  1. Yes!! Esanda will finance an R34gtr. If you have had your abn for more than 2 years and have good credit, all they will ask you to do is sign a declaration that you can afford the repayments. no financials required...
  2. you need to use genuine parts, and have an itemised receipt for service carried out by a qualified mechanic if its not serviced by toyota.. If you go to make a major wty claim, these things will be checked..

Yeah mate thats fine, Hertz sell them [ex-renters with 25-45 klms] through Fowles auctions at not much less than that, say $14,000-$15000. then on roads etc... check for history though, toyota wont cover a car unless it has service history and a few have gone up in smoke due to 30,000klm old oil that is too thick and sludgy for the oil galleries...
  4. I agree with Johnny, pay the extra and cover your arse!! My 34 is insured with Just Car insurance for 55k with mods. im 27 and it costs $754 per annum. by far the cheapest of all insurers. The original internet quote was something like $1250, i then clicked on, "make my premium cheaper" and adjusted my excess up to $1200 or something, which reduced the premium to that $754 mark. To me it seemed like a good idea. Hope this helps. i had a 32 gtr when i was 24 and the premium then was about 1100, without changing the excess..

  7. Barina is just a facelifted 2002 daewoo Kalos. dont buy one buddy! Buy a new yaris. better quality of build than the Getz, and comes with "service advantage" basically every service up to 60,000 is $120 each [full parts/labour]. Plus Re-sale is better..
  8. Takes me back, My first was a white VH SL/X. couldnt afford the SLE! had a 253 blue motor and i saved up for a set of simmons for it. they were 16x8 V5's in Gold! It got stolen/ recovered with no simmons, no headlight/taillights, no bumpers, ripped seats, dented panels, smashed glass etc! Thank goodness for insurance! They paid me out $4800! Which started me on my next car!
  9. Have driven the car a few times now, no issue whatsoever!! must just of being a safe mode. will invest in an ebc this week to keep the boost under control....
  10. Wonder what these cars owe them landed and complied? you would definately want them considerably cheaper than the est 160k Aus delivered price given no wnty etc... Or are they paying full whack just to be one of the first to have one???
  11. "Street Presence" you've got a GTR buddy, comes standard with plenty! I agree with a few posters, keep it subtle. Race cars have all the livery because they are paid to have it so unless your local mcdonalds pay for your HKS stroker kit, leave it cleanskinned!! just give it the worlds best polish, lower the ride height and have the right wheels and there you go. Perfect! thats my opinion anyway. good luck with it mate
  12. Just drove the car home, made 1.15 bar peak then 1.1 bar consistantly. no problems whatsoever. it seems that it only happens after it over-boosts. given that i think it must be a safe mode on the ecu. any thoughts???

Yeah true it only stores the peak boost figure, but it does show instant boost pressure and generally speaking it will peak at a bit over 1.1 then it will flicker around 1 bar through the rpm range. but since this infrequent strangeness has occured it will only peak at .7 and flicker around that region. like i said its not all the time and its only just started to happen. Im still none the wiser???????? Any more thoughts Johnny or anybody?

I was driving the car through a mountain section of road one evening through the week and the car was making really good [too much for stock turbo's] boost. say 1.15bar. then i pulled up at the next set of lights. as i accelerated away from the lights the car felt really doughy. it was not pulling more than about .7 bar of boost. this continued and i wondered what was wrong. on the way home, i put the car in 4th at low speed and heard the turbos spool up [much louder than i normally do]. i figured i had a small crack in a hose or something. Then this morning i drove the car again.... Made lots of boost around 1 bar and i put the foot down in the lower gears about 5 times.. all perfect! on the second to last lot of maximum acceleration in made 1.19 bar!!! Then it did the same thing again and boost didnt want to go over .7bar. i doesnt sound today like there is a cracked pipe though [no excessive noise from the turbo at all?!?!?!?! If anyone can help me identify what the problem/solution is that would be great. is it a faulty actuator/cracked pipe/ecu drama/safe mode? who knows??? you guys do, thats why im here!!!
