  1. Should be no issue as it is less than 25% increase in capacity. Need to check your individual state law however
  2. yes, the controllable area's of the Map are limited. I'm sure the Nistune guys can fill you in. Since your also in Adelaide...we most likely talk to the same person =) Especially if he drives a mazda 121 with a twin cam.....
  3. M35 Stagea Axis Autech Front Brakes Disc's and Calipers Done 70,000km's Good condition Offers $ PM or 04013023669 Matt Located in Adelaide
  4. yeep
  5. Knock control from Nistune is great however you will find that the controlable map points are very limited(up to 4500rpm only) So after this RPM both nistune and PFC will let the engine Ping...just the PFC will let you know about it The Resolution of the Nissan map is less than the 20x20 of the PFC which gives smoother more accurate response at any power. Especially in the transition onto boost area where high resolution can do wonders to drivability. They are both good for there respective cost.. but you do get more functionality when you pay more.
  6. Caltex E85 news E85 is great for a track car. I am running +9 degrees over the BP98 map. I have run out of Injector though(1000cc) Mind you cold start requires 70% more fuel...as ethanol doesn't like to go bang when cold.
  7. RB31DETT HKS GTRS's JUN Cams PFC ARC FMIC (big one) twin 3" to single 4" to 5" exhaust and other tricks 716hp-534kw @ 20psi No injectors or fuel flow left. Will add another pump and get it happening
  8. what is the line internal diameter?
  9. pm me very best price on ppg gearbox what are the ratio's? cheers matt
  10. New Cometic Metal Shim Head gasket to suit RB26dett RB30, etc 88mm bore (can be used on 86-88mm but will reduce comp slightly) 1.3mm thickness Multi shim style Very good quality I use these exclusively but went with a 1mm instead $265 posted (boxed up saftely ready to go) located in SA 0413023669 or PM Matt
  11. Is your turbo oil return big enough?
  12. They are JIC -10. Speedflow -10 is JIC -14 I upgraded to 19mm ID hose when a heat sheath shield into a Y pipe. Smoke is all gone.
  13. Seems ok know. Have done a few hundred km's without any problems.
  14. I have a spare gasket left over from my build. Cometic 88mm 1.3. will do you trade price if you need it. new in box Matt
  15. I am using the factory steel lines, they bent up 38mm. This is the oil returns. I should have used a 38mm T25 turbo flange shim. Would have put them all back in the standard position along with the dumps/front pipes. I have changed my hoses from 8.9mm ID to 19mm ID(STD size) and had a Y piece made up so they both travel down hill the entire way. As long as the Tee isn't to restrictive I should be fine now. I have put a heat shield sheath on the rear line as it goes around the rear dump. Talked to the guys at MTQ who said the turbo housing have a .8mm restrictor inside but I may need smaller if they still leak. Will know how its goes tomorrow.
  16. I have my motor running but the turbo's are leaking oil. looks like my return lines are to small. How did you guys do yours? I used a Tee into the std block inlet. Is this enough flow?
  17. no, they were made up. guy made a mistake with my speed flow -10 quote which is actually -14 JIC. way to small. changing them tomorrow.
  18. !!! Oil pump wasn't the issue. Was my return lines on the turbos being a restriction. Matt 7kgcm2 at idle cold 4.5kgcm2 warm at idle
  19. I had another look and I do have the "M" restrictor bolt. I have installed 1.5mm restrictors in the banjo's which did help a smidge maybe. I hada think about it and pulled the Tee off installed a divider so the rear turbo drain oil doesn't effect the front as its an easier path for the rear turbo oil flow to go past the outlet and into the front turbo line before being pushed back and out the outlet causing more restriction on the front turbo return. I have pretty much no smoke at all now. Will go for a drive and check that it clears out of the exhaust. I will be revising my return lines as they are not optimal .89 mm ID. Be be interesting if they are ok at high rpm when more flow is required. Elite was correct pointing out my oil pump wasn't the problem. Matt
  20. more info. I haven't put the M restricted bolt in the block. I am have drilled a grub screw to 1.5mm and threaded my banjo bolts to simulate the block restrictor The front turbo looks like the only one to be leaking into the exhaust. I will also look at the Tee piece. looks like the uphill section may be causing an issue as stated by elite. Matt
  21. can I get a JIC Y piece?
  22. also , when the oil pressure drops there is less smoke.
  23. ok. I have checked a few things. The Oil pressure when cold is 7kg cm2 when half warm its 4.5kg cm2 (didn't want to let it idle to long) I have found my front pipes are dripping with oil at the join in the lowest place when untightend. The comp is all good. Perfect actually. The plan is to fit some .8mm banjo restrictors in the bolt that on the side of the turbo. Will call Enzed 2or pertek....or make my own
