Cheers Mate, Spent a fair bit over the last few months. Top end Rebuild, Aesthetics, got rid of alot of things i hated from the previous owner. I am all about jap spec not bling and chrome. I was going to come out to the meet tonight but after fitting the new timing belt its a little bit loose, so once its warms up gets a little funny. So will tighten it hopefully next week.

Just to clarify. The guys in red cars with Australian Federal Police written down the side are called Uniform Protection Officers and deal primarily with Guarding high profile government officials, bomb threats, embassy related matters, terrorism, they are not instructed to perform general traffic duties. When I say ACT policing its general title given to regular police officers around canberra, because technically AFP are national. Federal Agents, Uniform Protection officers etc wouldnt waste there time pulling you over unless you had a bomb or some of columbias finest.

Yeh Mate, I have noticed it alot. I usually see at least 4 cop cars or paddy wagons everytime I head out. They are everywhere. I've seen motorcycle cops in the middle of roads with radar guns, Pursuit Cars hiding down from Speed Vans. How vigorous are the inspections you have seen? are they just checking stickers?

Hey Guys. Saw a Maroon R32 behind me most of the way through nicholls about 5:30pm today. Just for those of you who dont know, while my skyline is off the road am getting around in an dark blue 1989 Mazda MX6 Turbo with a ridiculous wing and a set of shitty vault wheels and a massive intercooler out the front. Hope to be back in the 33 by march. Until then if you see me getting around wave to me, dont show me up like most skylines have been trying to do not members of course.

Check the cooling system condition, check the radiator, if its dirty or looks suss dont touch it! I have just bought my second high performance car, both never made 7,000km in my hands before they were rubbish. I have just discovered to today my R33 has a blown head gasket caused by corrosion and damage from an unserviced radiator, which i have just replaced also. When things like this are neglected and the damage is done its only a matter of time before something goes wrong and you wont be able to see it happening. Looks like the beast if off the road for 4-6months for a top engine rebuild. Going to do Cams, computer, injectors, highgrade metal gasket. And looks like need a new roof after the bonnet incident. Stretched the metal beyond beating. Loving the new bonnet thoug. Tell me what you think. Just got it last night The best tip I can give anyone is treasure your cooling system and buy bonnet pins!

So by that you dont mean Glossed raw carbon with big aggresive nostril vents like the one I ordered

Just ordered a Blazer Carbon Fibre Bonnet and Some Bonnet Pins! Cant wait fit it. For those of you who dont know, my current stock bonnet had relations with my windscreen and my roof. Its my first step inside the carbon circle, wonder if it stops there haha.
