I have finally have my GTR on the road again so have no need for my temp track car. I has been a joy to drive and put many other cars to shame. It has been resprayed in 2 Pac Nissan R34 GTR Bayside blue by Joe at Pro Finish Custom Painting, unfortunately I have scratched the rear bumper, bonnet, drivers guard and front bumper. Bad enough that it should be painted over. There are no dents in the pannels however just scratches. There is much good news about this car though. The motor was rebuild at NISSPEED 6months ago and has the following specs: Full Blue print assembly Balanced (pistons, rods, crank, flywheel and clucth, harmonic) Forged Wiesco pistons (1.5mm over for more capacity) Forged Eagle Rods ARP cap bolts NDC bearings New Lifters Gold 2 pac rocker cover ARP head studs Adjustable cam gears Steam pipe 4-1 exhaust manifold Haltech F9 ECU OEM Ignition (knock feedback and retard) EVO 9 injectors Walbrow 255 intank pump Custom Modified OEM side facing Plenum- This setup with the intercooler provides a very short and direct inlet track for minimal lag and very crisp trootle response. Water to Air Long Flow Intercooler with Alloy radiator and electronic pump also remote alloy water filler R33 GTST Series 2 Turbo (ceramic turbine wheel, Carbon composite Compressor-very responsive) Heavy Duty Organic Clucth (holds well and is kinder on the gearbox) Gearbox from a 626(pretty sure internals are no stronger but ratio's are better for the track) filled with redline Shock proof oil. ARD Approved Winged racing seats (ADR forms in the glove box) Full 3" Exhaust with Magnaflow resi and Muffler(not to loud, just right) Custom cold air induction and Pod Filter Front Mount Oil cooler Familia rear hatch with dual spoilers Koni damper adj suspension Adj camber kit Polished Performance 5 Spoke rims(needs 4 new tyres) Guages mounted above stereo in dash (boost, oil pressure, oil temp) also led illuminated switches for ACC and ON Pivot Starter button(lights up blue) Slotted and Dimpled gold pasivated front discs Momo millenium style steering wheel (very small) Power steering Running and Tuned on E85(99c at litre from seaton united) also has a tune for BP98 Made 207kw and 420nm (at the wheels) before the plenum was modified. Dyno sheets will come with the car. I would expect her to have even more torque now. Cam gears have yet to be played with. Absolutley Insane and light little machine. Handling in extremmely impressive. Car has been set for slight over steer and 4mm tow out at the front gives nice responsive steering...although on the street bump steer is slightly noticable. She has been sitting for a coulpe of months and I would love to keep her but I need some cash to fund my other track car. It does need some love and tlc, however only cosmetic. The money, engineering and mods have been spent on all the right things to ensure this is a rewarding and reliable package for years to come. It needs the following to bring her up to spec: New set of semi slick tyres (kuhmo KU36) Paint over scratches( Pro Finish Custom painting- Joe) add some rego Neaten up Haltech wiring also recommend a roll cage Collinsgrove Hill Climb, Old Motor Completed the hillcimb as fast as an EVO 10. 3#sec zone. can't remember the exact time 323 At Mallala Spents well over $10,000 asking around $5,000 Contact me on 0413023669 or SMS that you have sent a PM Regards, Matt Will post up some pics when I get home.

Help Me Decide Which Turbos For A Street/track Setup Gtr
BoostdR replied to BoostdR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I feel the twin turbo pipe mod may cause some restriction on the front turbo. I would rather go with a HKS or chinese hard pipe kit that has a smooth transition. I am looking at installing 6boost manifolds so will need a custom setup to suit anyway as the rear turbo outlet fouls on Kyle's manifold. -

haha, I like it. Unfortunately I have had the squeally pads before and absolutely hate it...must be getting old(32). I would prefer to replace the pads more often to be honest. I will let you guys know how the pads go and update you and on the Brakes/Suspension thread. -

The Angle on the Camera is not optimal, but here it is anywho I went with Intima SR pads which are also a dual purpose street/track pad. Also grabbed some DBA slotted rotors, including pads $599 NON METALLIC ORGANIC ARAMID FIBRE MATERIALS (DON'T CHEW INTO ROTORS) High thermal stablility from 0 to 700 degC ! Average 0.4µ to 0.5µ@ 700degC Typical application: Performance Street and Circuit Track use. LATEST TECHNOLOGY MATERIALS These pads are formulated to take a thrashing. Made from extreme temperature, organic aramid fibre materials that don't chew up your disc rotors. Intima is one of the largest Performance Brake Pad Suppliers to the Japanese Market. We stock a range of Street Race Series performance brake pads for Japanese and European performance vehicles with better specifications & performance as other big-name expensive pads but at much less cost. -

Will do, In all I was happy with how the car performed. I'm off the Collinsgrove Hill Climb on the 28th Aug...will be fun to get some anti-lag launches happening. I cracked a disc rotor yesterday at the track so looking at my options atm... Not sure on what pads. Want a street/track pad. Obviuosly the best of both worlds...no squeal, low dust, low wear and high friction CoE.. Hawk DTC 60-70? may be noisy -

It's at the Fly Marko. Was 457kw at the wheels. Fuel setup currently is a GTR pump and single 044. I have another 044 to go in. Injectors(1000cc) are pretty much out of flow already even with my high rail pressure. -

The CAMS I ended up using are much smaller than 272 with just under 10mm. They work extremmely well. The Prelude was that we actually ordered a set of JUN 272's for a customers track GTR with -10's but by mistake got the lower duration and figured we will give them a go...results were very impressive and suprising to say the least. -

Hi all, I ended up with a 89mm sleeved bore rb263# ?? HKS GTRS turbo's, E85 and 8.7 to 8.8:1 Comp for E85. I have had it on the Dyno for a initial tune. Maxed the fuel pump out @ 534kw and 20psi. I have a new fuel pump now and will install and get it happening. Will be playing with the ingnition trasition onto boost and the cam gears for some extra response. I am using Stainless Mani's but may see if the 6boost ones fit without having to move all my lines. Matt Before and after. Similar response with more power For those wanting to know if the HKS version of turbo is better. I can say they still surge slightly when loading up on boost in a high gear/low rpm...sound like a Cho cho train. I have no BOV's. Installing the std BOV's would prob fix most part throttle surge...but it's very minor and doesn't bother me. -
I'll be there with a couple friends for grip
