stock cams HKS Cam gears (inlet at 0 Exhaust retarded 2 degrees) -7 turbos TOMEI s/s dump pipes 3.5" do luck exhaust Trust 100mm fmic walbro fuel pump stock fuel reg Sard 700cc injectors Power-FC D'jetro 398.3hp at all 4 hubs @ 1.2bar Power vs torque Power vs boost pressure Car also ran 353.5hp on a roller dyno with the shaft out Car seems to be getting wheelspin on the dyno as it flat lines at 350 for quite some time... damn roller dynos!! lol
  19. thanks mate i went to my tuner yesterday arvo and he dropped the idle down to 950 however he had to tweak some settings in the the power fc and add some more fuel into the idle as it had a lean idle hunt. Idles perfect now
  20. Installed a pair goodridge braided brake lines Did a full fluid flush with this stuff while i was there.. Parts from nissan arrived! Part numbers are in the pic below for future reference; Clutch master cylidner Piston kit to suit R32/33/34 GTR: 30611-05U25 Clutch booster R32/33/34 GTR: 30630-05U01 Pulled the plenum off again to fix the high idle (1250-1300rpm) Clutchbooster/master assembly removed - bitch of a thing to remove, had to undo the brake pedal and pull the brake booster out to be able to remove the pingpingpingping of a thing Booster fail Breakdown of the parts inside Master cylinder assembled Bolted onto the new booster Back to the idle problem.. You can see the air comming through the tiny gaps which is causing the high idle Tomei to the rescue Throttles installed Currently idles at a solid 1000rpm with idle screw in half way - powerfc wont let me go below 1000rpm so need to tweak that down to 950 and she will be sweet! I've also put the propshaft back in so no more rwd fun for me. =[ Next up on the to do list: -front suspension - dumping the front roughly 1 inch lower and possibly the rear too just a tad -ordering in a just jap catch can -install my gear and handbrake boots
  21. Nothing wrong with a knock level of 27. Anything over 40 will get me worried but on a cold night it never goes over 20 no matter how hard im driving it and im very happy with that. Theres a possibility that your low knock level is due to a too conservative tune? (if that makes any sense) Room for more power maybe? How much power are you making and on what boost?
  22. your valve clearance wont go out the window like that, change your oil to something thicker, i use penrite fully synth in 15w50 and i get f**k all lifter ticking and perfect oil pressure
