  1. 1 Year bump... Yes they're still not sold, condition is identical they've just been sitting in my garage. Price drop $200!! Take them!! NOTE: Comes with wheel nuts too.
  2. I can't keep witty sentences of mine down to 140 characters let alone think of a single word for a number plate so I just got 43QEL (AEQEL) ... I'll probably change it if I can think of something...
  3. Shouldn't really matter too much to be honest. Just 55w will be brighter and use more power. Is there a specific reason you're going HID Xenon's? As Kinks said, the reflectors aren't designed for HID's and can cause weird light spreads that can really disturb oncoming traffic and might get you some unwanted attention from the popo. Light is more than just light and not all light is the same. If it's colour you want, just get some 5000K halogens (That's 5000 Kelvins, a colour temperature) to get a really nice white coloured light that is almost touching blue in appearance. Phillips Diamond Vision bulbs will do the trick and it's a direct plug into the existing lights, too easy.
  4. Have you got the driver side power window switch finisher for an R33 in good condition?
  5. $400 ONO Brisbane, QLD Pick up only. Completely immaculate except for two, inch long gutter rashes on one of the wheels. Pictures below. Tyres have 50% tread. Also currently listed on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=150481779652 Pictures of gutter rash on one of the three rims.
  6. Boom, got it working. Thanks a heap Chris. It really improved my sound with BBE alone and doesn't look to flashy, not to mention it was free so I don't think you can beat that. Kudos once again.
  7. Unfortunately no remote for the 7982. There's three switches on the back of the G150, Phase (0 degrees, 180 degree's for sub I assume), Mode (st, mono), Bus (on, off). I'm guessing it's the bus switch to turn the AINet bus on or off. So I'm guessing I plug two RCA's from the head unit into the L/R ports labelled I and then connect the amp to this? Where would it get the power though?
  8. Hello All, When I bought my car it still had the stereo in it from Japan. It consisted of an all Alpine system including a 3 stacker cd player, sound field processing unit and a 4x40w amp. Long story short.... I got the head unit replaced with a basic Sony one and professionally installed and told them to use the amp to power the speakers which they did and it's working fine. However, the sound processing unit was apparently of no use and can no longer be used and therefore taken out. Which is a pitty because I quite liked it and it gave me lots of information about clipping that's happening and now that I've got a couple sub's on the way, I would like to be able to use it to control that too. It is the thing I want to get working. Model number: ERA-G150 I've taken pictures of the sound processing unit, the amp and the old head unit for reference. By the looks of it, the only wire connecting from the sound processing unit to the head unit is a small 6 pin molex connector which I'm assuming is power. It has two blue with white stripe wires, one yellow and one thick black, two are empty. Could it be as simple as this to get it working? Back of sound processor, the thick wire I've identified as the male connection as which is available on the back of the unit labeled changer. I think it's an AINet cable. Front of sound processor and upside down head unit that came with everything. Amplifier. Back of amplifier, not a single AINet input similar to that on the sound processor in sight...
  9. w00t, fellow HoN players exist! I used to play DotA but stopped for about a year in the mean time switched to linux then heard HoN has a Linux client so installed it now I'm getting back into it again. I pre-bought my account ages ago. Username: aeqel <-- Add me! I normally played support/disable/caster roles on DotA and that doesn't really work when with randoms... I find myself having great lane dominance then everything breaks as soon as the lanes merge. =(
  10. bump. My HoN username is aeqel Give me a whisper, it sucks playing pub with people who are usually running around doing their own thing especially when I've always played support in DotA. ><
  11. So I know the Nissan LEAF boasts an iPhone app/connectivity for extra cool features. At first I thought this was just preliminary and it couldn't be proprietary to Apple. Then today I was checking out the release of the iPhone 4 on Engadget ( http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/07/steve-j...from-wwdc-2010/ ) and noticed an interesting mention of Nissan LEAF which gave me the impression that Nissan might actually be making the LEAF only compatible with the iPhone. So I checked out the Nissan LEAF website. Tell me this video doesn't remind you of Apple. http://www.nissanusa.com/leaf-electric-car...PFA.Button.Leaf. I'm quite concerned, I wouldn't buy a LEAF (if I could) if it requires an iPhone to take full advantage of it.
  12. Close but: 0 degrees Celcius is 273.16 Kelvin 0 Kelvin is -273.16 degrees Celsius, this is what's called absolute zero when there is absolutely no kinetic energy, it really is a bit of an imaginary state. -273.15 degrees Celsius is 0.01 K which is the triple point of water, water is actually pretty weird. Either way, if you were using Celsius = K - 273.15 (which is really close enough in most cases)... How the hell did you get 8000 K = 1100 degrees Celsius ? Even then, do you think your light bulbs are burning at 1100 degrees Celsius? Aluminium melts at a bit under 700 degrees Celsius. On Topic: Your reflectors are made for halogens, using HID's could cause unexpected scatter. Not all light is the same. =) Good quality halogens are fine, just get them in 8000K. But don't complain when you either crash or get defected.
  13. Like me So it has 3 settings, Off, Mid Speed, High Speed. I think it would be cool to have a switch that over rides the speed detection essentially allowing you to "dial in" a speed and consequently manually telling hicas what to do. So you don't need a lock bar to disable HICAS. Unless of course it changes in behaviour from 50km/h to 51km/h. Anyone know how the HICAS speed detection works on an R33 gtst?
  14. You don't have to be a member. But it looks like this guy got what was coming to him once before, this guy tracked him down notified the police and took him to court, he got all his parts back. http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index.php?s...t&p=1632614
  15. X-Trails are fkn awesome! I love your build. X-Trail GT = hot. On a more serious note and because you didn't select troll, I wouldn't turbo it right away. From what I remember of driving an excel, it under steered like crazy. I'd focus on suspension, weight reduction and do the usual NA mods, CAI, extractors, exhaust, etc. As turbo xtrail said, don't do too much to the body to remain respectable. But may I suggest real carbon fibre. CF Kit, boot, hood (I don't think it's legal though), mirrors. Light weight rims not too big, good brakes and coilovers, put on a bit of camber - fix that understeer!! Get rid of everything in the interior that's wasted weight, the sound deadening under the carpet adds quite a bit of weight. As where to get any parts, honestly I have no idea. There's a reason why people don't mod these cars, I can think of a handful of similar cars (and price range) which scale a lot better in terms of engine modification.
  16. Attention Whore. Psychological Problems. Troll. Pick two.
  17. Yes, but before I bother explaining colour temperature. Think for a second.... Do you really think those lights are burning at 8000 K? That's ~7725*C The temperature of the surface of our Sun is ~6000*C EDIT: Oops, Added instead of minused 273
